**update** - We have just completed our second project with CODR and I can no longer in good faith recommend this company. The first time even though the project took months, I was just grateful for the help during a pandemic.This time however, we ran into more delays. Then the job was just straight up not properly completed. The crew left tape everywhere, materials in multiple rooms, boxes of extra flooring around. The dishwasher wasnt re-installed for two weeks before I hounded them.Then, because the project ran up until the day before our friend moved into the house, I had to cancel the cleaning team I had hired to clean before she moved in. I was told their cleaning person could do the extras in the kitchen at her super low rate and I would be billed just for the additional cost. I was billed $270 for some cleaning in JUST the kitchen. When I complained about the cost, I was told there was years of dirt and grime built up, but they reduced the cost and were forgoing their standard markup fee and charging me at cost. The cabinets were just stripped, cleaned and repainted last year!Just really appalled all around at the treatment this time and really upset that the job wasnt even finished- how we had to do so much of our own cleanup and still got charged this absurd fee. Im scared to even look at what else they are trying to invoice for after this.Original Review:CODR was able to help us when everyone else we called was booked out for months and months or said our job was too small. Everyone who worked in our home over the past couple of months was super friendly and communicative.One of our walls has some wild cracked mud texture going on and I wish I knew the guys name but he was able to replicate it SO WELL completely by hand on a big stretch of wall that got replaced.

These guys were very impressive! They turned what should have been a 2-3 week project into a 9 month project and the amount they charged for it was literally astronomical! Nothing like working that good old insurance system for everything they got. Honestly very surprised these guys are still in business. I still have things around my house that they didn’t quite finish but the thought of calling them let alone letting them back in my house keeps me up at night.

This is the 3rd time we have used CODR for water damage. Their mitigation services were outstanding. Their reconstruction services were the best weve encountered. The employees went above and beyond to see we were happy. The owner even came out with one of the crews. What OWNER ever does that? If the need arises will use them again,

CODR responded when my toilet overflowed after I called another company that never showed up. They cleaned up and dried out everything quickly. Repairs are almost completed and everything is coming along great. My insurance adjuster mentioned he does a lot of work with CODR and they are the best in Central Oregon. On Sunday August 2nd we discovered a major water line had burst underneath our home. Upon the recommendation of a friend, I contacted Central Oregon Disaster Restoration at 3:30pm and a crew arrived at 5:00pm ...really quick considering the fact that it was a Sunday afternoon and our home was 20 miles away. The team ultimately discovered the break had occurred on Saturday and 35,000 gallons of water was under our house! It has taken a month to complete the clean-up and repairs with several different teams having to address the problem. Every team has conducted themselves in a very professional manner and with a positive attitude...no matter the number of questions we have posed to them. My wife and I are so grateful for their services. We highly recommend them for their quality of work and the way the central office kept us in the loop by coordinating all the necessary visits to accomplish their repairs. We truly appreciate their high quality of work and sensitivity to our needs!

Our kitchen flooded right before Thanksgiving and CODR was on it! I called them and they answered all my questions. They sent out someone to review our case the next day and set up fans right away. They scheduled us to start mitigation a couple of days later. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The dealt with all the insurance billing and talked directly to our insurance company. I HIGHLY recommend them. Dont consider going anywhere else. They are amazing.

Great with major repairs but not so much on small details. So, last November we had a pipe burst in the kitchen and flooded much of the 1st floor of our house. They arrived quickly to mitigate any further damage. They fixed the major issues but took until March for most things to get fixed. Since then we noticed a floor board that wasnt nailed down and two kick panels have fallen off. We contacted Brian in April and he told us they would be over soon but nothing. Wife called and left a message again in June and pretty much same result. She just called a few days ago in September and sounds like the message she got is that theyve been busy. Too busy to fix improperly installed items for 5 months?Update: so, soon after I posted my original review they contacted my wife and they quickly fixed the items with issues. I just wish that they were more responsive before the review because it was a waste of time and effort for us for months.

The guys that came out to cut my wall out are very nice and polite. Madison greeted me and answered my questions. Helped me reach things to clear the area that they were going to be working on. Very pleased with them.

