It was our first experience working with Austin, who was patient with all our questions and handled everything with great kindness and a sense of humor. The install team included Robert, Ray, Jason and Ryan – all of whom were amazing. The group was respectful of us and our space, and they went to great lengths to do their work in a safe, professional and efficient way. I own Novickys Farm, a vegetable farm in Central Oregon growing tomatoes for our local restaurants. I wanted to have all the capabilities to remotely monitor my greenhouses if Im out of town and appreciate music outside while playing in the dirt. Additionally, if the temperatures in my greenhouses goes below or above a certain degree, I get a notification on my phone and I can monitor the sage rats trying to eat my tomato plants. I contacted HSS to update an old system in my home. Lawrence gave me several options from working with my old system to installing a new one. I went with the new system and very glad I did. Had HSS replace an AV system installed in a custom home built in 2013. Existing system plagued with issues, extremely dissatisfied. Happily all that is now in the review mirror thanks to HSS. I hired the “guys” to update the sound system in a home I recently acquired in Bend. The house was wired but it was a mess. I converted a large downstairs room into a combination Theater room and exercise space, we upgraded the sound in my billiard room and family room and we added music options to my kitchen and several areas on my deck. Additionally we set up a Sonos speaker that could be moved wherever I wanted it. The upgrade included remote thermostat access, remote security access and remote lighting controls in the theatre room. The guys did a spectacular job of using ingenuity and technology to give me a very high quality system that I can control from anywhere at any time from remotes or from my Apple devices. I love their work, including the fact that it was all done while I was not in town. If you are looking for a cheap, low quality solution, this is not it, but if you want quality that works well and looks spectacular, these are your men. I cant tell you how careful and detail oriented they are. Robert was extremely patient and helpful and listened to every need that I had. You never know when you explain something if the end result will translate. The end product blew me away! So clean and high quality. Robert listened to everything that I wanted and under limiting circumstances, surpassed my expectations! The team installed a server cart in one of my closets that acts as a central hub to all of my equipment. Their wire management that Isaac organized on this unit was so thought out.. every time I show a friend or family member what HSS did, their jaw just drops. You have a server room in your house? They mounted a t.v. perfectly in the bedroom and added full 5.1 in the living room with a telescoping arm. Sounds amazing! I have such fun playing my music all around the house. Really top-notch job and Lawrence and Isaac were so clear and honest throughout the pre-planning, price estimation and installation.I will continue to use them for years to come for modifications and upgrades. HSS completed our custom design and install, including custom mount TV, surround sound, Sonos, internet and media cabinet, all while we were finishing up a remodel and moving into our new place. HSS installed a 46, 55, and 62 Samsung TV system in our home in Bend, Oregon. The 55 Samsung flat screen system is a 5.2 and the 62 Samsung 3-D system is 7.2. Their choice of equipment to meet your needs are first class, well thought out systems with great compatibility with a price range of options to fit any budget. Workmanship is great. HSS also integrated a Sonos sound music system and shared home network system along with the TVs. They support their equipment very well.We plan to bring HSS down to Austin, Texas to install a similar system in our new home. They are that good.

HSS installed a top-of-the-line 55 HD TV in cabinetry designed to provide flexibility, support and beauty. Top of the line components with fans to keep them at optimum temperature were installed in existing cabinetry. They installed a Sonos sound system which shared with the TV the five speakers which were totally enclosed to prevent contamination. The speakers were carefully placed and calibrated for optimum sound quality. HSS offered us a selection of three levels of expense for our project prior to start date; each one was carefully detailed which made it easy for us to select the best option. HSS did most of the installation themselves, and managed the installation of necessary cabinetry. HSS has provided excellent follow-up and has always been available to us for questions; we have had no problems. Jeff and Laurence have always been very professional, respectful and careful in our home. They are both friendly and extremely efficient.

After some research into who we might engage to update and upgrade our home audio/video center we chose HSS. Our decision was made partly because we were looking for a vendor that was small and who had the principals also doing the line work. HSS fit the bill as Lawrence and Jeff were it. We had a whole wall of A/V equipment completely changed both in terms of the appearance of the wall itself as well as having some new equipment installed. This involved basic construction which Lawrence and Jeff designed and supervised and new cabinetry at the base of the wall which was also designed by HSS in collaboration with the cabinet maker. While they worked on the A/V project they also upgraded our home wi-fi network making it more powerful and more flexible. This needed to be done so that we could have our A/V system accesses the internet as well as utilizing our Apple TV and installing a SONOS music system. The project turned out beautifully and more than met our expectations. Lawrence and Jeff are extremely competent, very reliable, tidy, pleasant, and constantly available when we felt we needed them. In short, they were a joy to work with which is always a bit of a craps shoot when working with a new contractor. Additionally, they continue to remain available long after the project was finished. We now consider them professional “friends”.If we ever need to have this kind of work done again there’s no question but that HSS would be our choice.

Prior to moving to Bend in 2011, we hired HSS to upgrade the audio and video systems in our home. We wanted a top notch system and we are not disappointed.Lawrence spent a lot of time in the planning stage before we arrived in Bend so that we could be set up as soon as possible once we moved in. HSS provided and installed new televisions, receiver, Blueray player, Apple TV, speakers/subwoofer, Sonus sound system, cable, and upgraded wiring throughout. They connected us with a cabinet maker for a custom cabinet to house these components in our living room. They also set up our network and other office necessities to get us fully functioning right away. Any challenges were met with creative and informative solutions.Lawrence and Jeff have been excellent in their followup since installation. Theyve been back to make sure this entire project still meets our expectations and the components get the most currect updates.
