Great place to get a workout in, when you sign up you get tons of benefits and perks. Possibly the best feature comes in the app where it shows you how busy it is and predictions on when itll pick up and slow down.

Me and 10 other people have gotten their windows broken into around midnight and they still havent put a security guard out at night, when you come at night make sure to park in well lit areas

I have been trying to cancel my account for over a year now and this place keeps coming up with excuses as to why I can’t and refusing to refund my money. I have sent emails on the planet fitness website and called multiple times and have been reassured by employees that i would be fine and that it is indeed cancelled and i should not be charged. Yet I received another charge on the 3/21 and when i contacted the location again they said they “are not refunding last month’s charges”. It is 4/13 not even a full month and they refuse to refund bc for whatever reason. This is not a place i would recommend or even want to be im contact with again. Go somewhere else.

Theyre open yet they do not answer their telephone. I have been trying ALL day. Its 5:30p now. Why have a telephone number provided if they dont pick it up? I dont live in Bellflower anymore and I need to speak to someone at this particular location because it is my home location. Very unprofessional on their behalf. So how is anyone suppose to get ahold of anyone there? Telepathically?

They’ve opened up again since the lockdowns and you feel very safe and comfortable there. Staff walks around the gym to make sure masks are being worn and other staff walk around making sure gym equipment is sanitized.

I have been trying to cancel my membership over the phone and they told me to email the location. Its been days and they havent replied to my email. I moved out of state during the pandemic when the location was closed so I cant go in to cancel my membership. DONT OPEN A MEMBERSHIP HERE. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL.

Love this workout spot. The core machine are the best and thank you for having plenty instead of just one core machine. I went to crunch fitness near my house. I ended up paying for crunch fitness to find out there so small inside crunched up in there lol 😂 thank you having so many other machines as will and big place to workout. Planet fitness is my workout place always. Thank you planet fitness 🥰🥰🥰

It only took 1 pandemic for gym members to finally clean their stations and rack their weights 😂😅. Great job to the staff that maintain the gym, however; its greatly appreciated. Hopefully these good hygienic manners continue post pandemic.

Its not a bad place. The best times to go are really early in the am or later at night around 8/9pm when its not jam packed where you cant even use a simple treadmill. Its not the ideal place to go to if youre a gym enthusiast, there are always people sitting around and there is some lack in equipment so you have to work with it. Other than that the employees have always been nice to me.

I was all for this gym I mean I loved it at first. Until now the fact that they at first reopened then they closed the gym again and its just so messed up because I mean like I understand what they are doing it for. They have to be proactive and serious about not spreading the virus 😷 any more than its already have been spread. But at the same time life still must go on, as well as something to consider PF I am unfortunately currently homeless and I figured out a way to get a membership at this gym because I loved the environment and there was no judgement. I of course depended on the planet for my showers and Im not going to lie it is so hard now since they arent open to find somewhere to shower thats as clean and good vibes and so reliable as the planet. So Ive taken it hard having PF been closed for as long as it has. I am hoping that they are going to be opening back soon or of course in right timing. I also desperately miss those hydromassage beds and chairs, omg those will turn the worse day to a good day 😉

Hello, I usually dont write review, but I must tell everyone how clean this facility is. I used to attend 24 hour fitness for two years and LA Fitness for eight years. I have noticed that Planet Fitness has their gym cleaner than the competition. The locker rooms are spotless and equipment is clean as well. One thing that is always a plus is great and friendly staff which Planet Fitness has! I rate this location 5 stars!

Nice gym for basic workouts.They need to turn on the AC because it gets way too hot in there when your working out. Those ceiling fans and opening a door aint doing nothing.

I enjoy working- out here! Its clean! The staff are nice and friendly; especially Debra, shes cool and fun as a trainer; not overbearing, is what i like! The only thing, I wish; if they had more of the popular machines, because they are hard to get to if someone is using it!

