This “service” was a BIG waste of money. Initially my husband and I were excited to learn that there was a service that could assist us in our relocation to Bend and could potentially offer more housing options than what we were finding on our own, unfortunately it felt pretty “scam-ish” immediately after paying. Melissa gave us a quick 15 minute phone call for our consultation (though advertised on the website as a 45-60 min consultation).. before ending the call Melissa promised she would be sending multiple properties within the hour, this NEVER happened. We had clearly stated we were in need of a place as early as June 1 and no later than mid-June, so the first listing she sent us was available in July. The second listing she sent we went ahead and applied for it and got denied due to a felony charge my husband had from 10 years ago. Rather than providing us with the proper information about renting and homeowner guidelines etc., she dropped us from her services altogether stating she had been “blindsided” by his record.. (Maybe that full consultation would’ve been handy?) because honestly, WE were the ones blindsided that we were denied for this.The back and forth emails that followed were very unprofessional and avoidant, stating that she would be keeping our $1000 (when literally doing zero service for us). She later followed up to say she spent a day calling around and no one would look past his 10 year old charge and there was nothing left to do… within a week I was approved for three different properties all on my own.Different states have different renting guidelines, we are both working professionals and have never had an issue renting a place. As a relocation agent providing that type of information would surely be valuable.

It was really fun to tour around Bend with Melissa. We learn the history, fun facts, great restaurants around the town. If you are moving to bend, she will be the go-to person I recommend.

Took an entire month of multiple phonecalls, emails and texts just to be turned down because our situation wasnt easy. Would have been nice to have been told as much without the month of effort trying to get a response from this company. We got what we were looking for the following week sans the $1000 fee for this companys help, just would have been nice to not have wasted so much time and effort just to get a response. Definitely a service for the ultra wealthy and not the hundreds of working class families trying to get a roof over their heads in Bend. Apparently placing 3 dogs (one is 5 pounds) in a home under $2000 in Bend is impossible, but honestly I think its just hard and there are easier clients to help for the same amount of money.

Melissa was responsive and really helpful on finding me a place to live for the second time. She work really hard on finding the right place for me, my fiancé and my puppy which in bend oregon is hard to find a place that allows dogs even tho Bend is supposedly pet friendly town 🤷🏽‍♂️.Having her help gave me all this different options with out having to constantly be on my phone/computer to find the latest post from property management companies and allowing me to focus on my day to day chores.I didn’t even know that this kind of service existed and I’m soo happy I found her to help me through this process.Trust me IT IS WORTH IT a I recommend this to anyone and also she is a really nice person that actually cares about the satisfaction of her clients and enjoys that she is able to help during stressful times for all of us.I have and always sent people to her to get the help that they need.
