This review is long overdue. I live out of state--a ten hour drive distance--and had to move my mother with dementia closer to me after the death of her husband. Both my husband and I were still working and the intricacies of dealing with a houseful of belongings and sale of the house were overwhelming. When I decided to go with this company in July, signed papers and handed over the keys I knew it was the right thing to do. They estimated the house would go on the market in October. It did. They estimated the auction sales of her properties would be complete around the same time. They were. And in December of that year it was a done deal. I could not have been happier. Their work helped me and my mom during a difficult time. I have no regrets and highly recommend.

The descriptions of items are accurate. The auctions conducted smoothly and professionally. And the personnel are very professional, accommodating, and enjoyable to deal with!

I have been going to the Beloit Auction for over 40 yrs, started out with my mom. Ive always had a lot of love for Rich his wife and his whole family. Ive lost on selling things there also, but thats a chance that I took, because I understand how autions work, so I cant complain.

This is a very professional and knowledgeable group of people who know how to run an auction and get the most for your money. They keep you informed all along the way and know all the techniques to get the best price for your equipment, furnishing, etc. We had a third party appraisal done and we get very good results based on this appraisal. They also help out the buyers and well as working for the sellers. Very impressed. We had over 500 lots, selling everything from an established restaurant and they sold absolutely everything. Would definitely recommend

I would highly recommend Beloit Auction. David and Rich were great to work with from start to finish when cleaning out and selling my moms furnishings, home and car. They are friendly, professional, helpful and quick to answer questions and emails. The final purchase prices were higher than expected so that was a bonus. Very pleased with our experience!!

I won an item in an online auction that I feel like I got a great deal on. I was extremely satisfied with my experience until I went to pick up my item. The item was exactly as described. While I was paying for my item however I overheard a discussion between two employees. One said to the other, if they only bid one dollar, I will just bid it up.... whhaaaaat. You are allowed to have employees bid your online auctions up? If I had not heard this conversation I would be giving a full 5 stars. If I was not satisfied with the item I purchased I would have only left 1 star. This in my mind brings into question the integrity of your entire operation. Very disappointed to hear this.

I really enjoy working with Rich and Pat at Beloit Auction. I have been both a buyer and seller and have been satisfied in both capacities. I enjoy the anticipation of the hunt, the excitement of the find, and the joy of the winning bid. I usually check out the web site and if I see something desirable I place an absentee bid. Billie Jo is very helpful with that . Ive been very pleased with the auction family.

We have been attending Beloit Auctions regularly for over four years and continue to be pleased with their services. We inspect the items we are interested in and estimate market value before bidding. We routinely go home with items that we are very pleased with as they typically have a diverse inventory to choose from. Although I prefer the live auctions, Beloits online auctions are very easy to work with. We have attended many other auctions in the Wisconsin and Illinois area and Beloit continues to be our favorite. I have read other reviews criticizing that items were sold at too high a price or sellers saying too low. This happens at every auction house. The auction house simply offers the item and if someone wants to pay more or not enough that is their decision, not the auctioneers. Beloit Auctions has always treated us fairly and professionally. I highly recommend them.

I had over 400 items which went up for auction, everything from $1,000.00 adjustable bed which btw sold for $1.50 to paintings , hutches,large foldable pet kennel, full gear hockey equipment, for youth and adult, etc. Well I received payment and it was $438.70. Their %30 was $398.00, the 3 movers that came with the truck to pick everything up at $60.00 an hour, Each, was $698.30. No wonder theyre buying another building, I spent 3 weeks and upteen hours, putting everything together, cleaning each item, organizing everything so it would be easy to load, for basically $400!!! If I knew this ahead of time like anyone reading this will, I would have called Good Will or The Salvation Army and donated everything which they would gladly pick up,and wouldve had close to a $10,000.00 write off!!! Not a bad business they have, they make all the money and you get the scraps.The 3 movers have a pretty good system down. One guy talks to the customer, one sits in the back of the truck and waits to grab whatever the guy gives him,, and one moves whatever you have going to auction. Then the other guy that was moving material to the truck would start talking to the customer and the one that was originally talking to the customer would move a few things to the truck and next thing you know its 5 hours later, youre out a pocket full of cash at $ 60 and hour each, And the %30 they take right off the top before the drivers get their money. What a Waste of time, and money. There wasnt one item that sold for more than $ 12!!! If you really want to get the most money for your items, then I strongly suggest you donate them and use the write off. Its %1000 more money and basically a no brainer. Wish I knew then what I know now.

They are specialists at helping people who are faced with handling an estate, a downsizing or a business liquidation. Auctions are the best way to sell real estate or personal property in a short period of time for the most money possible. They are live auction and internet only auction specialists. Beloit Auction has great people and they do a great job!

Ripped me off royally. Gave them a house full of belongings and antiquities they gave me less then $300 for three couches a kitchen set riding lawn mower snow blower tables chairs tools. They took a 26 penske and filled it. I got $288. Dont give them your belongings to sell they will rip you off.

Its alright ,people way over bid ,Ive been there 4 times and there is a lot of over bidding, ( not do the auction house ) I seen a coke cooler go for $310 even though the same is going for $ 40 on ebay ,I think il buy e bay and let them auction them off...¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿

Wow what a rip off 40 percent fee to sell and a 15 percent buyers fee. Over 50 percent off the sale goes to them

Bought two bikes both broken did not specify that in the ads also bought baseball gloves 4 of the 10 were ripped and torn they forgot to mention that as well I understand it says no warranty on condition but at least tell people what they are buying honestly
