Saw Storm Works Roofing crew on a job. Explained what I needed. He was very honest about what was needed and why. He understood what I needed done at this time. This company was able to do my job the next day when they finished up the other job they were on in the area. They were punctual, tidy, good clean up and the work was good quality. I was very impressed with the entire process and work.

Storm Works Roofing crew replaced our roof in one day. Noise and disruption were surprisingly low. Lots of tarps to protect the surroundings. Very efficient and quiet crew, no yelling or loud radio playing. Cleanup was thorough and extremely well done, no garden or deck damage. I would highly recommend this company. Original Post: 8/4We called Storm Works on a recommendation from a friend. Mary was great to talk to on the phone and Gordy came out the next day to view our house and talk about work to be done. The next week Sean came out to give a second opinion and help get together an estimate. Both Sean and Gordy we on time for the appointments and seemed very knowledgeable. Sean told us it would take about a week to have an estimate ready. That was on April 26th and we have never received even an estimate. We have called the office numerous times and left countless messages and no one has gotten back to us. I am thankful that we actually dont have issues with our house and were only looking for upgrades because I would hate to have a leaky roof and have an unresponsive contractor - or maybe thats the only time this company does respond?! Lost a customer here!UPDATED 8/10Since posting my review we have received calls daily from Gordy following up on our estimate. We have finally received our estimate for our roof and siding. Not sure if we will be moving forward at this time.

Storm Works Roofing did an amazing job. From the quoting process to their whole team finishing the job to perfection, we had a fabulous experience with these guys. We had a significant portion of our roof redone (right to the plywood replacement), soffit and fascia were updated and replaced, we had new siding added, and finally we had new eaves troughs and downspouts installed. The work was done quickly, cleanly, and as quietly as a roofing job could be.

Storm Works provided a roof replacement for our large condo building. The work was scheduled very quickly and completed efficiently. Storm Works was fast, efficient, and friendly. They repaired roof shingles that had blown off during a storm and caused a leak, and the lead flashing around the chimney that had been damaged by squirrels. A recent wind storm (March 1, 2021) resulting in a fallen tree damaging our roof ended up requiring an entire roof replacement. While working on a roof in my neighborhood, I saw them working. I am usually very skeptical about these kind of things, but for its convenience, I decided to give it a try. It turned out to be one of the best business decisions I have ever made.

These guys know the correct way to install roofs and solve problems and they are thorough. They are the only roofer that got on the roof to look for problems before giving me my quote. They explained things that needed to be corrected and listened to my ideas. Their price was competitive. They answered my questions and incorporated changes as ideas came up. Strip and install was done in a day with good cleanup. Easy to work with. Recommended to me by the roofing manufacturer. I know they took no short cuts.

After a heavy rainstorm made our roof start leaking, my wife and I were panicking about what to do. It was night-time but we left a message with Storm Works saying we urgently needed help. Within 5 minutes Sean (the owner) had called us back and scheduled a time to view the property the next day. He is very easy to work with and we immediately felt relieved once we started working with him. Our roof was leaking on a Monday night and we had a brand new roof put on by Friday of that same week. It was an impeccable turnaround time and the quality of the work was excellent. We also had our dormers repaired, gutters/downspouts replaced, and chimney cap installed. Were thrilled with all of it. Storm works does more than just roofs and were planning to use them for many other projects on the exterior of our home. Very highly recommend this company!

We hired Storm Works to come and replace our garage roof and gutters after some damage from a tree down earlier in the spring. They were very responsive and came and completed the job in one day. The estimate was very detailed and clearly outlined all the work to be done. Although on the higher end of our estimates (still within range for the area) we went ahead with the work and the professionalism and detail to getting the job done properly really was exceptional. Someone even came two days later to inspect the job and do additional clean up leaving our driveway and yard cleaner than before they started.

Outstanding roofing job. It looks beautiful. Very professional and easy to work with. Superb job cleaning up after themselves with equipment and strategies to ensure there arent nails hidden in our yard.One caveat... The roofing project was delayed by a month for a variety of (reasonable) reasons, however it was difficult to communicate with the company during this time to get a date nailed down. Post-roof it was also difficult to get a hold of anyone to schedule a (tree-damage) roof repair.

