The people I deal with are better then I imagined

I am a home care worker who is paid through the state to care for elderly and/or disabled. I am not an employee of the state. The state considers me to be an independent contractor. I have been caring for state clients for many years. I am 71 years old so I definitely understand seniors. I also work with one client who is young enough to be a daughter of mine. We have a lot of fun together. Due to my age and my own physical problems I have cut back a bit on some of the things that I do but I do everything I can do. I am not going to stop working if I dont have to. I was in the Senior and disabled office in Bend, OR to turn in my paperwork so I can get paid. It is the next desk down from the Child Welfare desk. I will also care for children that are disabled as long as I dont have to do lifting over 10 pounds. I love children. My own son who is now 37 years old is physically and mentally challenged. He now lives in a group home in Bend.

They only reason it got a star is because they got one star from me is because I got to see my kids other then that only a very small hand full is willing/want to work with you to get your child back

Always so nice and try to help in any and ever way they can and my caseworker Miranda gets to know each of her clients on a personal level and shows that she cares.

Most corrupt system ever! I dont have anything nice to say about them. They destroyed our family.

Over step their bounds daily. They should be disbanded

Reported food stamp fraud and elderly abuse. They may do something someday.

I go there for my food stamps Once a year to reup for another year

Nice space for orientations and good connections.

What a joke! Cant even send documentation properly (missing documents) There is no advocate to help fill out said paperwork. I have made a report with the Governors advocacy office of Oregon. Google it!!

One woman was so rude to me I front of my children I had to just walk out....not impressed at ALL!!!
