We cant say thank you enough to Leah with Flip Flop Sounds for being such a perfect part of our wedding day! She was on time, helped us run through our rehearsal before the other guests arrived (we didnt have access to the space the day before to do that) and was so flexible with last minute changes! She also got a video of a surprise in the ceremony that I had planned for my husband which we are so grateful to have! Leah checked in with us throughout the evening, flowed with us when we ran behind schedule and kept the dance floor going the whole evening! We had a great planning call a few weeks before the wedding to get all the details together and she was excited and enthusiastic with all of our personalized song choices. I have also had the pleasure of being at some other events their team has DJed at and they are a great group of friendly staff!

I hate leaving a poor review but I have reached out to the owner multiple times to try to talk with him first. He is not responding. We hired Flip Flop for my daughters wedding and I couldn’t have been more disappointed. The DJ, Leah, seemed to have zero personality, and not at all energetic. She seemed very unorganized, almost like she didn’t know what she was doing. She had clear instructions on the order of events and she clearly didn’t follow them. There are multiple things I’m disappointed in, but I would not recommend this company at all, in fact, I have been telling my friends with kids not to use them for their events. I’m disappointed in the lack of response from the owner as well. For the cost of this service, I expected premium service, which wasn’t even close to what we got. I would look elsewhere for a DJ!

The DJ, Brian, was the absolute best! He was ready for anything and made our day amazing!! Seriously cannot thank him enough!!

We used Flip Flop Sounds for our wedding at Sunriver Resort in September. We relocated our wedding due to COVID and so we booked Flip Flop Sounds with less than 6 weeks until the wedding. They were really easy to work with leading up to the wedding, and helped us build a plan that fit our needs, since we werent planning for a ton of dancing or anything due to COVID, but wanted a livestream of the wedding. The livestream was PERFECT. Honestly, it was also great because now we have a recording of the ceremony. They were very professional and made sure we had mics so that guests attending virtually could hear everything, and the moved around a lot to capture different angles of us during the ceremony. DJ Courtney was awesome during our reception. We didnt give him much heads up on some things we threw into the plans last minute (like a trivia game!) but he rolled with it and made it such a fun night for our guests. Highly recommend.

We can’t say enough great things about Yancy Faulkner!He went above and beyond expectations for our wedding. He really took the time to make sure that our wedding day was incredible.He smoothly guided the course of the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.We did not have a wedding coordinator at our event so his timing announcements to the group were invaluable.He had many great ideas that added touching and memorable moments into the reception. He had all of the song selections that we requested and a very extensive collection of music.Yancy has a professional manner with a humorous side that carries the perfect balance of being a strong, guiding presence for the event while remaining low key in the background so the focus remains on the bride and groom throughout the entire evening.Yancy’s thorough knowledge of weddings and events coupled with his passion for what he does and amazing service skills really shine through. I really cannot express enough how grateful we are to Yancy Faulkner of Flip Flop Sounds- we continue to hear the best comments from our guests, wedding party and other vendors about our music and DJ. My husband and I cant thank him enough for making our wedding and reception energetic, fun and memorable. Thanks again!!

You need to remind one of your DJs that she is a DJ and has been hired to play music and make announcements ...not to use the evening as her own personal hook up dating service. If she put half of the amount of energy towards the bride and groom instead of the men in the group, she could be a decent DJ. Not great, but okay.

We had Brian as our DJ and I dont think Ive ever heard so many compliments about a DJ (including from myself) from all our guests at our wedding. He read the party and kept everyone on the dance floor! I would absolutely recommend Flip Flop!

We had Courtney DJ our wedding and he was fantastic. Very professional, had an awesome read on the crowd, managed all the speeches and announcements perfectly, and worked extremely well with all the other vendors. Would highly recommend for any event.

Courtney was the DJ at our wedding and he was absolutely phenomenal! He kept the flow of the entire day running smoothly and efficiently, and hes overall just a bundle of joy to be around. DJ Kurlz was super helpful during the planning process for my wedding, then of course on the day of she brought her A-game and kept the day moving seamlessly. She brought professionalism and wisdom that I dont think I could have found anywhere else. Flip Flop was a fantastic addition to our wedding! Eric Ruggirello was an awesome DJ! Way above our expectations!! Equipment was great, not a single issue.

Leah was the cherry on top of the most important day of my life to date. She was not only a pleasure to work with - but she went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I got everything we wanted out of her services. I was nervous about finding a good MC for our wedding as I am very particulate - but luckily we found Leah and hiring her as our DJ + MC for our wedding was one of the best vendor decisions we made. I highly highly reccomend her for any event you may be planning!!

We saw Erik and Leah both dj last year. Erik was very dedicated to his audience and was very professional and friendly. He was entertaining and really brought the crowd alive! He made sure everything was going smooth and did a great job. Leah on the other hand, was none of these things. She was the complete opposite of friendly and rarely ever smiled. It was very boring to listen to her make announcements and there was absolutely no enthusiasm in her voice. Very blah! She was more interested in her phone than anything else. Erik 5+ stars, Leah 0.

Brian DJd for my daughters wedding at Aspen Hall and he did a great job. He was there in plenty of time to set up the micd ceremony outside and kept the dance floor full till the end! Would recommend them for any event. Thank you Brian and Flip Flop Sounds!

Eric was great to work with! Flip flop sound has a great easy to navigate webpage that allows you to select as much of your wedding music as you want. I however am a terrible bride and did not fill much of this out! oops! I was given our djs contact info shortly after booking, as I was out of town I had every intention to call, however i didnt! He called a week before to see if we had any questions, then called the night before to point out i had in no way filled in any of my song selections for any important dance, etc. I text him my songs and a quick idea of the type of music we wanted for cocktail hour/reception. He absolutely nailed it with how little I gave him. He kept the dance floor full through the night. couldnt have asked for a better dj!

Provided all the services they promised and kept the party rolling!