Professional and quality work

We live in Arlington, MA. In early August our roof developed a leak. We hired a number of roofers to try to repair the roof. The repairs didnt work and the only choice was to replace the roof. I contacted about 8 roofing companies and Storm Works was one of them. I got quotes from all these roofers and the price varied greatly. I could have hired one of the less expensive roofers but decided to hire Sean Green, owner of Storm Works, because of the thorough inspection he did of the entire roof and with photos showing us all the defects of the workmanship of the previous roofer. In addition, we read all the stellar reviews from others who had hired Sean and decided to give him the job. Absolutely no regrets. Sean Green at Storm Works did an excellent job. EDIT 12/1/2020: The owner has responded to say they never heard from me. This is a lie. I have attached a picture of my call log.I called Storm Works about a leak in my roof. I was asked to provide a lot of information including my email and told someone would call me. I waited until about 4:00, did not receive a call back so I called again and explained that I was quite concerned about the leak as a storm was coming in and all I wanted was an idea of when I could expect to hear from them. The receptionist told me they were actually just a phone service, did not have access to a schedule, but would pass along that info and ask someone from Storm Works to call me with an estimated timeline. Note that at this point, Im only asking them to call me to tell me when they might call me again to talk about my roof. So it doesnt seem like much to ask for! However I never heard back. Because I wasted the day waiting for Storm Works I did not have someone else lined up and when it rained later the leak caused more damage to my house.It has been several days now and I still havent heard from Storm Works. I called another roofing company where a person who actually worked for the company immediately answered and agreed to come look at my roof the next day. I am really irritated that I had to provide so much information including my email to Storm Works (which Im sure they will use to spam me with ads) when they did not even give me the courtesy of calling to say they were not going to be able to help me.If you urgently need a roofer I recommend you move on and do not waste your time and frustrate yourself by calling this place.

I had an excellent experience working with Storm Works! Sean was very responsive throughout the whole process -- from the initial temporary repair through the full roof replacement. Two particular things to note: First, it was extremely helpful to have someone from Storm Works involved when working with the insurance adjuster to make sure the claim was appropriately filed. Second, the Storm Works team replaced my entire roof in one day, starting at 7 am and finishing at about 5:30 pm. They were incredibly diligent about ensuring that my plants werent damaged during the removal process and that all of the nails and little bits of shingle were carefully removed after the job was completed. They even placed my deck furniture back exactly as they found it. Overall, a very high quality job!

Storm Works did an awesome job replacing my roof! I had 3 companies give me estimates. Sean is the only one who came to my house and climbed on my roof to measure and see it. He therefore was also the only one to know I have 4 sun tunnels. (The other guys use satellite photography that doesn’t show them) He was very patient and supportive in helping me choose a shingle. He came over and nailed several samples up on the roof so I could see them in different sun light. I also have custom made gutters that were rotting and leaking. Sean was the only one to say he could replace them! He built new ones exactly like the originals only in PVC so they won’t rot! The crew was very nice, they worked hard for two very long days to get it done and they did a great job cleaning up. The roof looks great!I would have chosen Storm Works even if they had been the most expensive due to the gutter situation but amazingly he was the least expensive! Bonus!!!!!

There were a lot of fast talkers out there and Sean told me what to expect and delivered in a professional and efficient manner. The materials were of a 1st class quality and his team customized them to the complexity of my roof which included chimneys, dormers and a tricky pitch. Sean and the StormWorks team were great. We recently purchased our home and wanted to have a new roof put on quickly, ahead of the winter weather. Sean did the roof and trim on my new house. He was prompt with his responses, met at the house and gave me an estimate quickly. He also provided me with some options and advised on what would go well in the event we also wanted to redo the siding. We decided on GAF shingles in the Pewter Gray for the roof. He also did a lot of window trim and fascia/rake with PVC. With the closing date moving a few times, Sean was patient in starting the work and it was done very quickly. Clean up was excellent and I could not tell they had been there. The house looked great and while we had hoped to do the siding sooner, we have decided to wait and will certainly use Storm Works again when it comes time.

My roof got damaged due to strong winds. I reached out to Sean as he was recommended by my neighbor. There was another storm coming in a day so it was urgent. Sean came promptly and did the temporary repair work right away. He also recommended that the whole roof be replaced as it was damaged and not installed correctly. He came and spoke with the adjuster of my insurance company and handled all the insurance paperwork. He completed the job in a day and also took care of the dumpster. He was professional, punctual and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him and his team.

Our house has a small sunroom attached that I use as a home office. About once a year there was a big enough rain storm that we would get some water dripping inside. Last year it started getting worse, so I called several places looking for an estimate. Many roofing firms wouldnt even talk to me when they found out this was a smaller job. Storm Works was happy to come and they provided a reasonable estimate for the work. We were happy enough with their estimate and their willingness to take on a smaller job that we decided to have our main roof done as well. Sean from Storm Works was responsible and communicative throughout the process. They did great work and were obviously concerned about the quality of the work and their relationship with the customer. I highly recommend them for your roofing projects.

High quality of work. Flexible contractor. I needed roof work, gutters and downspouts. I also needed ventilation fans for three bathrooms (this was an older house), and I needed GFIs put in all baths and the kitchen. Storm Works took on the entire bundle of work, including pulling in the electrician.

Phenomenal. I brought Storm Works in for a quote on a new roof, soffits & vents + an update to my rake & facia boards. They were my second quote and they came in with a lot more value and a lot more ideas on how to best update my home. Did you know that PVC board is an alternative to aluminum or vinyl enclosing trim? I did not. What a great option. It looks great & zero maintenance. He also EXCLUDED from the quote a whole redo of my gutters - why? Because in his honest assessment they did not need to be replaced! That saved me enough money to upgrade to the PVC option! THEN they did a top-notch job on the install. The roof was installed in a day! The soffits, rake & fascia were installed soon thereafter. Definitely using them on my next project. You should too.
