Craig and his team were amazing. They quickly got to work and never hesitated to answer any questions I had. They were more than happy to show their progress during installation, which included me taking pictures to send my husband. They did everything they could to make my new equipment as functional as possible for my older style home. They even trimmed a tree that was a little to close to my new AC unit. I wpuld recommended them to anyone.

New system had manufacturers defect (motor in outside unit not running correctly). The Rudroff team has been amazing throughout our relationship! We’ve been on their annual maintenance plan for a while, so we knew they were good. We have come to appreciate how truly great they are as the heat wave rolled in this summer and our AC gave out. Rudroff was prompt to visit, diagnose and provide a temporary solution at no cost. We figured we needed a new system, which Rudroff confirmed and provided us fair quotes with manufacturer and electric co. rebates deducted on our behalf. Installation was a breeze! Once they dug in, the installation team realized that our current system design meant that an expensive, optional component that we chose to upgrade to wasn’t actually needed after all, so of course I was really wowed by that unexpected savings suggestion! Customers for life!

We had our A/C system inspected which was covered under our Club Maintenance plan. The service tech did the inspection to make sure we didnt have any problems and also looked for anything that might cause future problems. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful of our property. Excellent person to have on the job!

They let us know when they could check it and when the AC needed replacement gave us information and we decided to have both AC and heating replace. Since it was very hot and humid we were happy we didnt have a long wait to have the new system installed

They installed a new A/C last summer and they were quick to install a new gas heater when our old one burned out due to the power going out and causing a power surge. They are a quality company and their people are kind and professional.

First of all working with the Rudroff team was a pleasure from the start. Jerry Hermon worked with me and the insurance company to make sure all the questions were answered in order to move the process along smoothly. As to the technicians Craig Adams and Sam, they were very conscious of their work ethics. As to our prior discussions and planing of what work was to be done, they completed that, as well as resolving other issues that they had found from the prior installers. They made sure I had an understanding of the equipment and patiently answered all my questions. I work in IT, setting my expectations, in serving my customers, on meeting their needs at a high level. We called Rudroff after our AC stopped turning on. We are new homeowners and have never dealt with something like this. Bill had a great customer service attitude, very friendly willing to chat just a little to Robert, while he did the report of his work and prepare the bill. He was very knowledgeable, knew right away what he needed to check. I highly recommend Rudroff for service or installation, I have personally used them for both, was very satisfied.

Rudroff put in the HVAC at my current house 12 years ago and has been a pleasure to work with ever since. When we discovered an AC failure just a few days out from closing on the sale of our house, they were understanding, attentive, and responsive, and were ultimately able to get everything fixed in time and for a fair price. My AC wasnt blowing cold air when I turned it on for the first time this season. Bill was here within 20 minutes of me calling. Selecting one of the options offered is difficult. We have used Rudroff since the installation of our current HVAC system in 2010. They have always done a thorough job of maintaining our system. Their technicians are friendly and helpful, explaining and/or answering any questions I have.

Im completely surprised this company has a couple negative reviews. They have been an absolute pleasure to work with. The staff that makes appointments is very nice and accommodating. Theyve always showed up on time and call first. The salesman was very knowledgeable and didnt try to over sell us. He took his time and made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. He was probably here for an hour and a half going over things with us and answering questions. The crew that installed our A/C and furnace were great and cleaned up very well when they were finished. Its now 6 months later and we had them do a check of our furnace before we fire it up for the colder months. The technician Jerry was again very courteous and answered a couple questions I had. If youre looking for a good heating and cooling company I cant recommend them enough. Thank you to everyone at Rudroff for being a pleasure to work with. I will highly recommend you to friends and family.

Our heat pump was overheating. Called Rudroff to set up an appt. at 10:O0 am 9 /21/19. Appointment was made for 12:00 to 2:00. Tech arrived at 1:30 and in no time diagnosed the problem. H e gave us our options and no time at all pump was repaired. Jerry did an excellent job. We are very satisfied.

Called for service on my AC unit on Monday, had pulled a stick out from between the shell and the coils, and it started leaking all the freon out, they sent Bill out that afternoon and he gave us the estimate on repairs or a new unit, decided on a new unit and was going to be installed Friday. Bill called on Wednesday and said he could come do it now, he was prompt, earlier than promised, and got the new unit in quickly! The unit he installed is SO QUIET!! cooled the house down in no time! Rudroff went above and beyond getting us back up and running! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!

