My son and I had a fantastic scenic flight with pilot Matthew on August 19, 2021. We departed SunRiver and then circled Mt.Bachelor. We could easily see the Summit House and the chairlifts. We then flew north and got close views of Broken Top and the Three Sisters. After that (now at about 9300 feet altitude) we turned east and south, flying over Black Butte and Sisters and eventually Bend. Matthew pointed out sites from the air we may not have noticed on our own. After about an hour Matthew pointed the Cessnas nose south and we landed back on runway 18 at SunRiver. BEST FLIGHT EVER. Wide variety of aircraft in the training fleet, and very affordable prices. Flight instructors are great. The maintenance crew would answer a few questions, and showed me some of the stuff their working on. On the way out the door you can have a little debrief with the wonderful receptionist. All around great school.

Steve and the team at Bend Aircraft are terrific!I flew into Sunriver and had a minor maintenance issue, but there are no maintenance facilities on the field. The guys at the Sunriver FBO said that Bend Aircraft was their go-to shop to help out people in my situation. Steve made the trip to Sunriver, diagnosed the issue and got my part ordered and I was on my way without negative impact to my trip. The fact that he made the effort to travel to Sunriver and at a reasonable cost was a terrific surprise.This is the type of service you just dont find anymore, especially with how busy shops are today. I highly recommend Bend Aircraft!

Worked with CFIs Josh, Jerry, and Ella. From Andie at the front, to scheduling and quality of the planes, to the CFIs, Bend Aircraft offers outstanding service, great instruction, and solid planes. Never had any maintenance issues that prevented or made flying unsafe, or uninformed random last minute changes or cancellations. I finished up prepping for, and taking, my PPL Checkride. Passed it with “flying colors” thanks to the outstanding instruction/preparation I received. It’s like going flying with your buddies, buddies who know their stuff and push you to know yours and be better and stronger. 5/5, 10/10, 100% would recommend and will use for renting and working towards my IFR rating.
