Love bringing my clothes here to get my jean alterations. Clothes are done in a timely manner and at a great price.

I had five business shirts embroidered for my small business. Not only was the work high in quality, but was completed in a short time frame. Really impressed!

Amazing Embroidery!!! I had two apron bibs, I needed to get Monogrammed last minute right before Christmas. Michael was so helpful, he even printed out the fonts in the right scale so I could see what it would look like before it was done. The bibs were done two days ahead, and I got a text! I will be back! They can even embroider original artwork with the fancy machine they have :)

I called and asked the price on a hem. I’m a student, so I asked them if they had any student discounts. The guy on the phone said “discount?!” And started laughing, speaking to his coworker in Vietnamese and laughing loudly with her (I could hear all of this over the phone). I was going to give them my business regardless of the discount, but after that unprofessional phone call, I went over to Chic Tailor in the Braeswood square and they did an awesome $10 Hem on my scrub pants. (Which is cheaper than JC’s $12 hem)!

They did an amazing job on two slim fit Barbell Apparel jeans I needed hemmed for shorter inseam. It looks just like the original and I could tell they took the time to do it right. Prices are very reasonable too. I literally drive extra bc it’s hard to find a good alteration place. Very clean and organized. The owners are the nicest people you will meet and take great pride in their craft.

I needed an embroidery done ASAP for a retirement gift for my boss. They were able to have it ready the next day and it looked GREAT. They also charged me a very fair price. I highly recommend this place!

I get my pants tailored,and they always turn out perfect and the turn around time is quick. The owners are nice and always greets you with a smile.

I had my pants hemmed a few weeks ago. They were ready in about a week and look great. It was $10 for the hem which seems about standard. They added a nice touch by steaming/pressing the pants and bagging them. Overall a solid job.

I has 2 towels monogrammed. As usual, they did a great job!

Friendly, competitively priced, good work, reweaving done in house (most places send it out).I had 5-6 shirts taken in at different places in the Galleria / Bellaire area and compared the work and cost at each. JC alterations came out on top of my survey. They are no longer conveniently located for me but I still try to get my clothes there if I can. Ill be honest and say that there was one problem out of the 20 or so items Ive had them work on (shirts, pants, suits) but they fixed the oversight immediately when it was brought to their attention.

About a year ago they installed a new zipper in an old winter coat and it is still doing fine. They saved me a lot of money that it would have cost to buy a new coat.

The couple who own JC Alternations are fantastic. I had a horrible experience with another tailor so I went to JC where my family has gone for years when it was own by a different couple. They were so kind and professional and were able to make all the changes I needed for a bridesmaid dress.She altered it three different times in the same week to make sure that it was exactly right on my body (there was lace on the back that she was working with to get just right). Even after all the work she did, the price was very affordable. They will always be by tailor!

The service is pretty bad. After 2 weeks waiting for a job done, I called and she said she cant do it
