Best oil change ever!! I’ve been several places over the years, including other Pep Boys locations. Every time I get my oil changed here, my car rides like brand new. I don’t know what they do, but they do it right!

If youre looking for something they might have, now is the time to see if they have it because stores are closing and reopening under a different brand. Almost everything was gone. We went for car paint and even though we didnt find the exact color we found a pretty good match for 50% off.

My brother had work done on his daughters car and was very happy that the work was done the same day and he was happy with the price that they charged him.

In-store lacks quality; I wanted a Car Duster. Big guy just pointed, & continued conversing. It was not what I wanted; I bought the one best suited; I will not return to In-Store. I tipped the Outdoor guy $5 just for being kind & checking tire pressure. He took time to show me where to find required pressure amount. Tu, Sir👍🏿

Horrible customer service, made appointment to service my vehicle. Three hours later my vehicles was still in the same spot as I left it! What’s the point of doing appointments if they are not going to do the service job & a basic oil change at that. Entered service area and ask for my keys back. They gave me the wrong keys until I mention it to them. Worst customer service..... not going back....

It was a great experience it was done really quick butter Pep Boys staff oil change and they also gave me a good safety check. Due to the covid-19 theyre waiting area was not open and for a customer that waited that was the most uncomfortable part but service was good.

I scheduled an appt accidentally for the wrong day, called them, and whomever I spoke to said oh just come in. Because apparently theyre still accwpting walkins. Pleased, I walked in and was attended to very quickly. I came in after an air pressure warning on my tires, I was tended to quickly, the gentleman who filles my tires let me know which were low to keep an eye on them for the future and when I askes what I owed he said it was a free service. Though this information is on their website I imagine many businesses are approaching their rules differently. That being said ive aleays had great experiences with pep boys and this location is no different. Excellent service, and not even a packed parking lot!!!

Went to get a oil change early in the morning at 8:10 am a gentleman wearing a light grey shirt name Jesse told me Id going to be ready around 10:30 so I decided to stay and wait and I left the store around 1:00 that was very disappointed with waiting for a long time at least tell me was going on no communication no customer service so given it 2 star

Selection is pretty good compared to some of the other chains . Looked like they had some new staff members. They didnt know the answer to my question, so I googled it and eventually grabbed the right part for the job. Reasonable prices. Good store over all.

Staff is always happy to assist with anything you need. I felt really bad for a new kid who attempted to help me because, after he wasnt able to completely help me, a manager had to step in. The new hire went on to help an older gentleman who was just so rude and disgusting to him that I pulled the kid aside and apologized to him for the unacceptable behavior of the older gentleman. Ive seen customers be rude to staff, before. But I have never felt the need to let the staff know that its not their fault and that unfortunately, there will always be customers who think its ok to attempt to belittle staff. I hate customers like that and I wish I wouldve said something to the old man...

The place where I find the parts, I dont find in other auto parts available that day.

Had an appointment. I arrive on time and no one is there to greet me. End up having to wait in line to talk to someone. They finally look up my appointment and ask me if I want to drop off my car. No I dont. He says it will take an hour and a half. Whats the point of making an appointment? 2 thumbs down.

Almost closing time... the assistant manager helped me out. Got me there past I needed, the CORRECT part, and had me on my way. I was able to complete my repair job and make it to work on time. Thank you Pep Boys!

Amazing work. Great customer service. Changed out a bad tire and did an alignment on my work van. Totally recommend that you take your vehicles there for service. Schedule an appointment that way you can drop it off and pick it up later. Or sit in the waiting room drinking coffee.

Overall good service and quality parts

Convenient location usually pretty decent priced services or parts but in my experience they tend to not carry the parts I need at the store and I have to go elsewhere or wait for them to order the part. They usually send out coupons when you are a member of their club and you can have pretty good savings on brake services, oil change, and maintenance of your vehicles.

I had never used Pep Boys before, and went online to buy some parts to do a service on my car. I was really excited with how intuitive the web site was, and how I was able to pre pick my order then take the form in to pick it up in person. Saves wandering around the isles. Prices were great, great promotion on too!Unfortunately my experience went a little downhill once I got to the store. I walk to the parts counter to request my order, and the guy behind the counter stocking a shelf insists Someone will be with you in a minute..... continues stocking the shelf. It was about 5 minutes until he got on the intercom and asked for a colleague to come and assist. A little later a colleague came, picked my order and had me on my way. Its only a minor thing, and I will go back, but I really felt like the in store staff (both the first guy I spoke with and the associate that helped with my order) were not at all interested in me being there. Almost like I was pulling them away from something more important.I wont let my experience with a couple uninterested customer service associates turn me away, but it was a bit of a downer considering how awesome the online experience was with getting my order together.

