Our ally way entries are being repaired and it was not possible for the trucks to enter. We were asked to put our rubbish outside of our homes, as we were notified to do so. In spite of that notification some of us were unable to do so. One of your wonderful drivers backed down the ally and picked up our recycle container anyway. THANK YOU for going above and beyond. It is so important to know who are heros are and have always been. You people, are heros without capes who are so important to our lives, who keep us safe and make are lives so much easier. If this pandemic has taught us anything it should be who really matters, who serves us with out hesitation, without being acknowledge, and only noticed when something is not right. I had received a past due notice even though my account was set up under recurring payments. It turned out that somehow my account was reflecting an account number we used 4 years ago in Vancouver, Washington! Jenny Davis in the Bend office was wonderful to work with and walked me through the steps necessary so that my account would reflect the correct information. I contacted Cascade Disposal because for some reason our recycling trash can hadnt been collected in 2 cycles, but our trash was being collected. I spoke with an amazing representative named Patricia. She was incredibly helpful and sent the rural collectors to pick it up on Monday after their collection in Deschutes River Woods. She also followed up with us to make sure it had been collected. She was professional, kind, attentive, caring and impressed us beyond words with her follow through. I honestly havent had such a wonderful customer service experience in what feels like forever. I wish there were more Patricias in this world!

Whenever I contact Cascade Disposal, Sharon is ALWAYS there to answer my questions. I can hear her smile come through on the phone. She answered my question about recycling my old computer even though Cascade Disposal does not take care of it. Because I thought it was next to the Humane Society, I was lost. Cascade Disposal does a great job for me here in SE Bend. The drivers are courteous and leave the disposal containers upright, the service reps are always helpful, and the fee for curbside pick up is reasonable (garbage, recycle, yard debris, glass, etc.). I very pleased with their service!

I understand Bend is going through a hard time right now with the wildfire. But, they first made a decision to delay the Monday pick up to Saturday due too poor weather when all the trash pickup can be performed by the trucker sitting in their driver seat. Delayed pickup can result in excess amount trash to be picked up which might requires worker to pick those up manually to expose the worker in the bad smoky weather. This is still understandable just saying better decision can be made. But all the sudden, they decide to change the pick up date again. Not even a 24 hours ahead notice. Hey, you got me. those trashes are gonna smell at my house for another week. Good job.

I didnt think I would write a review for my garbage service but today the driver on our route waited for me because I forgot to put my bin out on time. And of course, today was the day my garbage was overflowing and would have been horrible to wait another week. Its the little things that can unknowingly make a big difference. On Thursday I spoke with Michelle in Customer Service letting her know that we had tree work going on the next day in our neighborhood which could complicate scheduled pickup. Michelle said she would contact scheduling for an earlier pickup! On Friday morning the last of the Cascade Disposal trucks was leaving our neighborhood as Arbor Tree Care was pulling in to our neighborhood before 9 a.m.! Thanks Michelle for being so kind and making sure that we were well cared for.

Cascade Disposal provides great service to the Bend, Oregon community. They have caring and involved employees that constantly make their customers feel worthy. I noticed that on the section of their App that let me know what items were recyclable the image displayed was contradictory to the words below. I wrote on the App providing this info. The next morning they wrote back thanking me for the catch, and said theyd look into it. Within a couple hours the image on the App was changed. Not at all what I expected. I seldom do things like this because it often falls on deaf ears. I appreciate it when someone shows ownership in their job. Nice work ethic :) Steve

We traveled with friends for 3 days in SR. I have NO idea how it happened, but I dropped my small traveling wallet somewhere on my travels on Friday June 19th.Wednesday morning I got a call from Erwin, District manager telling me one of the drivers found what appeared to be my wallet sitting on the outside of a trashcan. If you’ve never lost a wallet before, you don’t know the relief that flows through you when you hear those words! Well apparently, Erwin had lost a wallet before and knew what I was going through.I just got the package from Fed Ex.Since I know that he didn’t want a reward, I have decided to donate the money that was left in my wallet (I was traveling with friends when I lost it) to the food bank here in my home town in the name of Cascade Disposal. I’m tried to reach on phone for month, it’s keep said busy. They never answer the phone for some business. They’re not respectful for answer the phone to any customers who been waiting for the calls.

This is just a great company. Theyve been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and their customer service is bar none. They assisted me getting garbage and recycling set up with another company outside of their service area. Their website is user friendly and all the information you need is provided.

