Went into shop to pick up my clock. Repair was much more than was quoted. They also did not return my key for winding the clock. The week before the shop was closed because their family had covid and main repair guy was still in hospital. I expressed concern about if they still had covid and their vaccination status. Amazingly they were still resisting vaccination despite a relative in hospital. Due to confined space and potential to spread covid to customers, I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Came in only to repair a cracked crystal on the watch, and was told i would have to pay $60, a reasonable price. Was scammed into paying over $100 because they claimed my watch NEEDED servicing, when it isn’t even a year old. The servicing repairs were already made when i specifically told them i did not want servicing when they asked. They proceeded to service my watch, without my consent and confirmation.

More expensive than I thought it would be. I also had to change the integrity of one of my clocks which really kind of ruined it because it was nautical and I had to put on just a plain pendulum.

Went in for battery replacement and shorten lenght on watch. Charged $22, next day watch stopped. Returned with watch a week later, i dropped off and was given an estimate of $150!! Why they dont check watch thoroughly in the first place is beyond me. After dropping down $22 for a watch my dad paid 5 bucks for while serving in Korea in 1953, what a rip off. I wanted it fixed for sentimental value, but it would have been professional and courteous to inform me watch could not be fixed before charging me $22 on this watch.i took in 4 watches that day and spent total $56.29. Not sure how long the others will last. I tried to ask the man why they charge to fix a watch that doesnt work. $22 is alot of money and still no working watch. He just looked at me like I was crazy. Yep they already got my money. He see or know nothing!!Go to Chinatown, its cheaper and do good work because they want your business.

Mr. C replace the battery in my watch correctly. However, the watch no longer was water resistant. I took the watch back to be told it part of the risk in changing the battery. They took the watch back told me they fix the problem but water still enter the watch. Mr. C was not able to fix the water issue!I end up taking the watch to Mr. K watch repair to fix the new water issuesMr. K fix the water resistant without any problem!

I would give them 4.5 stars if I could; excellent, timely work. They could use some work on their enthusiasm as I expressed interest in a couple of their products but they didn’t seem interested in making the sale. However, as a watch repair shop they do great work at very reasonable prices.

Went to this guy with a 90 yr old watch. He does know people that can do things like face cleaning and does know about mechanical watches, but after $1000 he gave me back my watch without a crown. It kinda works, but not really.Just stick with battery replacement for this shop. Dont expect them to be professionals on small things....maybe clock - large things....are his strength.

If I could, I would give zero stars. I thought I would support our local businesses in Bellaire, so I called to see if they could replace my watch band. I was told they could and it would cost 8 dollars. I stopped by and confirm that it was 8 dollars and the lady behind the counter began to replace the band. The new band was too big so she removed some links. She completed the job and I put a 20 dollar bill on the counter to pay for the replacement services. She said it was 12 dollars for removing the links. I was a little surprised, but I said ok. She took the 20 dollars and then said I would not get any change since 8 plus 12 was 20. I was flabbergasted. 20 dollars for a standard 22mm band replacement. I should have had her removed the band. However, since I felt sorry for this small shop, I just left. I would NEVER use them again. I also would not recommend this shop. I am all for helping small businesses, but for 20 dollars for 10 minutes of work to replace a band is outrageous. Therefore, BEWARE if you use their services.
