This review is STRICTLY for the wash and fold service. I am a single father that sometimes needs to drop off laundry when I can not do it myself in my apartment building. They always charged 1 dollar a pound. Even when I dropped off last week on Tuesday 9/28/2021. I dropped off today and the attendant told me that they changed their price to 1.25 a pound on Friday 10/01/2021.This is absolutely absurd. I can see increasing it .10 cents but a whole quarter. So for an 18 pound load that would normally cost 18 dollars is now 22.50. I promise I will never return to this establishment for the wash and fold service again.Besides this the place is spotless and I would recommend you doing your laundry inside this place. I just hope that they don’t increase their washing machine rates as well.

This laundromat is quite dirty. I come here because of convenience however the machines are not frequently cleaned and there is actual MOLD growing inside of the slots where you pour the detergent. I added a picture below

Lady at front has such an attitude. i asked her for change and looked at me like i wasn’t supposed to ask that. when she gave me my change, she put it on the counter and rolled her eyes. i will not be coming back.

Ever since new management, its been my favorite place to do my laundry. the employees are really understanding and the owner’s kids are really understanding when i need to pick up clothes after hours.

When I come to NJ this is where I go to do my laundry. My last visit they were under new management, the staff is amazing and very clean. I was very pleased with the upgrades they are making. highly recommended for anyone who needs to go to a laundromat.

This laundromat has been under new management for several months. They have made many improvements. This place is very clean and staff is pleasant. Highly recommend!

I dropped off my clothes and understood they were busy because their main employer was out sick. I picked up my clothes and not only were they all wrinkled but they used my pillow case to put the clothes in!! My laundry bag that I brought the clothes in with was half filled. I wont be going back. Guess Ill stop being lazy and wash my own clothes. Lol. So disappointed though.

The service here is amazing! I am a new and satisfied customer. The attendant and new owners are always friendly and helpful. The laundromat is spacious, clean and the hours are convenient. I will continue to recommend the Plaza Laundromat to my friends and family.

Very good new mangament even though they have low staff. People need to learn understanding and patients its not all about what you want as a picky customer just beacuse you have 100 things to do. This place gives you the option to use pick up and delivery to your house or drop off and pick up to avoid. Busy people. I like to thank the staff for their hard work!

I am a Bloomfield resident and Ill pass 2 laundromats to come here. The laundromat is now under new management and both the employees and owners are very nice people. Clean store, ALL the washers and dryers work. There is always an employee on site for change. They have wifi available and the parking is free. The one I went to in Bloomfield was an absolute dump! Heres why, washers and dryers are always broken. No attendant between 6am and 9am so if you need change good luck! I got a $35 ticket because you have to pay for parking and I missed it by 3 minutes. No wifi and the washers stink to hell. If you think this is a bad place to do laundry, please reach out to me, Ill send you to my old laundromat here in Bloomfield.

This place USED TO BE good. Ive been here for 15 mins and I can confidently say ill be finding a new laundromat. They “renovated” today and added big obnoxious washers down the center of the laundromat where convenient folding tables and chairs used to be. Its cramped and crowded in here now. Theres only half of dozen customers here and we’re all bumping into each other bc theres no room to walk.Ive been coming to this laundromat for years. Ive never once come here and had to wait for a washer bc they were all in use. There is always washers and dryers available. Why the heck do you need to install 15 more? Ive also been afraid to ask what happened to the employees who worked here prior to the new management...Everything i loved about coming to this laundromat is now gone which is why theyve lost me and my family as customers.

I saw the sign under new management so gave it another chance. Place is clean, staff is pleasant. Will be back again.

Very clean, new owner very polite. I like the people very friendly to have conversations with.

The attendants are very helpful and do a great job at keeping the machines and the entire laundromat very clean, as well as providing a great washing fold service. They were very attentative to senior citizens and people whom are having difficulties. Can get very busy on Saturday and Sunday mornings. A bonus is there is plenty of parking as this is a plaza.

Terrible. Last wash is at 6:30? Does a person need to take a whole day off from work to be able to wash their laundry? I understand I arrived at 6:40, but it does not give the employee in charge the right to scold me or make me feel uncomfortable. As soon as she tried going back and forth with me I simply said I’d leave. On my way to the car she followed me out and gave me a story about the owners watching her on the security camera and whatnot. Save it. You’re rude and that laundromat is trash anyways.

Very Poor Service! Laundry should be a simple process. You get in wash/dry fold and get out. The manager here harasses and scolds his employee for allowing someone to use the change machine. He’s constantly walking around like a security guard making people feel uneasy. Will not return to this place.

This place has changed a lot over the past several months , new ownership in which they take pride in their place. Very clean, change always available , washers and dryers alwsys work now and friendly staff. Hours are great!!! Friday nights due to the bar next door parking can be tough so being the bank is closed I use that at times for alternate parking if need be and have never had any problem. The new hours are great they close at 11pm now !!! nothing like being able to throw wash in any day of the week at 9pm and go next door have a beer relax and unwind and go back to laundrymat throw in dryer and back for another beer until my clothes are dry. (Just be consdierate and set your alarm on your phone as to when you have to go back) Again if you havent been there since the new owners took over give it a shot you will not be disappointed. !!!! Great Job to the new owners and staff for the huge turn around in cleanliness , outside seating etc. Will recommend your place to everyone. Keep up the great work

Saw the UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT sign and gave it another try and it is much better than before. The attendents are kind and keep it very clean. The owners of the Krausers convenience in the same strip mall now own the laundromat and they fired that rude woman. New T.V.s and all the machines function properly!Washers dont spin effectively so laundry is dripping. The hispanic woman working here is nasty. She yelled and got an attitude with us saying we shouldnt put wet clothes in the dryer because it will cause a fire. I called her out to the owner who said they are working on them. Then she changed her tune. It seems she is only friendly to other hispanic customers. 5 out of 22 dryers out of service, so you have to wait for a dryer. Weve been here twice and wont be back.

This place used to be a pleasant place to do laundry until new management took over. If I could give this fewer stars I would. There is one new employee who is so rude and miserable Im not sure how she was hired. She takes her nasty attitude out on customers telling them to move out of her way and closing early despite the hours of operation on the door. Additionally, if you happen to ask if she has change for a larger bill she rolls her eyes and acts as if you are asking a huge task. Horrible. Dont go here.

The place is clean. However, the laundry attendant is the worse. She is nasty to customers. I witnessed this myself, with two otber woman. She is combative just aweful. She gave me attitude, mean looks and started talking about me in Spanish whichI understand . All this because i we t to load my clotthes in a llarge washer. Apparently her friend was supposedlly outside waiting for the machine i was going to use. I wont visit this place again and I definately will tell all the same. If you want bad service come here.

Nice and clean, they have tvs to watch but playing Spanish stations, I dont speak Spanish so might as well have no tvs. Wont come here again for that reason.