We also worked with the driver of our route who met us onsite to help with placement. So nice and helpful. The drivers, crews and office staff are so pleasant. We missed last weeks pick up due to having a car blocking which was our oversight. The office called and were very nice about it and even offered to come back another time. Ive used Cascade Disposal since I moved to Bend in 2009. My experience with them has been remarkable. They always deliver great service--my cans are left empty, on time, the first time. If a holiday is approaching or theyre forced to reschedule due to nasty weather, they over-communicate and show up promptly when they can. Ive never had issue with them leaving trash around--blowing in the wind or spilled after a pick up. They are at the ready when Ive had to call (once or twice), and their automatic bill pay worked without incident this entire time! One time a can of mine went MIA and they were there the next day with a new one, no questions asked. Simple, professional service that I never have to worry about.Bravo--great utility company in Bend.

We recently sold our home of 13 years and I have always relied on Khyra Duncan to help me with various things, such as adding a Yard Cart to our bill, or now canceling our account. The wheel fell off our garbage can and must have fallen into the truck. I called when I noticed the missing wheel, right after the truck came by. That was less than an hour ago, and theres a;ready someone out there fixing the can. I wish I could name the woman who I talked to there; she deserved credit. I like to get a person when I call a business, and she was great.It has been a good morning.

Terrible customer service. If you should complain that they missed picking up your trash they become defensive and try to determine how it was your fault. Then if they tell you that they will fix things, they simply ignore the promise. The city grants this company a monopoly. I guess they dont have a great deal of incentive to get it right.

Update: I wanted to update this review as Cascade Disposal has gone above and beyond to make this situation right for me. After I moved into my new home, the manager made sure my new cans were neatly set upon my property and ready for use. They also went to great lengths to improve the quality of service we receive when calling in. Customer service has been great! I really appreciate that the Manager took this seriously and implemented measures to make sure these sort of issues dont happen again. Im a very happy customer now!Id leave no stars if possible. This company not only Nicole and dimes you, but the customer service is aweful and rude. 2 times in December the wind blew my lid open and they charged me extra saying the lid didnt close because of too much garbage. They did reverse the charges. Then several times the garbage cans were 1/3 full after pick up and I was told to just leave it till next week. (So anotherwords. We will charge you if you go over and the lid wont shut but we wont take all the garbage when we do the pick ups) I requested they call the driver and have him come back and empty my can. They complied. When I moved unfortunately I didnt get to use Bend Garbage as they are amazing and have wonderful customer service as well as free yearly pick ups. Something Cascade doesnt offer. They also charge you if youre out of town and dont use their Service. When the customer service rep argues with you regarding what another rep told me on the phone and poor service makes me wonder how long this type of attitude will last in this town. Be nice youre in Bend.

I have had great experiences both online and via email and phone with Cascade Disposal, immediate responses to email, calls are answered immediately and information provided has been complete, accurate and includes directions on how to update accounts, add services, etc. Great service.

I am new to Bend and Oregon, had to call to get new service, tight turn around from my land lord stopping service to me getting service. I thought it would be tough transitioning with his stuff to my stuff and coordinating the pick up but NOPE not with Khyras assistance. She got it all sorted out effortlessly and humorously. Mostly flawless service but occasionally fail to pick up either garbage or recycle, but they pick up the neighbors. Kind of weird considering the cans are out on time and there are no obstructions on the street. Also wont come to pick up full cans that were forgotten when they failed to do it the first time. People on the phone are vague/clueless. Too bad I cant pick my service provider.

I Just wanted to give some major props to the driver on our route. He went above and beyond and came inside our office to see if he could help us out by grabbing some stuff we had queued up for the soon to be emptied bins.

Every other week recycling? Terrible. Way to promote recycling and a healthy environment. The amount of things they consider non recyclable is a joke too. Unless its straight up glass or plain brown cardboard, better not bother.

Very frustrating service. They have skipped my Sunriver house twice this month with renters and family having to live with the inconvenience. Customer service rep full of excuses and slow to suggest remedies. Three times this year I have had to call them about failure to pick up garbage. Seems if one personal item is left on the porch or someone is standing in the driveway they wont even try to make the effort. No refunds given for lack of service either. Seems like a shady, and inconsiderate way to do business, which I guess you can get away with if you have a monopoly. SROA help!

Very efficient and well staffed. A covered load will save you a few bucks.

Very shady business practices. Will cancel a container when you have already paid then give a bogus reason and cant tell you who cancelled the order when you are the only one to have placed it and authorized. Not good when you have workers onsite that you have to pay for time lost.

There service is aweful. Unreliabke and too expensive. Bad service staff.

The drivers are terrific and friendly

It seems like every time I have to call this company, they dont do what they say theyre going to do. In the past Ive called to have a damaged cart replaced only to have them replace it with a cart in worse condition. Recently, I added yard debris to my service and it took 3 weeks and 5 phone calls to actually get the cart. While some CS reps are very friendly, they often are not helpful.
