Absolutely the best place to go to in order to learn martial arts. Chief Master kassebaum is the best instructor. He teaches respect, discipline, and many other things but most importantly he teaches how to effectively defend yourself. Its never too late to start!

Our family loves Kassebaum Martial Arts! My daughters started at ages 3 and 7. They are 6 and 9 now and I do it even more than they do! We love the facility, the classes, the instructors, the members... Personally, in my mid 30s this is the first sport Ive ever enjoyed and seen myself improve in. My physical and mental health have improved tremendously and Im only motivated to get even better, as an athlete and a person!

This place is great. Master K is great with young kids. You can see the passion through his teaching. So fun to watch the young kids.

My daughter absolutely loves taking classes here! She is always asking if it’s Taekwondo day. Everyone is so kind and professional. She is learning so much and we love watching her grow and become confident in her skills. We highly recommend Kassebaum Martial Arts School and Master Kassebaum and all the teachers for helping our child in her love for martial arts.

I brought my 6 and 4 year old to observe a class and had a lot of fun, plan on enrolling them

My 7 year old daughter did not like the program and decided she would rather spend time with her mom who has been sick and not in a hospital environment for 3 months out of the last 12. He has no respect for that and has been making comments to my son and to the entire class about how quitters are lazy and have no idea about commitment. I believe this business is just in it for the money. I mean a pair of shorts that they have to get for the summer are over $60!!!!!? And they refuse to give us a refund. I have zero respect for their morals or the way they talk to the current children in the class about others that have left the program. As far as I am concerned after my sons contract is up we will be leaving and finding a program that is in it for the compassion of teaching skill, work ethics, focus and drive. You have to make the parents and the children happy in order to keep a business and as far as Im concerned if you keep up the way your going you will be closing soon.

The instructors are genuine and caring people who are invested in your ability to defend yourself intelligently if necessary.

Not worth the price. Moreover, you get locked into a contract with an AWFUL collection agency. The contract is nearly impossible to cancel (Im still being forced to pay even though the contract is expired). There are better options for learning martial arts in the area.

Our son has matured beyond belief. He has embraced the life skills taught in the spirit of Taekwondo and has dramatically improved his physical abilities. CM Kassebaum is a professional and a caring teacher. We are so proud of the lessons and skills our son has developed and look forward to many more years of experience at this academy.

My son and I have been wanting to try martial arts for awhile, but we were a little hesitant about trying classes during the pandemic. Chief Master Kassebaum and the other instructors have conducted all classes with safety as the top priority. We have been so impressed with how the instructors lead by example and how all of the students and parents treat one another with respect and courtesy. We look forward to every class at ATA and we truly miss it on the days we are not able to be there.

We enrolled our now 5 year old son about a year ago. We have seen such incredible improvements with him from this class. Chief master kassebaum is absolutely incredible with the kids. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Granted, COVID19 took everyone by surprise, but my daughter had signed up for a yearlong session then covid hit. The so called classes were offered on line and were not what my daughter contacted for. She has been unable to cancel her membership or get get a refund, and even had her membership extended (reduced rates) without her approval. The owner in a written email to my daughter was unapologetic and very unprofessional. I highly recommend you find some place else for classes and avoid this place!

Master K is definitely great with the kids! My son has been doing the tiger classes for almost a year now and and he loves the ATA/Kassebaums!

Through these difficult times there was always good communication and professional strategically providing resources to advance ourselves in all aspects of martial arts. I would recommend anyone to be a part of this institution.

The kids get one on one time with instructors. Positive environment that helps your child grow independently and responsibly. Highly recommend!

We have been going to the school for years. And thats because Mr. Kassebaum is such a wonderful instructor. Hes been very understanding also when people are going through hard times and will work with you. I highly recommend going to this school. I love that they teach Taekwondo, Krav Maga, and Jujitsu.

I bought a Groupon to let my 4 year old try out martial arts. Master K was kind enough to honor the Groupon even though it was apparently not his deal anymore. Afterwards we were so impressed with how he handled class for such small kids that we signed our son up for the long run and hes still loving it! Master K perfectly pull off the tricky balance of demanding excellence while still being supportive, fun, and completely age appropriate for our now 5 year old orange belt! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Chief Master K is great with the students, no matter what belt rank you are he takes the time and interest to customize the training to all levels of the class.

Loved ATA, not the contracts. It was really good for my sons self improvement and attitude. Grades in school got a little better, but ATA should take a really good look into how the local masters are running their karate business. Seems like its all about $$$, not the kids.

The staff are good people and I have nothing against them personally. The contract however does not come with an early cancellation clause and no one would work with me to cancel due to changing circumstances. It is a 12 month contract. Had I known that there was no early cancellation I would not have signed on with them. There was also a point where I was charged an equipment fee twice and charged an overdraft fee. I wasnt prepared to pay twice what I agreed to pay and on top of that added on an overdraft fee. Mind you NOT from my bank, from the services they outsource to a different company. I recieved the equipment fee back but not the 25 dollar overdraft fee. I am now stuck in a 12 month contract I should have avoided and all I was asking for is an early cancellation fee.

Too pricy! The people in there are cool but its the contract. I paid for a uniform that I never got for my daughter...tried to get my money back but no go...and now he wants $$$ when my kids havent been going for three months...dont do it guys.

Amazing atmosphere and culture for students young and old, new and experienced!!!

When I toured the studio I asked specifically if my child with autism would be fit for this class. The nim wit who gave me a tour said yes of course blah blah blah ....that did not turn out to be the case the instructors didnt seem to know how to deal with child with autism and It didnt work out so well. The studio just to the west of the interstate does however have lots of experience working with children with autism, children with brain injuries etc., I would recommend them.

Master K is great. Hes a great instructor and great guy personally .Good instructors and great atmosphere . Highly recommend

Hard pass. Having received training at other ATAs with great results will leave you with a sour taste here. Pay to promote belt system, unrealistic expectations for leaving your contract, repetitive training that instills little the ATA organization stands for, short staff, and poor communication from management equals 1 Star.Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.As a side note. My family and I paid to leave our contract. Which I was able to reach an agreement with the contract holders ASF (you won’t find fiscal accountability from the management at ATA they will make excuses and blame ASF for everything to include why you can’t leave your contract). When I called ASF I asked once I payed off the contract could we find a child in need to attend class for the price that we paid to get out off the contract. Which by estimate would have been WELL over a year of tuition. The lady on the phone (not at ATA) said it was a great idea. ASF would relay the info to the management of this ATA and would get back with me. I haven’t heard anything. We’d like to give the tuition that we paid to exit our contract to a child in need of our choice. Although the training didn’t meet our standard at least the money that we paid will go to some use for a child in the community. Please respond publicly to this post or send me a text.

My daughter has been doing taekwando at Master Ks for close to a year. She enjoys the class and has learned so much. The staff is nothing but professional and knowledgeable.

Great family environment...instructos cant be beat

My daughter has learned so much over the years. Taking a break but hoping to return after she gets more time from other school activities she is doing but would recommend this place to others in a heartbeat

My son has been learning the discipline of Taiquondo with Master Kassabaum for five years. After graduating from the Tiny Tiger program, he has tested through the belt ranks and is soon to achieve Black Belt. Master Kassabaum and his team of instructors not only are very knowledgeable about all the aspects of taiquondo but do their past to individualize instruction to the unique needs and personalities of each student. My son has learned more technique for blocks, strikes, and kicks, but more importantly his focus and respect for his elders has increased greatly, thank you.
