I have had shoes repaired here in the past and the work was great. However, 4 and a half weeks ago I brought in a pair of ankle boots for a heel replacement. I was given a timeline of 2 to 3 weeks. At 2 weeks I was told it would be 2 more weeks, at 4 weeks I was told it would be another 2 weeks. When I complained they had been at the shop for a month already, I was told the beginning of next week instead. I called when I was told they would be ready(at 4.5 weeks) and was told they hadnt even gotten near those numbers yet and it would be another 2 weeks. If you are a month and a half behind I find it really unprofessional to keep taking more work without telling the client the kind of wait they are in for.

My favorite boots had cheap heels so they replaced and filled them with new rubber/leather. You can see where it was cut and glued but not a big deal to me, they look fine and work like new! Nice people, good work, and a decent price. :)

I was looking to replace the buckles on my monk strap shoes for my wedding. I initially took my shoes to a cobbler in Seattle while I was down there. I was super disappointed in the outcome at the Seattle cobbler. I should have gone to Sandy and Vale’s in the first place. The outcome was remarkable. The buckles are absolutely beautiful and my shoes were polished and ready for the big day. This will be my first stop for any cobbler needs in the future.

A dieing art form but shoe repair is so valuable. In this world of disposable as able everything this shop is a gem. It can take years to make a pair of shoes into slippers so to lose a stitch or a sole can be devastating. Sandy and Vales helps us get the full value from our footwear. Masters of their work!

The leather heal wrap on my fish wader boots had become completely delaminated and I figured theyre unrepairable. I took a chance and as told in one week my boots are better than new. I couldnt believe how well the repair was done and the leather is the last that will ever fail now! I asked how much and he said $12! I realize no material except adhesive and time but only $12? I said no way and youre way under charging. I gave em $20 which was still a great deal for fixing $200 boots! Thank You!

They resoled my Birkenstocks, treated the cork and even cleaned them up for me. The sandals look good as new, they were ready when promised, and the price was comparable to other places I checked. I would recommend Sandy and Vales without hesitation. Thanks again for the skilled work!

Took my birks in because they broke very quickly and they fixed the broken strap and also the underlying design issue - in less than a week and as promised. I havent used a cobbler before and I highly recommend this shop.

Great cobbler. He has resoled a pair of sandles I boigbo years ago in Spain as well as my leather loafers that I thought were beyond repair. They were done when promised. Will be back.

Ive used Sandy and Vales for years. They have good pricing, great craftmanship, and reasonable turn around time!

He takes random breaks throughout the day so he may be closed when an undisclosed amount of time while he sits in his car in front of the store and watches you wait. Finally when he does decide to go to work your shoes may not be ready as promised. I cant recommend this establishment.

If you cant (or just dont want to) take a repair, please dont. It was supposed to be done a week ago, but wasnt (after almost a month of having them). Said theyd be done later in that day, but came back a week later and still not fixed 🤷‍♀️