Went for 2 new tires and rotate back to front and alignment. No one qualified for alignment, and had to get authorization for worker to balance rear tires, which I had roadside service insurance for anyway. Drive 10 miles to Pep Boys on PCH Long Beach to finish service. 1:30 Start

I have a warranty on my tires which i bought from them so they should repair my flat for free, so i went there to get my tire fixed after getting a flat and i was told its gonna be an hour and a half before they can work on my car, so i returned an hour and a half later to be told lets take a look at your tire to see if its repairable. After the guy looked at my tire he said its major damage and they cant repair it so i could by a new tire from them or buy a used one and bring it to them to put it on. So i left and went to a tire shop that took myCar in and repaired my tire in 10 minutes! I will never waste my time going to pep boys again and i will not buy any more tires from there as i found much better deals and service.

We visit here for an oil change. They got us right in and we had a little issue but it was resolved quickly. I dont expect every time I visit a store to have a perfect visit, I just expect the staff to correct anything that goes wrong quickly. This they did do and they did a good job of it. Thank you. I like pep boys & go there often to buy assorted items for my car. I have never used their mechanic services but some of my friends have and they were satisfied with the results. The location I went to on Downey and Artesia boulevard did not want to match their own online prices from the pep boys website where other pep boys will match their very own online sale prices. The guy behind the counter said that the owner told them not to accept the online sales price which I thought was bogus but hey thats how they do it there, just be warned.

I like the price for my oil change, for bmw. And they have Pep boys rewards ... Soooo Im good, going there!

Its a calm place inside, its quiet the employees are friendly and helpful. Part are a little expensive but they are high quality so you get what you pay for. Pep Boys should have whatever you need in stock. They test/charge your batery for free if applicable. I only come here for parts and not for services, so I have nothing to say for that area. I strictly work on my own cars. I cant complain.

Went in today for an oil change, alignment, and tire rotation. Found out that the tire rotation is free, and they accepted my $20 oil change coupon. Overall had a great experience, definitely coming back.

This is a complete service center with parts store. It has a huge parking lot and its easy to get to. The employees are ok but sometimes its hard to get help. If you know what you want and where it is, 5 stars.

I went for an oil change was promised the car would be done in 45 minutes. After 3 hours waiting I asked the service manager how we were doing. Was told its in line. Folks the car was eventually done after 5.5 hours. At least tell the truth.

I walked in with a Performance starter (part # 66256) which I did not know the part number. It was approximately 9:55 pm, I worked my semitruck,I walked in and said, I know you guys want to home but help me on this one. I searched the pep boys site and got the part number.Gloria, the manager went into then system with my old number and said, Ok, we got it. She went to the back to look for it, changed the starter bcs they have to keep the box.On conclusion, Gloria and her workers did a fabulous customer service for my demand of my goods.I can thank you too much un chingo (a lot) and deeply appreciate you, Pep Boys Crew.

I dont know his name but the young Polynesian guy was very kind and answered all my questions. Very positive work ethics. He was more likable then the manager, who seemed unkind. I bet its this young man who keeps the customers happy and more likely to come back.

NO STAR WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD. 5:15 PM ON SUNDAY I GET A NAIL IN MY TIRE, THEY REFUSE TO PLUG IT EVEN THOUGH THEY WHERE OPEN FOR 45 MORE MINUTES. TOLD ME THEY ONLY HAS 2 TECHS WHEN YOU COULD CLEARLY SEE 3.

When we went it was pretty empty so the staff was very few although we were set on getting a free bucket when buying twenty five dollars or more in car cleaning supplies.

I had three large batteries that I had to buy the store on Pacific Coast Highway only had two they gave me 10 percent off and advise me to come to the store to buy the third oneDyspepsia boys does not seem to believe they are part of a network of pep boys and on the same teamThey insisted that they have to sell it for list price and they can not honor the same deal the other Pep Boys made unless I go to my car and bring my receipt backUpon returning with my receipt she was nowhere to be foundThe first two batteries took 10 minutes to buy and I got 10 percent off.... The third battery at this location took 35 minutes to buy and after a lot of aggravation they reluctantly gave me the same 10% offerI wonder how many millions of dollars Pep Boys has spent on their brand name and their image to have it all go to waste so quicklyVery sad and a sign of poor management and training usually this type of issue is routed from upper management all the way downIts amazing that they acted offended that I did not buy all three batteries from them definitely did not care that the other store I shop that was a pep boys as well shame on their incentive policies that me the customers out in the cold:-(

I came here with an engine light on. The mechanics suggested a tune up and all source of work without plugging the machine to the car to see the codes. When to Orileys auto parts and they help me with codes and parts needed for my husband to do the repair.

This Pepboys has the greatest service center. The mechanics here are so kind, professional, and honest. I bring my car here for various repairs because its hard to find trustworthy mechanica when you dont know a lot about cars. I feel confident coming here.The sales guys in the store are also helpful. I dont interact with them as much as I do the mechanics though. I just go in the store, buy my parts, and go see the service guys.
