I had Aurum do Insurance repair work in 2019. They replaced my roof and made some siding repairs for me. I was very happy about the work and the people who did the work. I got a 5 year warranty with the deal.Yesterday (March 27, 2021) I asked them to return to repair some siding that had come loose and that was, I thought, under warranty because it was right next to the roof. It had to be removed and put back on after the roof was done. All turned out well!Once the situation was clearly explained to everyones satisfaction the work was accomplished in a timely and professional manner.If you want reliable service and people who honor their agreements, then I suggest you get in touch with these folks. Aurum contracting was such a great company to use to get my roof gutters and siding replaced. My contractor (Dave) was very knowledgeable about the whole process and answered all the questions that we asked. He was very upfront about what it would cost us to get these things repaired. Dave met our adjustor from our insurance company and went thru all the damage we had with him to make sure the adjustor didnt miss anything. It was a very smooth process. Dave called a week before to tell us when they would be there to replace the roof. They had it done in one day as well as the gutters and siding in one day too. As they were replacing some of the siding, they noticed some water damaged on a header. They didnt want it to happen again so they fixed the problem and replaced the damaged header too. They did a great job and was very professional the whole time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Aurum replaced my roof in 2019 which was a totally satisfying experience. The craftsmanship, efficiency and overall quality of their work was beyond impressive. However, a year later my roof started to leak around the area of my chimney. I called Aaron and he came right out to see what the problem was and as it turned out it was the collar of my chimney which had finally rusted through. The chimney was not a problem when I had the roof replaced so it was not in my quote. However, Aaron was very concerned about the leak and about me being satisfied with my new roof. He totally assisted me in getting the old chimney replaced and making sure I was satisfied with the workmanship. He was not obligated to help me in the least and could have just walked away but he didnt. He went above my expectations to see that my problem was resolved. With a guy like Aaron at your service you cant go wrong choosing Aurum Contracting. A sincere thanks goes to Aaron and the team at Aurum.

After receiving a bid for a roof and siding job I was ready to sign a contract with them. When I went to their office to sign the contract they decided that they werent going to do the job. They were not the least expensive, but I wasnt prepared for them to balk. Very disappointing that the job was too much for them. I wish they would have just been upfront and honest.

I cant say enough good about this company! The crew was professional, polite and hard working. They completed the entire job in one day including scraping off 2 layers of shingles and installing 2 new skylights along with the new roof. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Aurum roofing did a excellent job on our 1873 historical home.A great crew that stripped 3 layers of shingles and a layer of wood shingles. Installed all new wood planking and beautiful architectural shingles, all done in one day. A day or two later the gutters guys came and also did a amazing job, they were installed and look great. Do not use! Horrible experience. Very poor communication, poor workmanship, does not clean up well, and all around bad. We ended up in court after the owner threatened to assault me. Contact me for photos of the work that was completed and see for yourself. Highly suggest that you find another local contractor.

I had a property that had some extensive damage from a fire. I hired Aaron and Aurum for some framing work on this property and they did an excellent job. The work was handled extremely quickly and professionally. I used someone other than Aurum for the roof and regret that decision. Had I used Aurum, Im sure it would have gotten done more quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend Aurum to anyone looking for roofing or siding work.

We had Aurum do the roof on our house and were happy with the work so we hired Aurum again to do our siding. The siding on the house looks good even through lots of weather issues we had. My problem is that all the brick molding on our windows was damaged from the tear off. I contacted Aaron and he said he would make it right and we have never heard from him after he came and looked at the windows. We now have to completely replace all the brick molding at our own expense. Very disappointed in their follow through after they were 100% paid.

I had an old house with terrible siding. Shawn gave we an estimate and was right on target. The workers were there early and didn’t quit until it was getting dark. Clean up was great too. No waves in the new siding. I want to use them for the roof next.

The team at Aurum did a nice job, working quickly and getting us the most for our money. They worked with the insurance company to make sure we got everything repaired. After a year, we noticed a small leak coming around the fireplace, they came right out and took care of it without any hassle. I recommended them to our neighbor, who had them replace their roof recently and they were finished in one day!

Work looks good. The roofing crew was fast and efficient. And our field supervisor Jordan was great throughout the entire process.

