Terrible experience with Dale and Grand Home Designs. Dale did a great job selling his services on the front end. His involvement in our project was minimal and he was unresponsive on many occasions. His final plans had many errors (missing windows, inaccurate elevation, missed the front setback by several feet, etc.) We really only worked with a draftsman but paid for an architect. Additionally, Dale must get a huge kickback from Durango Doors. He pushed those on us several times even though we made it clear we had zero interest. Overall, Dale tells you everything you want to hear in the initial meeting and then disappears. He doesn’t even take the time to look at your build site so he can account for elevation changes or setbacks.

Dale was amazing throughout the entire process. Watching him literally draw out a house by what you tell him from your imagination ... it is truly extraordinary. Every thing you can ask for or want, they can do. The entire staff is really friendly, and GIna is prompt, answers all emails and calls in a timely manner, and they truly cater to you. If I ever build again, you can bet I will use Grand Home Designs, and I highly recommend them.- L. Rollins

As a professional Engineer I have found their communication lacking. I have made multiple attempts to aquire information on a project. It took 7 days, 3 phone calls and an email to the owner of the project (their clients) before receiving a response. Responding phone call was incomplete. Opposing comments from staff as to why no call back provided. Half way through conversation the designer had another meeting with a new client and had to go. Huh what about the client that already had a project done???Project is incomplete on my end until I get information. Sending project and letter back to owner of project. Sadly they spent thousands with this firm. 11,000 sf house.You would think they could communicate with other fields better.
