Derek and Nicole & their GM deserve 5 stars for professionalism and detail-oriented skills. They personally came by on a short notice to completely restore the look of our hardwood floors and deep clean our place. They were super nice and tended to every deep-clean needs we had! Their company name is also very catchy, 10/10 would recommend to a friend or colleague👌

They complete jobs efficiently, stand behind their work, and accommodate the urgency required by unit turns. They are very flexible and consistently professional. Does not pay employees on time. Paychecks are declined at bank due to lack of funds in employers account. Inconsistent schedule. Supplies are rarely on hand get the job done. Employees are told to take shortcuts with accounts. There is no solid communication at. all. 0/10 recommended

Derek is an amazing human. He literally saved my house from burning down with my dog inside. He smelled smoke and heard fire alarms and walked the two blocks to Investigate. My next door neighbors both heard it, but Derek took the time to care. He followed up on a situation that had an enormous impact on my familys life. Before this meeting we didnt know each other but that didnt stop Derek from walking us through the steps needed to cleanup after some major smoke damage. Within minutes of the firemen leaving, in the middle of the night, Derek was there with large industrial fans to air out the place overnight. First thing in the morning he was there with special cleaning products to specifically deal with protein smoke and an ozone generator for the final cleaning step. He did all of this for free. He did it because he said it was the neighborly thing to do. Derek is a guy who can be trusted to do the right thing. Not because anybodys watching, he does it because hes a good guy. I would not think twice about hiring a guy like this who runs his own business. Thanks, Derek!

I needed a move-out cleaning on next-day notice, and when searching I found that many cleaning companies in Bellingham dont really have a mechanism for communicating an urgent need. I called about ten places and most of them went straight to voicemail. Stop Drop & Clean went to voicemail too, but their online work request form listed 1-day and 2-day needs as selectable options, so I figured I had a good chance of getting the cleaning done in time. The form was great, because it gave me the expectation that I would be replied to promptly.Nicole (the co-owner) indeed got back to me very quickly, and we had an appointment set up. The next morning, two of the SDC crew (Gracie and I think the other one was named Lindsay) showed up right on-time, and texted me (as I had requested) so that I could go over to the property and let them in.They texted me again before they finished (so that I could come back, inspect their work, and lock the place up), and they ended up running a little late on their estimate, but when they were ready I came in and they had done an OUTSTANDING job. Everything was spotless. I was very impressed. I approved the work and gave them a tip. I got the impression that people dont tip them often. Please, folks, if somebody sweats for you, offer them a tip! Working-class folks work very hard!Then I drove down to the SDC corporate office to pay my bill. I met the general manager Derek, and the price turned out to be very reasonable, especially given the short notice. I was very pleased with the whole process.If I had to name any ways my experience with SDC could have been improved, its two things:1) I didnt know what I would be paying until I actually showed up to pay my bill. Nicole had me name a maximum price during the initial e-mail, and instead I gave her an estimate of what I imagined it would cost, which she agreed with. And thats what it ended up costing, more or less exactly. But Im always a little nervous when Im doing business with a company for the first time and Im not told up front what Ill be paying in terms of the hourly rate and any special fees. They seemed quite trustworthy, so I went with my gut, and it turned out to be a good bet.2) It took an extra day for me to get a receipt / invoice, even though I had requested one when I paid. Honestly, thats probably my only complaint from the whole process, but its not enough to knock off a star from the rating. On the plus side, once the invoice showed up it was entirely accurate and included detailed descriptions of what was cleaned, and even featured pictures! Very professional, and helpful for my own bookkeeping purposes.Overall, SDC did outstanding work on extremely short notice. The price was completely fair. Nicole was prompt in her e-mails at every step. The cleaning crew were awesome and they really know their stuff. Derek and the office assistant were cool too.I highly recommend Stop Drop & Clean, especially if you have a short-notice need!

SD&C cleaned our house for years, and always provided great service, attention to detail, and a sparkly house to come home to. Their prices were very reasonable, and we would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to free up time for things other than cleaning.

I watched SDC clean brand new million dollar units at Semiahmoo and Ive seen how their team works in unison to get construction/commercial janitorial jobs done quickly. Ive also interviewed the owners on their process for assuring healthy cleans for business, and their clean audits are proven to keep your business healthier for clients and employees.

Company is Uninformed about employee status, driving from job to job without car insurance employees need a better system and the company failed to pay wages owed.

Do not believe the 5 star rating...This company is unprofessional and will likely over charge you, not complete the job, and overall not a positive experience to deal with.

They are the best people you would like to work with. They care that your security is always there to help you with whatever you need.
