This place does amazing work. BUT you can’t get Yr car worked on in a timely manner. It’s like pulling teeth. Every time I go there it’s 3 days later they can take my car. Very SLOW SERVICE. I need my car fixed now not later. Very frustrating. What shop tells u come back in 3 days. That makes you want to find someone else to do the work.

I am very impressed by the team over at David Tau automotive, and they did an excellent job. I had them regear my Jeep JK Wrangler from stock gears to Yukon 4.88 gear ratio. David and team were very experienced with this and did a great job helping me make decisions about the right parts and install. They went above and beyond regular customer support here. They were the first ever mechanic shop to call me after I picked up the vehicle to see if I was happy with the repair. Therefore, I would highly recommend them for any vehicle repairs. And, for those Jeepers out there that are doing lifts and larger tires, this shop knows how to rebuild axle gears. Thanks David and Team for the service and customer experience.

This place is what I would personally consider to be one of those hidden treasures in Pensacola! I have a older Ford Ranger and needed someone to do some work on the transmission about six months ago. I looked all around and priced many different five star places, but then I came across this place from a series of crazy events and I am so glad I did! This place is owned and operated by all family.That being said, the moment I walked through their doors they were nothing but very helpful and polite. So if you need any type of mechanical, electrical, and pretty much any type of work done on a car or truck, please go to these people and tell them I sent you!-[[UPDATED AUG 2, 2021]]-We dropped off my Ford Ranger here again for a fuel pump problem this time...lolAnd AS ALWAYS the owner and all employees that were there were right off the bat extremely friendly, very helpful, and all acted like we had been old friends for a long time! To my wife and myself, this is a very refreshing thing to see especially in this day and age for a business!But they got the problem fixed in a very short time(EVEN THOUGH HE WAS VERY BUSY) David didnt hesitate to accept our business and do the job for more then a reasonable amount! David is the owner of this automobile repair shop. After taking my truck to Firestone for not starting, Firestone technicians could not find a solution. After speaking with David he had my vehicle towed from Firestone to his shop and was able to diagnose my problem the same day as well as having my truck running again. With so many dirty mechanics out there, David has such integrity and skills that we all wish to find at an automobile repair shop

Did exactly what he said he was going to do in the time that he said he was going to do it. Thats how I roll.       I appreciate it when someone treats me this way.  he also did the job for 1/4 the price I was quoted elsewhere. Most likely because he had the knowledge to repair the part and not just replace it.
