A friend recommended Pratt Automotive a few years ago for all things Toyota related. They serviced my 2005 Tacoma and now my 2016 Tundra. Service is always prompt, and estimates for work to be completed are accurate and fair. I had my Tundra serviced there this past week and Ms Vicki called this morning just to follow up and make sure I was satisfied with their work. I’m so thankful for Vicki, attendant specialist, and the mechanic specialist, Nuevar, for pointing out a water pump leak. Vicki educated me on what the technician saw the minute he opened the hood that indicated the leak. Pratt was recommended to me by two trusted friends. Weve been going there for years and have always been happy with their work. Vicki Mendez is our spunky and knowledgeable service writer. During our most recent visit, they estimated a large job would take about 20 hours. Ouch. But it ended up only taking 10 hours. We appreciate their honesty and integrity! I drive 25 miles each way to their shop and wont take my Lexus LS 460 anywhere else.

I was having a very bad morning when my Check engine light came on. I dropped in, unannounced, and these professionals were EXTREMELY accommodating to my needs. Vicki and Chris worked me into their schedule. Brian diagnosed the problem, and fixed the problem in a very short amount of time. Brian, a Master Mechanic, was unbelievable!! Ive never seen someone of his expertise work so diligently to fix my car. He is so detail-oriented, he made sure the work was done right and on time. Absolutely fabulous job, company and personnel!!! Friendly staff, private owned...so you know youre not getting screwed unlike dealerships. If you dont need it, they wont pressure you to get it. The second you drop your car off at a dealership they begin suggesting all kinds of services, a way to empty your pockets. Service itself is great, never had issues with vehicle after pickup. First visit and wont be our last, thanks to Vicki and the technicians at this shop. We had a desperate situation and needed to have our Tundra road-worthy in 1.5 days. The technician was able to diagnose the issues (on short notice!) on Tuesday afternoon, and got the truck up and running again on Wednesday afternoon.The initial estimate they provided was the final total...no unnecessay add-ons, no up-selling, no BS.TRULY ABOVE and BEYOND customer service. Seriously. Take your Toyota or Lexus there and see for yourself.

First I called and spoke with Vicky for a quote for a timing belt change on my 08 GX470. Vicky was very upbeat and professional and answered all my questions accordingly. I decided to use them for a timing belt change. Everything was completed in a timely manner and I could not be more pleased with their service. I have been going to Pratt for years. They are honest and will shoot you straight. Recently I took my 2010 Prius in for a small random problem with the car. They looked at it for a week and could not get the problem to repeat. They did not charge me even though they spent time on the car. I took my Tundra in for breaks expecting rotor replacement because I drove it a long time with low pads. They quoted me a price with and without rotators. They were able to turn the rotors and save me a lot of money. They are always happy to look over vehicle when I am buying as well to give me peace of mind on my purchase or help me steer clear of a bad buy. Go here if you want dealership expertise without the dealership runaround. My whole family uses Pratt.

After Sewell Lexus said my engine was burned out, I took it to Pratt and they properly diagnosed it as a Fuel Pressure Sensor. Sewell misdiagnosed my problem and wanted $9000 to put in another used engine. Sewell offered to buy my broken car for $200. Pratt found the real problem and fixed it for $900. These guys are superb! They literally saved my car. Next time I have a car problem I will go straight to Pratt.

Had a new evaporator installed on my Lexus. Unfortunately the shop did not perform a clean job, but charge as if they do. To have the evaporator replaced the whole dashboard needed to be removed, once I got my Lexus back there were serious cuts found in the leather parts of the dashboard that weren’t there before. Now they are very noticeable. They finished the job almost as if it was free. I understand it’s a tough replacement, but I expect for the amount I paid that the job be completed much more cleanly.

The very best Lexus (Toyota) service around both for price and quality. The people are wonderful and so helpful. Our family has five vehicles and weve saved literally thousands over the past three years using Pratt exclusively.

I cant say enough good things about George Bean, Service Mgr., Vicki Mendez, Service Advisor & Administrator, and John one of the highly trained and skilled mechanics! My Toyota van needed numerous conditions addressed, and each one was expertly and efficiently diagnosed and resolved. I can now drive again with the assurance thatmy van is safe, and has been restored to like new condition. We have been taking our cars here for years and had wonderful experiences with Jim and Jerry but sadly they sold the company. I called in for a price to get the antifreeze changed and the lady who is the new receptionist laughed at me and said that is not something that is done. All they will do is top off my antifreeze when I get my oil changed. Well news for ya I called Toyota dealership and yes I got my car in and antifreeze changed, it needed it before it froze this winter. Now I found another Lexus/Toyota mechanic a little farther from home but at least they have great customer service. Miss you Jim and Jerry.

Family owned service shop. They win customers firstly because they are honest. They won me over when a big name lube shop recommended a high dollar repair but when I took my car by Pratt for a second opinion they told me that the repair was not necessary. They were right.And when they do work on my cars, they do great work! I am a long term customer and will go with Pratt who is building long term customers rather than meeting a monthly service quota.