CODR is first in line for any work that my Company needs doing and we are never ever disappointed. The team did a great job, these guys are craftsman. The work was very well organized. If anyone had a question they were not afraid to ask and double checked to be certain they understood - I loved this. I was always kept in the know about materials on order and work scheduling. The amount of effort that went into matching a particular trim color was exceptional and really emphasized how much they cared about the quality of the outcome.

This company has been amazing to work with. We called Central Oregon Disaster Restoration when we discovered our toilet had been leaking for who knows how long. They sent a couple guys out within an hour of our call, and they went to work quickly. I thought for sure my home would be a disaster for weeks while they fixed the problem, but to my pleasant surprise, they remedied the situation much quicker and were as minimally invasive as possible. The gentlemen that worked on our bathroom were very courteous, and answered all of our questions (the many of them that we had!) with patience and understanding. I had a kitchen fire this October. CODR was prompt with getting people to my house to start the work. Everyone has been very respectful and professional.I consider everyone that was in my house as friends. My house looks fabulous!! I had a small bathroom leak and from their Mitigation, Jessica and Mickey to the end were all professional, reliable, courteous and considerate. I can’t say enough good things about this company. In the worst of times, every individual I dealt with was sympathetic and gracious, as well as honest about the challenges ahead. They have the science and training to back up their work, and avoid use of harsh chemicals while completely resolving any contamination concerns. You don’t want to have to call them, but if the situation warrants they are the very best.

Had them come out and look at mold damage and told them I was looking for someone to clean the mold and do the rebuild, that I wanted one company to do tear out and rebuild. And if they couldnt do the rebuild I would find a different company. They assured me that they would do the rebuild also. And that my insurance cap on tear out was $3500.. .needless to say there was a 2x1 and a 2x4 peices of viny6they said had asbestos in it. So the double billed for the tear out said I owed $5200. On tear out. Which they only worked total of 10 hours for that amount and stopped then came and got their equipment and told me the couldnt do the rebuild after they already said they would. Came to over $500.00 per hour. And didnt even finish the tear out.

This review is for the mitigation side of the business only... we had 2 separate incidents back to back, when we tried to replace our dishwasher we found it had been leaking under our kitchen floor for who knows how long, we also had a 2nd floor laundry machine leak that we noticed dripping through a 1st floor vent. With 2 kids in the house we were really concerned with mold, but the crew that set up containment did so with meticulous detail and the entire mitigation work was done with utmost professionalism. We utilized this company for the reconstruction work as well and while there werent any explicit problems, the timeline etc made it feel like a different company altogether, I wouldnt say to avoid the reconstruction side but I wasnt wowed like I was with the mitigation side.

Our business flooded from a broken water line causing major damage. One star only because it is required to post a review. I would give minus stars if I could. Contacted them on a Friday because of a very unpleasant problem -- a sewage leak. Their representative said no work could be done until after the companys estimator came to the house (perhaps by Monday)...that there would then have to be consultation with our insurance company...and that work could be done possibly by the end of the following week, I contacted ServiceMaster, whose technicians arrived within an hour and went to work. I never heard from Central Oregon Disaster Restoration again. They will never hear from me again either.

I have been meaning to review about this company and finally getting around to it. About a couple of months ago I was searching for a restoration company to help me with my water damage from my fridge. First thing is I went with another company and this company talked to them and told them not to take me. This alone I think is unprofessional. I first wanted to go with this company, but serval reasons made me switch. When I called they assigned we with a person who wanted to talk to me right away and because of work and other reasons told them I would call in a couple of days since the damage didnt need immediate attention. When I tried to contact this person, for about a week, I had no response only voice mail. I then talked to the of the mangers and told him I couldnt get a hold of the person. He said he could talk to him. I was very cautious about contractors since we just had a bad experience with one months before this and I was too trusting. I asked a lot of questions and he seemed annoyed that I would do that. He told me the insurance would only give me what I deserve, as if I was some person trying to steal from the insurance. He was very rude and acted like he had better things to do.

We experienced water damage in our house and our plumber recommended CODR. I called and they had a mitigation team on the job within the hour. Mitigation and dry out was fast and efficient. We were so impressed by their work that we selected them to do the restoration work and found their entire staff to be great to work with. CODR worked hand in hand with our insurance provider and we would recommend them to anyone in need of these type of services.

