Justin was patient and firm with my young one. He engaged with him and helped him even when he wasnt focusing on what needed to get done. He was patient in that he knew what sized bike my son needed, but was more than willing to let him try out other smaller bikes, simply because he wanted to. I was very pleased with the service. TAKE YOUR BIKE ELSEWHERE FOR REPAIRSBrought bike in for front hub over haul. Said they fixed the problem, rode the bike 1/8th of a mile and the front hub still felt loose (clicking noise). Took the bike to REI the next day to get a second opinion. the hub axle was half cracked! If they literally did an overhaul wouldnt they have noticed it??Additionally, their inventory and order capabilities are limited to TREK and sub-brand TREK owns.

Great selection of kids bikes. Price seems reasonable. Trek bikes for kids fit them well and are age-appropriate.

Had too much fun and busted my rear wheel. Tech took care of it right away, out the door in 20 minutes. Nice job!

We were so pleased with our experience at Trek Bicycle Bellingham! My kids were in need of new bikes, and the staff helped us find what we were looking for--Marlin 5s for all three. My kids were impressed with the front suspension and styling and I was happy about the reasonable price for such quality bikes. When we went to pick up the bikes, Andy was so great in getting us set up with bottle cages, kickstands, locks, and he even convinced my 9 year old how important it is to wear a helmet. I will certainly recommend Trek Bicycle Bellingham to friends and family!

They performed the work i wanted done, made adjustments to my component, unexpectedly finished the work faster than i thought, they were some pretty cool dudes, and i dont even own a Trek bicycle i own a Cannondale. they even complimented me on the odd setup of my rig and some of my custom work and vintage components.

The folks at Trek Bellingham provided me with a pleasant new bike day experience from the moment I walked in the door. New store, new management, full on epic. Went in on Saturday and rented a demo bike. Greeted by the most friendly staff and they had me dialed in on a steed in about 10 minutes after walking in. If you are looking to test out some top-tier Treks and want some expert knowledge about all the bikes Trek carries, I would HIGHLY recommend popping into this new establishment.

Update May 18, 2020I love the bike but hate what has happened to this store. Due to gross corporate mismanagement from the bean counters and MBAs at Trek, the great crew that was so helpful are all gone.The manager who is a great guy quit a month ago and has not been replaced. Subsequently mechanics and some staff have quit as well.There is no manager, no mechanic, no one to service my expensive bike. I am now an orphan and not at all happy about it.Kulshan cycles has been a Bellingham icon and great community resource for 40 years. Trek Corporate bought them out and has reduced the shop to pathetic and useless in two short years.Well see if they can recover. After having repeated poor experiences with Earls Bike Shop, I took my xtracycle to the Trek dealer for service because I thought it needed warranty work on the Bosch motor, and theyre a Bosch dealer. They were a little baffled by why I was bringing the bike to them, but played along in a friendly manner. They got the bike in the next day and turned it around the following day (vs. Earls not being able to get me in for three weeks). It turned out not to he a Bosch issue - just some routine maintenance that was needed. And, they did a bang-up job with a great attitude all along the way. Great experience.

The employee that helped us made it a positive experience for our young son, who had been nervous about riding before. He guided us to the right bike for him, and now our son is really excited about riding!

We drove 260 miles R/T to Bellingham Trek on July 3rd to purchase a Dual Sport 3 womens Medium bike. The staff was great and they are now trying to help me locate the same bike in a Small for my other daughter. The Tacoma store 10 miles away has been just the opposite to deal with. I would also like to give Olympia Trek a shout out because they located the bike in Bellingham for me.Love all the guys at both locations!

The service was really stellar at the Trek bike shop in Bellingham. It was a very busy Saturday when I first came in and was greeted right away and the staff was helpful while helping other customers. In Bellingham, thats very seldom the case in most retail shops. The staff was super friendly and approachable. I came back on Sunday morning, things were quieter and there were different staff members working in the shop, but still the same great service and friendly atmosphere.