Its large and has lots of equipment. Open twenty four hours. Lots of free and easy parking. Advice if you want it. Its only ten dollars per month. I love it there.

Went to this place to ask for more information. Talked to one fo the guys that was at the front desk. He answered all of my questions and gave me a tour. At no point did I feel pressured to join! He gave me a break down of the membership and the class schedule and told be that if I wanted to get the promotion, just to join before the end of the month. The fact that he didnt pressure me to join made a world of a difference! I will definitely be joining Planet Fitness because of him.

Big space to workout but thats all. Not that clean. People grabbing the free weights and leaving them everywhere except where they suppose to be. I see four employees at the front and no one doing anything, just standing there talking to each other.

I enjoy going here, but for some workouts... they only have one machine, which makes it a joke. Have to literally fight over it. 2nd, I guess this place attracts lots of beginners, people are on their phones more than working out, causing them to hog a machine. No rules against it...

It gets the job done. There is nothing fancy, it supports almost all of your needs if you just need some basic equipment. If you like upgraded equipment this is not the place for you. Otherwise, the staff is friendly and it is a great place to get your workout in.

This planet fitness is one of the trashiest ones Ive ever been to. Its honestly the reason planet fitness gets a bad reputation. A bunch of people were just sitting on the machines done but playing on their phones. This was in the 30 minute workout area, which meant I couldnt do the circuit like youre supposed to be able to do. Staff got really rude to me when I said something about this (even though its a posted rule to not be on your phone while on the floor at the gym). People also werent wiping down machines when done, which again staff did not a thing about. Were also rude to me about me being transgender. Took 2 hours to get through the 30 minute workout because of people using equipment as chairs and not wiping up after themselves. Also, people using equipment in the 30 minute workout area instead of the same machine out for people to use as they pleased. Cancelled my membership after that. Nasty place with lazy staff.

Didnt like this Planet Fitness the one in South Gate is way better its more active better equipment and the bathrooms are cleaner and nicer real tile the walls the top walls these restaurants are ugly they look like a homeless plastic showers as nasty gets all moldy Im cool with this one I want to go to the one in South Gate those are nice and clean professional those restrooms looking funky

Ive been coming here for about 5 years now, the staff is very friendly and they are always keeping things clean but, Jesus and Eric really stand out. They make me feel right at home.

This is my gym. Always a good workout. Its better, if possible to go before 4. Its less crowded then.

I’ve been coming here since it opened. Recently got some new equipment and it’s poppin! Employees are always nice. And facilities pretty clean. Only annoying thing is when guests take weights from the rack and leave them lying around because they don’t have the curtesy to put them back. Also try to avoid peak hours.

The workers may have there one in a million good worker but they are way to emotional. Male or female, they straight up need an attitude adjustment. The payment plan is a straight up lie too ! Not just $1 down. Or just $10 to $20 a month. Please, if you have the money and a good source of transportation use another gym.

Equipment in great shape, floors usually stocked with paper towels and disinfectant. Minor ac leak from ac unit near treadmills heading towards restrooms. A lot of transients but hey if they have a membership why not let them in.However the staff seams to take very little care of showers absolutely disgusting curtains and ceiling are stained and caked with a gunk on a regular basis.

I give it one star because of the price , otherwise it would be zero.The homeless people come in take a shower and leave the showers filthy. I was very cautious not to set my bag because I saw a roach and notified the staff. I mainly go around 3 am they have had issues with safety and only keep the automatic door open.The staff when I first joined was great ! It does not cost anything to greet your customers , half of the time they dont or act like it is a chore.The manager is rude and sets the example ! There is always homeless people hanging out in the parking lot.BE CAREFUL WATCH YOUR BACK ! There was one crazy lady tried to get it my car on the passenger side.I had pepper spray ready !!

Im enrolled, they just got brand new cardio equipment love their new bikes.

