These guys are the best. They are totally consistent, same perfect hair cut each time. Great atmosphere.

Professional barbers. My barber ran a few minutes late. I respect him taking a minute to let me know. He did not compromise his service to the customer before me. The cut was great and I received a few compliments on it. Definitely worth the price. He followed up with the customer behind me with the same respect. I will go again. If you are in a time crunch It may be worth it to call to make sure your barber is on schedule. Overall great experience!

This is the place to go. I have been using Barbers Den for years, and embarrassed that I didnt leave a review prior. I started having the owner Evan cut my hair and he has never disappointed. I currently use Andrew for my hair (due to COVID restrictions no beard work is done). Again, never a complaint. It is easy to schedule a visit and they are always on point about timing. I have used them for walk in previously but would recommend an appointment.

Everything about this place is exactly what you want in a haircut experience. I worked with Shane today, and he was extremely personable and periodically checking with me throughout the cut he made sure that this is what I wanted, without being overbearing. The balance between attention to detail and providing for a great overall experience is something that separates them from the rest of guys out there. Will be coming back.

Barber Andrews tattoos are so dreamy. Quality control over my head while giving me the best service I have received in my many years. But the realest thing I can say is that this shop would be nothing without barber GILBERT. He really pulls it all together and makes it one big happy family! You guys rock! ~

These guys are great. They are relaxed, good mannered, and make the environment welcoming. Sign up online for your appointments. Both people I have seen cut with precision and care about the outcome. They are not in a rush to their next appointment. Offer neck shaves. The place is also dog friendly so you are able to bring your dog with you. Enjoy

Combovercrook helps me go from Tom cruise to brad Pitt. Combovercrook is GOAT. Gilbert in the back giving out the freshest Mohawk I have ever seen. Love my man Garyn he is a mature wise man beyond his years. Andrews neck tats are dreamy and his voice could put a crying baby to sleep. Ev on the thrown still making people look incredible. I always receive an exceptional haircut at Barbers Den. Gil is my usual barber and he always takes the extra time provide me with the best service. Super friendly, talented, and amazing at putting together the jumbled mess that is the description of how I want my haircut. The barbers here I would argue are truly artists, they treat every customer as another opportunity to create a work of art. That might sound corny but Ive honestly never witnessed such a large crew of people take this much passion in their work.

First time here and couldn’t have been happier with my experience. I had an appointment with Gavin, and got the haircut I wanted while enjoying good conversation and music. Impressed with their seamless setup despite COVID-19 adjustments. Forehead temperature check at entry (no indoor waiting) and masks required for customers and staff, who also wear gloves. Same friendliness despite the difficulties.

Ive been going to the Den since late 2015 (Belmont) and book Evan or Pete. For some reason it never dawned on me to drop them a review, they definitely deserve more than five stars. I recently went to the Somerville location and received a dynamite cut from Evan. Top shelf barbers.

Been getting my haircut from Steve for the past three years at least. Steve is always friendly and remembers both the style I like as well as whatever we were talking about the last time I came in!Theres a lot of fun banter between the barbers and the customers as well. Highly recommend.

The husband goes here and always comes back looking better than when he left. Going in, wasnt sure what I wanted. Had been growing out hair to donate for quite a while and didnt know if I should get it cut and what I could do with the hair thats left or trim the ends, get it healthy and then donate. Also wanted to get my beard trimmed up. Worked with Garin, who was great. Very helpful and informative, friendly and professional. Specifically picked him because somewhere on the website he said he liked working with men with long hair. He also saved me money cause I dont know what I was doing and booked a longer appointment, but I didnt need it, so he charged me for a shorter one.

The Barbers Den Belmont is the first barbershop I ever set foot upon after years and years of going to chains like Supercuts. The cuts are generally more than I like to spend on myself but I feel like theyre worth it and I like supporting a neighborhood shop. Business must be good because I schedule my next cut as soon walk out the door after one. Evans an awesome guy - has a real down-to-earth personality and seems like the sort of guy who cant be ruffled. Hes always great at listening to what I want and is always inclined to personalize a haircut for me - I trust him with my head. The shop is beautiful and the rest of the guys all seem to really love what they do and learn from each other. Keep up the good work, fellas!

The people there are great and are really friendly. Not only that, but this is most probably the absolute best barbars shop I have ever been to, and I will continue going here as much as I can. I would strongly recommend getting a haircut here.

Went with Dayna for a cut when he wasnt available Scheduled in advance for 2p, waited 40 min for the cut without acknowledgment that this was weird (ultimately waited over an hour). The next people came in with kids and had to wait too. Completely unacceptable.Later that day, Barbers Den texted me mentioning a hold up in my appointment time. I asked for a refund, given that it was a 75 min hold up, but they never responded to my request.

My barber was Steve and I think he did a really good job, especially helped me with some of my questions and cared about the haircut.

Came in and no one greeted me. I sat down for 30 minutes with none of the barbers saying hello or anything. Finally after half an hour I asked one of them “what’s the waiting time?” And he told me that all of his barbers are booked even thought 5/6 barbers were chilling on their phones! He said I had to reschedule and they don’t prefer walk ins. I understand but I didn’t come there to spectate so it was very rude and selfish for all 6 men to just ignore me while I sit on the couch like an idiot for nothing and wasted my time. In the end the twerp said “yeah whatever “ honesty he had the most punchable face. DONT reccomend. Unless u bring a shirt that says I’m here for a haircut so they know what ur in a barbershop for. Just shows how they are not ambitious for money because they are already overcharging everyone and have good customer flow.Screw you guys.

I was disappointed with this place because they advertise on their website the length of time they will take for haircut.They write 25 to 45 mins, but the barber just worked on my hair less than 10 mins and the result was horrible.In addition this place is very over priced for a 10 minute lousy result.I wont ever go back.
