Girlfriend has been trying to go here for months. The first time she was here she was able to get a appointment with a therapist and doctor or somesorts for depression medication. The times to get said medication are ridiculously difficult cause you have to be there by a certain time and you might not get in because of a line. Now my girlfriend had a appointment scheduled a few days that got rescheduled to today at 8am. Note this is the first time in months that shes been able to go.First thing they tell her is that Rachel isnt seeing anyone today, even she had asked 3 times before hand to make sure on her appointment.Terrible facility and employees, dont waste your time here.

***THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE PSYCHIATRIC AREA OF THIS FACILITY***The receptionist is extremely rude. I live about 1.5 hours from this facility. I took my son in for the first time, and the psychiatrist prescribed him a medicine that he hadnt tried before. I did notice a positive change in him, which is great. But I call the number they gave me and the phone just rings until I get disconnected. He had an appointment today with his therapist, so I went over there to talk to them about it. The receptionist just told me Well, thats what you have to do. I was speaking and she started talking to someone else that walked up...about getting them an appointment. I walked out. Its been 2 months and I havent been able to talk to anyone about getting him in.

***Psychiatric area*** Rude receptionist the one with red hair. Not helpful and obviously needs to get a different job or get help herself. Ive never had a good encounter with her.I always get the run around. Trying to make appointments its a hassle. They schedule labs without telling you they dont do labs for people with No insurance and then turn you away when you get there for your appointment. Its always something with them. I told them I would not see one nurse practitioner because she was not a good fit for me and they told me Id have to see her or come back another day.

I thought chestnut is here to help people. Every time my son needs them they are useless. The receptionist is rude and you can tell she doesn’t like her job. It shows in her attitude. My son wanted to see Amanda. Due to insurance issues he’s had no medicine in 2 weeks. And won’t qualify till April. He is a paranoid schizophrenic. All he wanted to do was talk to Amanda. But she said it was impossible to talk to her. I just find it hard to believe

Ive been trying to get my daughter in for months. Chestnut keeps transferring me to voicemail boxes of people who dont call me back, or do and transfer me to someone else. Dont waste your time. Go somewhere that actually cares.

This place is an absolute train wreck. Besides the fact that it is very dirty, no one knows whats going on. I cant even begin to start with all the failings going on here. I went up to the reception desk and let her know my daughters name she looked at me and said snotty her appointment was yesterday. And I said you are right it was yesterday until her councilor canceled the appointment and made it for today. The medicine game is great times you show up and hope to get a turn. Well we didnt get a turn. So we have to keep going back until we get a bingo and get to see a doctor. I wish her pediatrician would give her her medication

This place straight up sucks. Theres no way to get in with a psychiatrist within a month if you havent seen one there before, the therapists are entirely unhelpful, the receptionist in the medical center is HORRIBLE, the entire place is filthy, the psychiatrist meetings consist of nothing but Do you wanna up your dosage? I guess Ok, the staff dont care about anyone, the list goes on and on. Theyre also horribly transphobic to the point where my last meeting triggered a panic attack instead of actually helping me. So, yeah. I came out of my experience at this clinic worse than when I went in. Literally the only reason to come here is that they accept Medicaid.

If you are going to get treated for anything other than addiction, then absolutely 100% do not even waste your time on this joke of a facility. It is full of simpleminded individuals who do not understand what they prescribe and after they prescribe, you will continue to go back every month with obligated drug screenings. I am not an addict, so I do not need to be treated like one. The amount of time and effort I have had to make for their mistakes and to obtain my medicine is absurd and I can not fathom the extensive sorrow I have for anyone getting involved with Chestnut