I cant say enough good things about CODR! We called two other companies on a Sunday afternoon after a supply line broke in our bathroom and flooded the interior of our house both upstairs and downstairs. CODR was the only company to actually answer our calls for help and arrived within 30 minutes! Justin was our project manager and is very knowledagble, informative, compassionate and thourough at his job. His team of individuals working on our house over the course of the next several weeks were very respectful, curtious, effiecient and the communication from everyone in the company was the best in any kind of company I have ever encountered. Unfortunately, we had another water damage issue within the time frame we were working with CODR on the first one. It was also on a Sunday afternoon just days before Christmas. We called Justin and again, he personally arrived within 30 minutes with his team to assess the damage and begin the mitigation process right away. Not one day went by that we did not get informed about where we were in the mitigation process and what the near future would look like for us. Their first priority is to always make sure we could maintain functionality in our home and were very respectful with our belongings and pets. The aspect that I appreciate most from this company is their willingness and thoroughness in advocating for their clients. Justin was always present when our insurance adjuster came to inspect the damage to make sure nothing was missed. Cody was so great at working with our insurance company making sure we got everything financially covered to repair our home. Jesse quickly reached an agreement with the insurance company and Sean supervised the entire project in a proficient way. At the same time, he made me feel like I do not have the slightest thing to worry about. Quality employees and excellent customer service!

I live in a townhouse of 4 units. Very recently the water pipe under the kitchen sink of my next doorneighbor broke in the middle of the nite. From that 3 of the 4 units including mine were flooded. Luckily mine was the least damaged. Part of my dining room carpet was soaked which required the removal of my large, heavy hutch with valuable crystal and china.The 2 young men very carefully wrapped every piece of value , packaged it all in boxes (13) and stored it in my garage. It took 3 days and nites using 3 large industrial fans to dry the area. Then the same fellows unpacked the items and moved the hutch back into place. Everyone who worked on my place were very courteous and professional. I would recommend your group to anyone that had disasters in need of some kind of restoration.

We had been gone for 8 weeks in July and August, when we returned we found that we had a bad water connection on our toilet tank and the water had gotten into the walls between the bedroom and bathroom as well as both floors ruining the carpet and vinyle. We called our insurance and filed a claim and then called CODR, they came right out and put a bid togather and worked with our insurance adjuster, making sure that everything was noted and the claim encluded all the work that needed to be done. CODR worked with our schedule to complete the work in our time frame. We would call them again if we ever needed work done. Fine company and a great group of employees.

We were overwhelmingly impressed with CODRs work with regard to water damage in our home. From the moment we called, a mitigation team arrived on the scene 41 minutes later, and did not leave until the moisture had been substantially removed. They left amazing instructions regarding the dehumidifiers and blowers set up in the home, and monitored for residual moisture before commencing restoration and repairs. The mitigation team was fast, efficient, empathetic, pleasant, everything youd want at a time youre feeling pretty miserable about water damage! The estimator was thorough and very knowledgeable, and the CODR team went the extra mile by emailing photos and estimates directly to our insurance company, copying us as well. Once these were processed and approved (quite quickly thanks to CODRs thoroughness and a great insurance company), the restoration phase began. That team was talented, fast-working, and so ethical that they admitted they werent entirely satisfied with one aspect of the carpet refitting, and wanted a project manager to review it. This was done, and he concurred and a solution was identified and executed in an amazing turnaround time. From the front office people and the billing people, from the mitigation team to the estimator to the restoration team, we couldnt be more pleased with the work Central Oregon Disaster Restoration did for us. What was so amazing in all of this was that the damage occurred just a week prior to our plans to list this house on the market. On the evening of the water damage, we just assumed wed be months later listing the home than wed planned. But CODRs teams addressed the damage, and finished the restoration, and in the end, we listed the home only nine days later than wed originally planned. The home showed beautifully, had been restored to pre-water damage status, and all the invoices were exactly as estimated, save for a credit we were given on an aspect of the work they had estimated but ended up not needing to do. Incredible people, fantastic results! Thank you CODR. We highly recommend this firm if youre facing water damage!