Rudroff is not the cheapest on the market, but they are the nicest and most honest on the market. Highly recommend them. After all, you get what you pay for.

Very pleased with the prompt service and professionalism as well as the ease of getting the service performed. However I feel I was seriously overcharged for the part installed. After price checking the part installed it is priced anywhere from $40.00 to $60.00 but was charged $350.00. I do not mind at all paying more for parts that are off the truck...I get it. But truly feel a bit of price gouging occurred. Was in a pinch and had not used this company before.

My tech Craig was awesome. He was prompt and very professional from the minute he got here until he left. The first thing he did was put covers over his shoes, he kept me informed when he was going outside to check on things, and with everything he did. I have the check up/service agreement with them. They come out in the spring to check over the ac, and the furnace in the fall. It is the best money you can spend. They find problems before they get big. These are great people!

I had originally set an appointment for a certain date but something came up and I called a few days before the appointment to change it and they came out the very next day. Our heat went out Sunday morning, we called our service provider Monday and got a 5 day window. Call Rudroff and they came out in less than 4 hours. They did have to order the part, had it fix the following day.The service tech was very polite and honest.

I called them for service on my heat pump and they diagnosed my reversing valve as needing to be replaced. They came back out and replaced the parts and then informed me that my compressor was now damaged as well (even thought the previous technician said it was fine).I am out almost $1000.00 and still no better then I was when I initially called them.I had been a customer for many years but I no longer have confidence in there ability to correctly diagnose or fix any issues or take any responsibility when they mess up.I received a call from the owner after my previous post and he offered to refund $500.00 of the $887.00 since they were not able to deliver the service I expected. While I would have preferred a different outcome I am pleased that he took the time to call and recognize my displeasure and take action to provide a refund to defer the cost.

Bill was out very quickly and talked me through what had gone wrong. My heat is back on and I learned a little bit more. I am extremely pleased with the service as well as the cost. I will be using Rudroff as my heating and cooling company from here on out. Thanks again.

I had Rudroff come out and my home A/C unit. Jerry was there on time, were very courteous, charged what was expected, and didnt simply try to sell me an A/C unit. They advised me on an optimizer plan I was on with the city, cleaned my A/C unit, and advised on a couple of different things to address to keep the cold air flowing throughout my house. Curtis came to my home for my winter tune up yesterday. My only concern was the humidifier. He performed thorough inspection and testing of my furnace, then tackled the humidifier. He found that the solenoid controlling the flow of water into the humidifier wasnt working and replaced that. He also demonstrated how fully opening the valve from the water supply actually reduced the flow of water through the solenoid! The humidifier is working very well now.The service visit lasted two hours and was fully covered by my membership in Rudroffs Comfort Club. Since buying my HVAC system and hot water heater from Rudroff in June 2016, Ive been extremely pleased with their service and support!

Called my regular A/C company who I have a maintenance agreement with, they told me it l would be 2 days before they could get someone out. Bill was out my house within 3 hours and got my A/C working. Rudroff is my new HVAC company from now on.

Bill is very thorough and he always does a great job! The Comfort Plus program includes a system checkout every spring and fall and I recommend it.

Overall, it was a good experience. There was a small accident where a part got broken, but it was replaced and taken care of quickly by the technician. My A/C is very old and the part was brittle which caused it to break. Despite its age, the A/C still works great.

Similar to other reviewers, I find the price gouging that this business takes part in to be opportunistic and greedy. Robert arrived promptly and diagnosed the lack of cooling in our A/C unit to be a broken capacitor used to operate the condenser and outside radiator motor. It was exactly $256 to replace the capacitor on top of the $90 diagnosis. Unless the capacitor is made of gold, it is a $60 part. I was forced to pay this ridiculous sum because its common practice to gouge in this industry and couldnt live in a 98 degree house. When I tried to question Robert about the repair, he got defense and acted insulted that I would raise any concern. Bad customer service for getting an effing tin can filled with foil for $350.

Just had my new units installed yesterday 4/26/19. From the beginning talking with Greg Latshaw (my salesman) to the finished install by Craig Adams and Sam, I couldnt be happier...and I am seriously very hard to please.
