I’m going through the most difficult time I’ve ever experienced right now.I reached out to Harry, he scheduled an appointment with me right away.He expressed genuine empathy, and I felt better after the first appointment.I didn’t feel as “hopeless”.Since then, he has continued to go above and beyond for me.He was referred, and I can clearly see why.If you’re going through a troubling time, I highly recommend Harry Borcherding PMHNP.

I went to Harry because he was one of two names given to me by my GP and was able to get me in. He is not a psychiatrist but is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner meaning he can prescribe, which seemed to be the only thing he was interested in providing. Any prescriptions he wrote he spent an abnormal amount of time reciting the information he’d memorized about that particular medication. He referenced me to a therapist if I wanted to talk. He couldn’t remember simple things he had told me to do, failing to review his notes prior to our visits. When I explained I was having a hard time focusing due to whatever was going on with me he told me I just needed to buckle down rather than attempting to treat the symptoms I was having. Overall I found his bedside manner lacking and his demeanor troublesome.The last appointment I had, I prepaid my copay for the next visit as I was paying in cash, so he wouldn’t need to make change. I had to cancel that visit due to a sick child and he never made the effort to get back to me to reschedule nor did he refund the copay I had paid ahead. I’ve been seeing a new Psychiatrist and his office has requested my records from Harry after every one of my visits, now numbering 5, and Harry has refused to contact their office or provide the information requested. This is against the law and has been detrimental to my treatment because my current physician has no idea what Harry was attempting with the medications he was prescribing. I know the options in Bend are limited but try to find another provider if at all possible.Edited to Add: My release has been faxed 5 times along with a phone call to the number on your website from my new Dr. to your office each time.I called to reschedule, my calls weren’t returned and your billing specialist should have refunded my copay automatically after my care ceased.

Harry has always been very understanding, not judgmental, encouraging, and introspective. He has always made me feel safe to speak what I am thinking and helps me see things differently. He was the first psychiatrist I went to when I moved to Bend and I am so glad I got so lucky to have had such good luck!

Harry is amazing! I don’t know what I would have done without him the last year and I am so sad because of insurance reasons I have to find someone else. Harry gets me. There is no fuss no muss with Harry you can just trust him with everything! There is nothing in this world o would be afraid to tell Harry. And it makes me want to cry to know he isn’t part of my team anymore. Go to him! Trust him! You will be glad you did!

Doctor Harry Borsheding is an amazing man to talk to. He is quick and efficient. He is through and knows your story but doesnt judge you for having a sick mind. He gives you time to share and make progress at your own pace. He justifies my feelings and thoughts.He offers solutions to my way of thinking.He answered 2 of the most important questions in my life about bi-polar 2 mental illness. Ive had mental health counselors since December of 1992. No one has had a straight answer until now for me. From Harry.I was blessed to cross his path.

I’ve gotten to know Harry Borcherding in a professional capacity. Over this time he has proven to be compassionate, reliable, and obviously good at what he does. I would easily recommend him to anyone (as I wouldn’t say about MANY care providers I’ve seen)

He’s late to every appointment and cuts them short and still charges full price. He will then charge you or try to charge you for appointments you didn’t make. Or he will cancel appointments and reschedule the day of but if you do it 6 minutes after the 24 hour limit he will still charge you. The guy is just a total quack. Don’t waste your money or time!Update - So for the days I scheduled time off at work for appointments that you rescheduled the day of or day before, and since not one of my appointments went for the allotted time I paid for should cover the money you think I owe you (plus some). Also I have called many times about this but you just don’t seem to call back? Kind of weird when it’s on your reviews you finally respond and come back with a bogus response?

Harry is conscientious, caring and always reachable. I appreciate the email and text appointment reminders also.

Dr. Harry has been caring and considerate. He has helped me go through a very difficult medication transition that I had thought might have been impossible. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the central Oregon area especially as I am aware how difficult it is to find psychiatric help in the area.

Refused to help me with my attention issues ... told him I was able to find some adderall and it helped with literally everything I was having problems with ... he just shamed me for taking it and continued to ask me about the weird pills that haven’t done anything for at least a year now ... money hungry know nothing.

I’ve seen a lot of psychs in my life and Harry is by far the rudest most insensitive prescriber I’ve ever met. Even my pharmacist went out of her way to let me know how rude he was to her over the phone. This guy just wants your money. He’s got the bravado of a Harvard educated psychiatrist but doesn’t have the credentials to back it up. Big douche.

Harry is very understanding an helpful. He is also very timely and reposnsive to communication. Highly recomended.

Harry Borcherding is chronically late for his appointments, allows his boston terrian to jump all over your lap and zero interest in listening but rather hearing his own voice. He will most likely over prescribe without listening to your concerns about doing so. I went here with a dear friend as a second set of ears because of his discomfort for the guy. He was totally right and am glad he chose to end this relationship.

I went to see Harry for an eval. He was very kind and thourough. I never felt as if I was being interregated or questioned, he was simply getting to know me and the struggles I was having. His office is very comforting, as it is an old home, and the environment was overall great. Highly reccomend.

I have been seeing Dr. Borcherding for a little over a month. He has been delightful so far.

The doctor saw me for 20 minutes, charged me 1st with a little cube on his phone although Im 80% covered on my Blue Cross insurance. My 2nd visit was the same. 40 minutes maybe in total for almost $500 out of pocket, zero help from this place, Im surprised theyre still in business. Harry was an extremely rude person, hes definetely in it for profit.

Harry stopped returning my calls, Im assuming it was because I didnt want to try his new meds. Forced me to stop taking old meds cold turkey. Was a REALLY bad a couple months. I would suggest finding a real doctor.

I have been through 6 different in patient treatment centers for alcohol. Not one of the well known treatment centers has identified the underlining issue as to why I keep relapsing. They have only been dealing with the addiction to the drug.I found Dr. Harry Borcherding after my last relapse to try a different avenue since the centers were not helping me. I can say that what an experience all of this has been in my life. I not only quit drinking, but I have found the Happy Cheri again. He helped me to realize that I wasnt getting the help I needed for my mental issues which was pushing me to drink. As I now know, I was drinking to help eliminate the pain inside I was feeling. Meanwhile I was getting sicker and sicker.My last relapse gave me a horrible seizure that cut open my lip and gave me to black eyes. Ive disappointed my family over and over again. Thanks to Dr. Borcherding, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