Its BARELY ok for the occasional workout, if you dont workout often, but if you actually enjoy working out and this isnt the establishment for you. Its IMPOSSIBLE to get a full workout in due to the lack of equipment AND the fact that they have 4 squat racks that people LITERALLY camp out at, so if you dont claim a squat rack and do all of your workouts IN FRONT of and not ON the squat rack, then you just dont get to use the squat rack that day. Trash. All in all, its a great accoutrement to having another main gym membership like 24hr fitness, etc, but this cannot replace your normal gym, dont even think about itSidenote: all 4 squat racks have been occupied by the same 4 people for the entirety of my 1hr 15min workout plus the 5 min it took to write this review. Pure trash.

I have been coming here for 3 years and it’s my favorite place to de stress. The staff is friendly, floor plan is spacious, restrooms are always clean and there is definitely no gymtimidation. Yes you will come across a homeless or two in the parking lot but I believe you will find one anywhere you go. If your goal is to work out, this is a great place to get it done.

For those who say they have pizza days, I want to know when and where cause I havent seen pizza days at all. Planet fitness is a good gym, its a basic gym that has everything you need. They havent over charge me at all and they are always clean. Im also part of LA Fitness just in case you are wondering.

Its certainly a machine driven gym with very few free weights to choose from. But the people seemed nice.

I would like them to focus more on individual clients to see how they can work each machine and how they manage, also just members giving quick tips

Been going here for a few months now. I think its definitely worth the value. It doesnt have all of the equipment and machines but they still have plenty enough to get a quality workout. The other members here seem like good people, everyone just minds their own business which is perfect, no gymtimidation whatsoever. There are a lot of negative reviews for this place, but I think these people are just expecting way too much from a gym thats only $10 a month. In my opinion its a cool place and you get more than you pay for here. If you just want to have a peaceful workout in a clean and safe environment and dont mind waiting a little for some machines, then this is the place to go.Also. Im not sure where all of these negative reviews about the employees are coming from. I think they are great, Im always greeted when I walk in and thanked when I leave. Whoever helped me sign up was very friendly and professional. Not sure what else people want from them.

Most of the equipment is good except for their treadmills. Cant do proper cardio if the band is constantly slipping! I had to switch to four different treadmill machines before I found one that was ok but even then it wasnt 100% great.

I absolutely love this Gym. The price is amazing. Bathrooms always clean and the staff is amazing and every time I come which is like 4-5 times a week there are different employees which are all nice not just to myself but to others walking in that I’ve seen. Monday’s and Tuesday’s are packed ( who wouldn’t come in those days after eating and partying on the weekend lol) FYI I’m talking about myself here. Other than those days all others are pretty good. I love the whole “ judgment free zone” cuz I do dance and weights.

The most judgemental place to work for. The employees are not very organic. They gossip about the members shortly after interacting with them. Its a dam shame. And the bathrooms are consistently dirty and half cleaned.

This is OK. The customer service is at best average. The way they come across is not the friendliest. All the way up to the managers. There are some regular employees who are actually alot nicer than their bosses. Usually its the other way around.

1 star because I walked in for the first time and was disrespected and mistreated by romeo and jazmin. They said I cant wear jeans at the gym. Ive been wearing Jeans to the gym for 3 years now. Ive went to many other locations and havent been bothered by any if the numerous amounts of staff there. Jazmin and Romeo were nowhere to be found when I visited so I could not sign in. And on top of that Romeo kept staring at me like he wanted to fight. What a joke this was. ive never had this bad of an experience at any planet fitness except this one

This was my first planet fitness, and I think for the price and having no contract... This is a great option for a young person looking to stay in shape or an older person looking to do the same.

Small location, always smells musty and my truck was stolen in the parking lot. Management admitted that multiple cars have been broken into, take precautions with your belongings left in your car. Staff is a bit immature, playing around on the job and being loud and disruptive for peoples workout.

Black card membership is priceless.
