Best fishing guide in Central Oregon.

We had a group of 4 guys go out with varying skill level. Our guide Steve was great in explaining the techniques as well as getting us into spots to catch some fish. Everyone in our group was able to net at least one fish and overall it was a great experience.

My partner and I booked Buried Hook guides to learn the sport of fly fishing. We brought along our 2 adult sons as a birthday gift to them. Steven and Cage were our guides. They did a fantastic job of teaching us the sport while sharing their passion for fly fishing. Steven took care of all of the logistics including waders, poles, flies and a great lunch. He even let us catch a ride with him after we parked our camper at the state park. Steven and Cage spent the entire day with us on the river. All 4 of us had a fantastic experience due in large part to their professionalism and expertise. Many thanks to the guides. We can’t wait to fish again.

We had a great day fly fishing on the Crooked River with Stephen. We were 3 novices, but all caught beautiful trout and had numerous hookups. He scheduled our trip for mid-day so we could catch the current hatch, and stayed on the river far longer than we had planned.Stephen is a very knowledgeable and experienced fly fisherman, and the gear he provided was excellent quality. He was a pleasure to spend the day with, and we all look forward to doing so again!