Quick and friendly service, willing to find the exact model, size and color of bike we were looking for, no pressure of up-selling. Friendly staff and great all around bike buying experience!

The people helping us yesterday, 11/17/2019 around 11:00 am (dont know their names) were super helpful and very nice. Both of the guys working seemed to go well out of their way to help us. My wife and I left the shop feeling very welcome and satisfied with the service. I will definitely be coming back and did tell my buddies about the shop.

Simply, it was a great experience and our daughter is in love with her new bike. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They have answered all our questions (trust me, we were very “curious”!) and helped us select the best possible option for our daughter’s first MTB. Finally, they were nice enough to come out and help us load the bike into our car. All in all, TTB is a great place to shop, especially if you are looking for an informative and up-selling-free shopping experience, tailored specifically to you.

I called a LOT of bike shops from Bellingham, south to Portland, trying to find an XL frame in a hardtail.Most stores would answer with Sorry, I dont have any XL frames. Good luck. and that would be the end of the conversation. But not with Kevin from Trek Bicycle Bellingham. He asked if I wanted to put my name on one of the bikes that was already ordered and arriving in the store in about a month. No strings attached. If I found a bike, hed just remove my name and sell it to someone else. This friendly service is much appreciated!I just got off the phone with Kevin to let him know I found a bike. Expected more. Awkward vibe and poor customer service. The list of failures we experienced on many visits is disheartening and will be the reason we avoid in the future.

The staff was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. I havent been on a bike in over 10 years and I never felt judged or embarrassed. The staff member even showed me simple things like the proper way to get on and off the bike, etc. and I never felt belittled. Excellent service and I cant wait to get riding!

The whole Trek team is fantastic! My bike had been stored up for two years, and now that Im moving to another state I needed it spruced and tuned. From the initial consultation of what was needed, offering me a ride home when there was a slight delay, and down to making sure it was 110% before I left with my Lucy - - I could not have asked for more. Brought the Verve+ in to Bellingham Trek because I had thrown the chain twice in the last three days. Likely my own fault. The Verve+ is so smooth, I neglected basic maintenance and let the chain get grimy to the point that it was stiff. I cleaned and oiled the chain myself before brought it in. They checked the bike out and did the basic bolt tightening that I would have done myself if I had not been in lala land. (See below.) Might have been the bolts, might have been the dirty chain. Both times the chain threw, I was tired and had kicked up the assist. Ive learned there is a knack to using those upper ranges effectively. They tend to give you a big shoves which release tension on the chain. If you happen to be shifting during a shove and your chain is stiff, the shift can be messy. I think thats what caused my throws, but it might have been general slop from loose bolts. I was at about 180 miles when I brought it in. Ive put on 25 miles since then without a hitch. And I tried to repro the throws.Ive been a bicycle rider all my life. Ive commuted by bike in Chicago, the Seattle eastside, and Whatcom County. Im no athlete and was never a great rider, but steady, averaging 80-100 miles a week for years.Im nearly 70 and the last 15 years have not been wonderful for riding-- a congenital heart condition got serious and profoundly limited my stamina and osteo clamped down every joint I can think of. So my bike started to gather dust. Last February, with the urging of a friend, I rode the Cascade SR99 Tunnel Ride. Too historic to pass up. I made it. Barely. But it reminded me how much I enjoying riding, and I noticed a lot of people on electrics.So I researched. Im a Trek rider-- bought my first Trek (a 420) from Kulshan 35 years ago-- and decided the Verve+ was the bike for me. All I can say is that it certainly is. It has RELIEVED the osteo. I guess it is the endorphins, but a ten mile ride relieves knee, shoulder, wrist, and hip pain more than any analgesic or physio Ive done. The electric assist keeps my heart rate low enough that I dont get into cardio issues. (Yes. Ive discussed this with my cardiologist.) All together, a great deal. And the Bellingham Trek crew is wonderful.

Joseph was able to help me quickly address a pesky shifting issue i was having on a Wahoo Kickr. He was very professional, super easy to talk to and communicated clearly about timelines and possible issues that could be causing the problems.
