I could not recommend Alex Photography enough! Alex, the photographer, is absolutely amazing. He is so talented and you will not be disappointed by the quality of his work. I am so happy the way our family photos turned out. I will recommend him to all of my friends and never go anywhere else whenever I need more family pictures done. He is friendly, patient and a total baby whisperer! He is a pleasure to work with both on the day of the shoot and beforehand. He responds to emails and texts very quickly and also is very flexible with arranging appointment dates. Thank you so much Alex. You are truly the best !!

I have found my new family photographer! One week ago, I scheduled a Fall shoot with Alex for my 3 month old and I, and I wanted to share a few things:1. Alex is a fantastic photographer! Once I found him on Yelp and looked at his IG and website, I thought his portfolio was just beautiful. His photos are light, colorful and just gorgeous!2. His prices are beyond fair! For his quality of work, the price is unbeatable.3. Hes great with getting kids attention. My 3 month old is pretty alert for her age, but he captured some of the most beautiful photos of us, her with a huge smile on her face.4. I received my photos back (all 761 of them!!) in less than a week!Thank you Alex, for photos that I will cherish forever! I cant wait to book our Christmas shoot!

We have used Alex for all of our milestones: engagement, wedding, portfolio, maternity, newborn and can’t wait to have more shoots with him as our family grows. Wow...We are SO happy we chose to go with Alex for our engagement photos in Bellevue Botanical Garden!  He was incredibly patient with us as we are 25min late due to my makeup appointment.  He made us feel super comfortable and were overall just so friendly and easy to talk to. Alex is truly an exceptional photographer!!!! I have been taking family photos for years and I have finally found a photographer that I will return to year after year. He takes his time and makes sure you feel satisfied with the photo shoot before finishing up. Great with kids! Takes lead on suggesting poses and is also willing to listen if you have ideas of your own.Definitely go to Alex for your family shoot or any other photo shoot, you wont regret it!!!!! Worth it!

Quinceañera Event - Redmond WA. We hired his team for videography. We were working with a very limited budget. Alex was able to provide options to make the entire process 100% pain and stress free!! When there are so many things to be stressed about working with Alex was the best no hassle experience.Alex and his staff we very professional in compliance with Covid rules. The team was always checking to make sure they had the most up to date schedule of events for the day of the event. They were very professional, multitude of angles and video shots that all came together in a beautiful 1+hr video keep sake of such wonderful right of passage for our daughter. The video focused on the key moments of the night, but with great detail before and after capturing the essence of the evening and great 4K quality.Dont hesitate to talk to Alex. He and his team will make sure your special day is beautifully captured in 4K video for your family and friends to enjoy for years to come!!

Alex was a humorous and fun photographer but my wife and I were not very pleased with the wedding photos themselves. I would categories Alexs photography for us as a having a shotgun approach.He will take many photos without much organizing and or planning which lead us to a lot of unorgazied photos. Not one of my groomsmen photos showed all of us looking toward the camera and or in the same position. For the price we expected better quality which we saw on his website when making our decision. I cant say you will have this experience however it was ours.

I am giving Alex studio a fair 2 star only because I enjoyed the owner’s personality as he is a funny guy.Skills: mediocre to low. Alex studio has an approach of taking thousands of photos and hoping that some will turn out decent. Very standard poses, nothing artistic and unique.No photo editing: Alex studio also has an approach of making you look like a model by extending your height and making you thinner so that you look nothing like you as a final result. Some might like this but I didn’t as I was 120 pounds and didn’t think I needed much weight reduction. He however refuses to do the necessary editing such as if your wedding dress is missing a button (personal experience) in a bunch of photos he tells you that he only edits 50 of them. So if you don’t have any photoshop skills yourself just understand you will be happy with only 50 of your photos.Photos are also very low quality such as light covering faces while dancing. This was the case with the videos too (almost the entire first dance)His portfolio looks amazing online and that is what we fell for. I do regret choosing Alex studio for my wedding photography and videography.

2 years ago on that day my husband and I got married ! Alex photographed our celebration ... I have to be honest we spent the last 2 years having so much fun that writing a review was the last thing on my mind ... but watching the video and looking at photographs tonight made us realize how good Alex was ! Though it feels like a long time ago we just relived our entire wedding in the most precise details and intimate manners ! Thank you Alex for this precious gift ... marriage is indeed timeless !

Alex Studio is quite professional throughout the wedding and prompt to respond during the days leading up to the event. But if you are a bride who is size 10 or up, beware; these photographers only know how to shoot attractive photos of smaller, thinner girls. I am a very proportional size 14, 511 in height, and the photographers took nearly every single photo (there might be 5 exceptions in the whole bunch) from underneath my chin, making me look bigger than I am and less attractive than I am throughout the entire wedding. Its not hard to imagine how upsetting and disappointing this would be, after dropping two grand on the package and another thousand on the album. And forget the cost - I can never go back and get those pictures taken again, by sensitive photographers who think about height and size. Its over. Bummer for me. So for the rest of you 10+ brides out there, avoid this pain: find someone who can SHOW YOU that they have successfully and attractively photographed brides who are not model-sized.My other issue with the photographers is that they are not very creative. If you want something other than the standard stuff - if you are hoping for something a little chic, a little angular - forget it (unless you have the cash to pay for Alex himself, in which case, you might get something more like the really cool shots they show you in their studio). Our photographers often did not get the angles right (things were often tilted, and not in a deliberate, cool way), or did not get the whole item in the shot (their photo of our programs cuts off just the bottom corner of the program). And my husband, who wears glasses, had huge glare on his face in nearly every picture. All around, pretty amateur stuff.In summary, Alex Studio is not worth the big pricetag. Save your money. Hire some newbie off Craigslist for $1k. The photos will probably be just as good.
