Great small engine mechanic. Very reasonable fees. All together, a fine business.

Got a phone call to let me know my mower was REPAIRED and ready to be picked up.Once I showed up the lady at the office explained to me what they did, she say something about new parts, and serviced the carburetor, changed oil and sharpened the blades. I paid 78 dollars and we went outside and she had problems having it to work so she sprayed the air intake and the mower started on but rpm’s were too high so she told me she misread the mechanic diagnosis and the mower wasn’t good anymore because need it a new engine.She explained again that she got confuse about the mechanics notes and proceeded to reimburse me some of my money because accord to her the minimum charge they can do is $30.00.Oh well I wasn’t too happy but I understood, also asked her if she new right away when she started it that need it a new engine how they went ahead and put new parts, oil change and sharpened the blades ?The answer again was she got confused. Grab my broken mower the rest of my money and went back home decided to trash the mower but since the blade was sharpened accord the her and MY INVOICE, decided to take it off and save it and that’s when I found out the blade was untouched just as dull and rusty as to when I dropped off.My advice avoid this place. They get confused about everything except charging you for inexistent repairs and non performed job.

Super nice folks. And usually pretty responsive on getting your equipment fixed in a timely manner. Their hours can prove to be difficult to pick up/drop off repairs. Close at 4:30.

Well after I spent 70$ having my edger repair.Thinking I have a new carb etc. Nope!!First cut no good! Came back on Thursday cuz so called mechanics are there Im tinkering they would put me in first nope!!Told me to leave it till next week cuz his buzy!!Run pepole!!Run!!

B&K does small engine repairs and they may do good work but they have ripped me off. I took in a push lawn mower that had a problem of running for about 10 seconds then stopping. I suspected that the problem was a spring that controlled something in the carburetor and pointed it out to the lady in charge. My wife picked up the lawnmower today and informed me that the bill was $97.97. I was charged for a spark plug, air filters, blade sharpening, and even an oil change! I did not ask for a total maintenance service visit. Those services are usually taken care of by me. I suspect they did this to jack up the total bill with labor costs. What is the most underhanded behavior by this business is that they do not call and tell you what they have found and what work you are going to authorize as has been my experience with honest repair businesses. Stay away or get in writing that they will call you with their estimates.

Poor service, did not fix problem. I had to request a refund which I received minus a $25.00 charge for labor. (not a good way to get a repeat customer).

They are very reasonably priced and usually have your equipment back to you before the estimated time that they tell you at dropoff.

I brought a Stihl and Husqvarna chainsaw into this shop and they were a week later then promised, they charged me two to three times the price that the parts should have cost, they charged me for parts that werent even needed, they charged me a 6 bucks for shop supplies, they didnt fix the oil leak I had, and didnt replace all the missing bolts. BILL WAS $256. No point in arguing over the bill because there was nothing I could do about it. I suggest going to Empire Feed. They may take a long time, but they fix it right, they are honest, and cheap.