The communication has been absolutely terrible. We were originally told they would be here at 7am, hours go by and nobody showed. Finally got ahold of someone and was told they wont be coming till their done at someone elses house that they didnt finish the day before. They showed at 2pm and then we were told our roof was going to be finished that day. Well, we needed to go do something so we come back and its a disaster, the huge trailer was left full still directly in front of our garage door so we havent been able to even get in and our roof wasnt even done. Our driveway was a mess and our whole front yard and nobody was here. We told them that the trailed needed to be moved asap and we were told someone was coming to do that. Nobody showed up. Its still right where they left it and they then said theyll be back first thing in the morning to finish the roof. We are extremely unhappy with how the customer service has been. It has felt like they just dont care and its extremely frustrating. We were wanting to get our house sided too but, now we highly doubt we will.

Fast and friendly service. Aaron worked well with the insurance company to get all the hail damage repaired. They got everything upgraded as my house didnt have exterior insulation or water barrier. Aurum is a good company to work with.

It took longer than quoted for them to start on our roof, but once they started they were there everyday until the job was completed. Any things we thought needed attention after the job was completed Aaron was very willing to look at the issue and get it corrected. Under normal circumstances the wait time to start our job would not have been a big deal, but we had an emergency situation. Overall, I would definitely recommend this company.*I recently needed some additional work done on my roof due to some plumbing work (moved a vent pipe), I called Aurum Contracting to see if they could come patch the old hole on my brand new roof and make sure the new one didn’t leak, they came within a couple hours. I was pretty upset about putting a hole in my new roof and patching it in another place, but I can’t even tell anything was done, it looks amazing.

Aurum Contracting replaced the roof and the siding on our house. We had gotten quotes from a number of contractors but Aurum stood out for a couple of reasons. First, their quoted price was very reasonable. They itemized the proposal and did not try to upsell anything. Second, Aurum listened to what we wanted and answered all of our questions. Never was there a high pressure sales pitch. Aaron and his group really took the time to hear us out and crafted a effective plan to address our roof and siding replacement needs. They worked with our insurance company to make certain that the hail damage to our home was covered. This was done in a matter-of-fact way. There was nothing adversarial or aggressive- Aaron is a real professional. Once the crews started working, it was clear that they knew their craft well. Been trying to get the estimate for property that I was in the process of purchasing. Called multiple times and the secretary keeps giving lip service that she would contact the one who did the estimate to give me a call and email estimate to me. Long story short never got estimate nor a return call from Aaron. Wow, and this is a veteran owned company.

Hired Aurum to replace our brick on our house. Our experience so far has been pretty frustrating. Our projected completion date was June 4th. The first day they came to start the project they showed up and half of the material was not there so they rescheduled for when they would have all of the material. They came June 25th, tore off the existing brick which was going great until they realized they were still missing half of the material. (Turns out it wasnt measured properly so they didnt order enough material to start). Now, almost a month later, we are sitting with a house half torn apart with absolutely no idea when it will be finished due to the rest of the stone being backordered. Wish they would have waiting to have all of the material before starting. Not to mention the communication with our project manager has been absolutely terrible. We have had to contact him several times regarding what is going on, when things will be started/completed etc and half of the time do not get a response.Review update: they finished the brick... turns out they put two totally different types of brick on the house which is totally noticeable. When we called to complain, they seemed understanding and said it would be corrected that following week....again never showed up...not even a phone call. Here we are a month later still waiting for the brick to be done properly.The next day, a group of men showed up to start removing shingles on our roof. (We never hired them to do our roof) luckily, we were home and stopped them before they started.Super unhappy with this entire experience. Would not recommend to anyone.

We hired Aurum this summer to complete an exterior renovation of our vacation home, primarily including new siding and versetta stone, repaired windows and doors, new custom deck railing and a new custom patio area with built-in hot tub and landscaping. I was happy to hire Aurum as a veteran-owned business. While the project took longer than expected (not entirely their fault - we had pretty bad weather at times), I am very satisfied with the outcome and also with Aurums willingness to manage everything from soup to nuts (for example, they sub-contracted the landscaping and not only was it well done they took responsibility for it as GC). The owner was also personally involved ensuring that everything was completed to my satisfaction. I would recommend them for similar jobs in the future.
