I love the Sola concept. Each stylist/ owner has their own space. With their business name and a glass front window! My stylist Sharon does my hair there.

Studio fresh was where I had my appointment. Teresa was wonderful she really listens to you and cuts great!

Called Nataliya to let her know im running few mins late for my appointment and her reply was “ hmm why dont you just cancel then”.. very unprofessional.. no introduction of her name or anything when picking up phone.. was gonna get my hair done here first time but glad i didnt go in

Tracy was so nice!! My daughter and I felt so satisfied with the cut and the customer service. I also really love the space and privacy of the individual rooms.

Cool idea for individual salons in one area. Little rooms with privacy, also safer for health reasons during our current Covid-19 restrictions

Danielle P. Is outstanding. I went to her a year ago after several people destroyed my hair. She is hands down the best at what she does. She is thorough, professional, knowledgeable, personable, actually listens to what you want and are trying to achieve. I am so grateful to have her as my stylist. I am very very very picky and like a hard very icy platinum blonde and she is the only stylist I’ve found (I’ve been through my fair share) that can get me to the light color I want. Ive been working at Sola Salons for about 3 months now and I absolutely love it here! I love having my own private studio and my clients love it here too! The studios are very nice, new, and everything is top of the line. The owner, Nick Foster, is great! Hes always on it right away if you need anything and is always there to help you in any way to help you succeed in your business. I love it so much here that I convinced my daughter to work here too. Her studio is right across from mine. Its a great bunch of stylists working here at Sola Salons, I couldnt be happier!

Lindy knows how to cut curly hear! She gives great advice on style changes and does a wonderful job with color. Love my streaks of color!

Sola has been a God send for me. It gave me an opportunity to get out a situation that was no longer serving me financially or mentally! There is truly no stress with the Sola set up. One flat rate per week makes it easy to budget, the space is clean and modern and Nick is great with helping us promptly if situations arise. Going from a owning a larger scale salon to having my private space at Sola has given me more freedom to dedicate time to myself and my family AND all my AMAZING clients love the new location as it’s centrally located. It’s a win win all around :)

This salon is beautiful. The attention to detail is clear in all of the studios I walked past on the way to my service. It was easy to get to and tons of parking. I will be a repeat customer for sure and feel good about supporting small business owners rather than one large corporate salon.

I get my bikini waxes from Drops of Bliss PNW. I Love this boutique. Shannon is wonderful! She is very good at what she does. I am always pleased with her services. I highly recommend her. Ive been getting spa services for 35 years. She is by far my favorite.

Run fast! Nick the owner is not an honorable man and could care less about you and your business. He gave me less then a week to vacate my studio not because I failed on paying rent. Loves to talk about being your own boss but also loves to micro manage. Hes super disrespectful to your clients. He’s built quite the reputation for himself there (obviously not a good one) and I know multiple stylist there that will not be renewing there lease with him.

Hannah West with Spruced Hair is the only reason to go to Sola. She is magic when it comes to doing hair! Shes always gives me exactly what Im looking for, whether its mermaid blue, blonde, or brown. 12 out of 10 recommend!

After my stylist recently moved out of state, I was scrambling to find a new stylist to entrust with my hair. I have brown hair and have had issues in the past with highlights looking too brassy and was anxious to have to repeat the dreaded stylist search process. Ive also been a salon studio customer for several years and will never go back to a traditional salon -I LOVE the studio concept where Im not bothered by other stylists of other customers.After following the work of Tyler, from Parkway Modern Salon, on Sola Bellinghams Instagram account over the last 6 months, I decided to take the plunge and made an appointment. I explained my past color issues with Tyler as well as what else I was looking for with this haircut/color: easier long-term color maintenance and a less harsh grow-out. Tyler patiently listened, brainstormed a few options, walked me through a few photos online in an effort to collaboratively set the vision before diving in.I could not be happier with the results! If youre someone who colors your hair on a regular basis, you know how important stylist fit is - they could be a hair magician, but it they drive you crazy for the 2.5+ hours youre in the chair, its not going to be a long term fit. Tyler not only achieved all of my hair goals, he was easy to talk to, personable and incredibly knowledgeable. The salon was comfortable, had great lighting and a high-end aesthetic. Having come from a different salon studio concept, I much prefer the Sola design/aesthetic - its bright, open and inviting with glass and metal, as opposed to the heavy, dark wood of my previous salon studio, where it was routinely a challenge to really check the final color.Already looking forward to my next visit to see Tyler!

I have been a stylist for over 25 years. I love my career and my clients! Sola Salon Studios is perfect for me at this point in my career. What I love most is the private Studio decorated in my own style and colors. Sola in Bellingham is beautiful, kept clean and ran very professionally. The other stylist there are some of the top in Bellingham. Nick the owner is very kind and professional and looks out for the interest of all stylist and the success of their businesses. Could not be happier!!!!!

Love this place! Comfortable, private and friendly services. Each Technician/ Stylist/ Esthetician has their own private studio. Shannon Suhr was awesome! Very cool and welcoming vibe. I purchased a Groupon for 3 Brazilian waxes. Let me tell you she was thorough and gentle. Im very pleased and silky smooth (so my hub says 😉). Sorry cant share photos. 😁 Ill be going to Shannon from here on out!

I recently started my own business inside of the Sola Studios, here in bellingham. I spent about 7 months mulling over whether or not I was brave enough to make the plunge and suggested to my mom that she check it out, as she was looking for a more independent environment to work in. I went with her to her walk through and was able to meet Nick (the owner) in person and vicareously recieve information about the setup of Sola, while with her. After leaving I felt so at peace for my mom and excited about this new opportunity for her. Nick is so kind, generous and helpful with all the start-up features he includes upon signing a lease; I was so drawn by all that he offered that I decided not even 2 weeks later that I wanted to follow in my moms footsteps, leaving the barbershop I worked for to open my own Sola Studio. It has been the best career decision I have ever made. Its so fantastic being my own boss, in my own space, with the support of the owner of Sola just one phone call away, eager to assist me with any concerns or questions I may have, but doesnt hover around or bug us (unless its to promote us, which is great and welcomed by us all!) So, if youre on the fence about owning your own business at Sola Studios, take the leap, because you will not regret it.

I have a Sola studio in Bellingham. I love what they have to offer. A completely set up salon; counter height sink, lots of wonderful storage for our supplies, a great selection of small, large single or double salons. Your rent includes all utilities, a web page on Sola and you also have SolaGenius for scheduling along with other features that help you with running your own business. There is also the marketing that comes with your studio. We have had photo shoots and lots of exposure on the internet. I have been in my studio since it opened last spring. I came from a very busy salon in Lynden. I would guesstimate that 75 percent of my clients followed me to Sola. We are in a great location next to Target. We are easy to find and there is lots of parking and lots of great foot traffic. If you are interested in being an independent contractor, I highly recommend checking out Sola Salon Studios at Bellis Fair in Bellingham, WA.
