John Reed will change your life.I started training with John in 2012 after struggling to find the experience I was looking for with other trainers. John was a young, new trainer at the gym and I wasnt sure what to expect, but was immediately blown away by his energy, professionalism and knowledge.Over the following two-and-a-half years, Johns training became a cornerstone of my fitness regimen. John didnt just give me a cookie-cutter workout plan, he personalized every workout to my goals and needs and came in every week with new information, techniques and tips and incorporated them into our sessions. By far the best trainer I have ever met! I have been working with John for a few years now and continue to be impressed with his ability to stay at the forefront of the health and fitness industry. John has truly helped me see my potential and has played a key role in my journey to live a healthier lifestyle.If you are looking for someone who will listen to your goals, create a plan to achieve them and really help you get and stay there, he is the one.He is a great listener, highly educated in his space and very motivated to help others achieve their goals. He is not a cheerleader...he is a coach. Always energetic, happy and encouraging... I would highly recommend him no matter where you are in your journey. I lost over 30lbs in the first 8 months with him and have kept it off for over a year and a half now! He is awesome!!

Training with John has made a huge difference in my life. He worked with me to put together a fitness plan based on where I was and where I wanted to be. Now I feel strong and healthy - I dont even recognize older photos of myself. Throughout the process, John has been there guiding, motivating, informing and protecting me. Hes really a good choice for a knowledgeable and engaging professional to help you get into the shape you want to be.

John Reed is motivated to motivate you. Hell pretty much customize your training to fit your needs. Need nutritional advice? Hes got a plan for you. Want to lose weight or bulk up? He will help you with your goals. Just want to get stronger or learn correct weight lifting technique? Hell help you with that, too. Ive been working out with John for a couple of years and even when Im tired or not looking forward to working out after work, Johns attitude and energy always makes it worthwhile. Hes a certified Master Trainer and hes always learning new things to share with his clients. Highly recommend.

I’m a type 1 diabetic who had really poor blood glucose level control. When my wife and I found out that we were expecting, I wanted to take control of my health and be there for my daughter as she grows up. Since I started working out with John, I’ve lost 20 lbs and my blood glucose levels have been amazing. This may be more relevant for diabetics but my last HbA1c was 5.6, the lowest I’ve ever had in my 22 years of being a diabetic :).John is very knowledgeable and explains the technique and reasoning behind each workout thoroughly. His guidance on nutrition and on maintaining a healthy lifestyle has kept me motivated and has had a tremendous effect on my overall health.l’ve had nothing but a positive experience throughout this time. Each session with John is not only challenging but fun too. John was my trainer for over 3 years. Many trainers or books can teach you proper form, but Johns positive attitude and encouragement are what make him a great trainer. He encouraged me while I trained for a half and full marathon and adjusted my weight training and cross training sessions accordingly. He helped me train for a Tough Mudder. I would go back to him in a heartbeat if I could, but he has given me the tools and confidence to do it on my own.

I hired John about a month ago. We did 3 sessions together and everything was going ok at first. But he was very chatty and started trying to flirt with me and the way he tried to demonstrate stuff he was always touching me. I politely asked him to stop because it made me uncomfortable and he stopped for the rest of that day. But next session he was back to touching me again and flirting. He would send me text messages to see how I was doing as well. Definitely going to hire someone else. Ladies beware!

Best trainer in Bellevue. I had personal trainers for the past 13 years, but never stayed with the same trainer for more than 6 months until I started training with John Reed. John makes trainer exciting, challenging, and fun. He challenges me and makes sure I get the results that I want. He is also very knowledgeable when it comes to nutrition. He customized a nutrition plan, and along with his workout plan, now I am stronger, leaner, and I live a healthier life style.I have been training with Jon Reed for almost 3 years, and I appreciate everything he has done for me. He is great listener, treats his clients as friends, and truly cares about me achieving my goals.

I have been training with John for over three years. I am a 50+ year old man with multiple dinged up body parts. John always comes up with new and different exercises/lifts to achieve our workout goals, without aggravating my problem areas (ankle, knee, shoulder). He takes time away from the gym to research the most effective ways to work around my difficulties, and is always coming in with new exercises. Training with John is fun and always ends up being the best part of my day. This is a career for John, not a job, and he treats it and his clients as such. I think every one of his clients considers him a good friend, not just a personal trainer. I consider John my personal trainer, nutritionist, life counselor, and a great friend. You wont find a better trainer or person than John.

Ive been training with John for 5 months and the results have been astounding. I was nervous to start lifting after I herniated two discs, L4 and L5 in January 2015. In March 2016 I hired John with the intent of recovering after my injury. Amazingly, Im stronger than ever and able to do lifts I never thought Id be able to do again, like squats and deadlifts. Im confident that this was only possible with Johns coaching and programming tailored to my specific goals and injury history. I would not have been able to do this without him. Now people complement my form, calling it perfect and textbook.John is an excellent trainer, always encouraging, and was very patient with me and my injury. If you are looking to get into strength training or weight lifting, especially if you have had an injury in the past, John is your guy.