I have known the Pratt brothers, Jerry and Jim since 1991. They used to work for a local Lexus dealer. I was thrilled when they went into business for themselves, because I knew that Jerry, who I requested of Gary Fuller (Service Mgr. at the time) to work on my car, was very knowledgeable, open, honest, and treated my car as if it was his own. We both didnt like Corporate BS, and knew that even Lexus customers wanted to save money, while the best of maintenance/repair was being done on their cars. So, while I now live in SC, every time I go back to TX, I make a point of having my Lexus LS 430 looked over by the Pratt brothers, and now another good Lexus mechanic, Jake. If any work needs to be done, I have it done by them, even though they directed me to another great independent Toyota/Lexus service and repair shop in Mt. Pleasant, SC, McIntosh Imports. Youll save money with lower parts and labor costs, and not go wrong in any way, if you give Pratt Automotive a chance. NO BULL!

This place used to be great when Jerry and Gary owned and ran it every day. Unfortunately they sold out to new owners who just don’t measure up. Sad.

I bought a 2009 Lexus new and still own it. Pratt has taken great care for me since day one. Let me put it to you this way....I drive from Houston to have Pratt work on my vehicle. They are the only people I trust.

I was a customer at Pratt for a few years prior to the new ownership and have since had my vehicle serviced more than once. They are timely, consistent with their communication and the prices have literally remained the same (if not a few dollars less for an oil change!) Also, and most important, the manager and the front desk staff bend over backwards to help in an emergency. Without a second thought, they checked out my vehicle late on a Friday afternoon after it had been towed to the shop, fixed it within a few minutes and sent me back out to a car that has been starting smoothly ever since. They were so proactive, expertly knowledgeable and yet still so kind to me in a stressful situation. I have experienced a seamless transition to the new ownership and will remain a Pratt Automotive customer as long as this service continues. 5 stars, without a doubt!

I take my 2000 Camry there for every thing I need done on my car. Even though I live 40 miles away they are definitely worth going there. The service and reasonable pricing keep me coming back. My technician Anwar Saleem is who I ask for. He provides me honest, excellent, and quality service! Ive never had to go back for the same issue. He does the work right the first time.

Pratt is an anomaly in todays world of dishonest auto repair shops. They have integrity, do good work and guarantee it.

Jerrys attitude is great toward the DIY and really offers a lot of assistance as well but dont expect them to get your parts cheaper than you can, as thats what keeps me going back and letting them tackle the major things.

Pratt Automotive has serviced my Lexus RX 300 a few times and their customer service is the best Ive ever had for auto repair. They are very knowledgable and take time to explain everything - particularly helpful to a female who doesnt know much about car repair. :) I recommend them to everyone I know - great service and very reasonable prices - they gave me the best price on getting my timing belt replaced and offered me the same length or longer warranty as anyone else. Give these guys your business - you wont regret it!

Love these folks they have fixed my Lexus several times over the years. Always upfront and honest and professional.You really cant ask for more than that. A friend of mine referred me to Pratt Automotive. In the past I had been using Sewell Lexus for all of my maintenance issues. Pratt replaced my water pump and timing belt. Their cost was less than Sewell and my service experience was excellent. I will continue to use them for all future maintenance and repair issues. Quality service from quality people!

My car (Lexus ES300) had a body noise coming from the body and the rear light sensor was on. There was also an exhaust noise. I made an appointment with Pratt Automotive. They fixed the noise problem and changed one of the rear light bulb. I tried to pay but the manager told me there is no charge for this type of short time work. He referred me to a muffler service to do the exhaust pipe work. This service is much better than I have received from a dealer. I would strongly recommend Pratt Automotive for works on Lexus and Toyota.

Good work but not cheap

When I had an oil change done recently at NTB, they told me I needed new front brakes, suspension, and shocks. I took my Prius into Pratt Automotive and they put my car on the rack and determined that it didnt need any of those items. There was a problem with something else but they told me if it wasnt causing me any problems, there was no need to fix it at this time. No charge. I am glad to know theres a place I can take my 2008 Prius and that not only are they competent at fixing any problem it may haver but almost as important, I can trust what they tell me.

Under new ownership, not as accommodating as the Pratt brothers were, prices have gone up and just didnt get a good vibe from the sales pitch that I was given! I have trusted the Previous owners with my cars for over 15 years and my gut tells me find someone new!

Had my is350 serviced last week at Pratt automotive, service was wonderful. The guys were very knowledgable about Lexus and Toyota vehicles. Its all they work on. They use Lexus/Toyota oem parts or OEM manufacturer parts. Their prices are super reasonable. They even gave me a loaner Lexus for the day. The only drawback you will encounter is their popularity. They work by appointment only and the wait for oil changes can be 2 weeks sometimes. I tried them after a couple of friends recommended them. Im glad I listened.
