The staff and councelors are very well trained in caring for all types of people. I felt safe and well taken care of.

Not so pleased with this place. Will have tremors for the rest of my life owing to overprescribed medication. Staff fails to take patient temperatures for COVID hygiene, Finally they dont contract with my insurance carrier so now I must find a new psychiatrist.

Great professional care! Address the patient holistically and efficiently. Have multiple programs and resources to help create specialized care for their clients. Have great connections with the entire Overlake network.

When I was seeing Dr. Mogaddham he worked with me how to get help with as little medication as possible, using mindfulness meditation and CBT. On his suggestion I got a dog and it became my service animal. He was kind, understanding and encouraging. Unfortunately, he left...I was transferred to Dr. Pierson. It was very hard times for me then. I just lost my mother and was obviously very sad. Instead of sympathy and empathy, I received a cold, formal and bad attitude welcome. Dr. Pierson is not very professional. He gets irritated every 30 seconds. Interrupts. Avoids eye contact. Speaks harshly. Never lets me finish a sentence or a thought. The appointment lasts about 5 minutes, then he opens the door and pushes you to leave. Actually, reminds nurse Ratched from One Flew Over Cuckoo’s Nest. He has that spark in his eyes of being power thirsty over helpless and vulnerable.I spoke to Carlos Marinda, the manager, and explained that I cannot find common grounds with Dr. Pierson and I want to be transferred to another mental health provider. Carlos gave me a long lecture first, then said that he will talk to Dr. Pierson about my complains. Basically, that very doctor with whom I have issues, will decide! Mean people, mean clinic!

If I could rate a ZERO I would. Incompetent, uncaring physicians. It can take several weeks to get an appointment and then many are cancelled by them and they dont care. They switch your doctor without care or warning leaving patients having to start overand often have no continuity of care.. Overlake has such few options for patients.so we are stuck with this ... its unethical and unfair and I wonder if they treat patients with non mental health medical issues with the same nonchalant disregard.

Scam artists who overcharge for incompetent medical care. Avoid at all costs unless you want more issues.

This place violated my HIPAA rights by disclosing my medical information over the phone to someone after I had explicitly forbidden it. The cherry on top? They asked that person not to tell me that the clinic had called them. Im amazed theyre still open.

Zero stars. These people were awful.
