I usually do all my own processing. However a few years ago I was too busy to do so and I heard about Dutch from a good friend. I brought in a few animals that year and was very pleased with the outcome and the price! Keep up the good work. I hope your business goes far!

Killed a beef in roundup for a customer...turned out to be the wrong cow. Not sure how that happens. Several business in town have been stiffed on pay for work they have done for this place. Customers dont get all their meat back, and when they do its filled with debris and has an off smell. Its apparent this company needs a serious evaluation of its cleanliness, and business standards. Gross

Take your business ANYWHERE but here unless you want to get chipping paint, dog hair and rust in the mystery meat you pick up. We have first hand experience behind the scenes from day 1 and we can’t stay quiet about it anymore. We have seen the entire operation from field to box many times because they don’t even have a truck to come pick it up for you. They rely on their independent contractors to pick up their slack and then laugh when they ask to get paid. The constant lies to customers and sketchy butchering practices need to be stopped. They don’t have the slightest indication of what’s going on and how to run a business. The list of USDA code violations is extensive and has been submitted for review. I would save your money and your health and go a legitimate butcher shop. Not one that doesn’t have any money for basic sanitation and food handlers safety courses. We have countless photos of violations that might make you wince a little bit. I’m sure there is more that we didn’t see since basically the entire time we were ever there was sketchy practices. Please don’t go here. It’s really not worth being lied to about your animals. This is a joke of an operation. Walk in randomly and try not to gag at the smell of rotting meat in the drains.

This guy has no business cutting meat and charging people for it. He cut game for me and several people I know last year and none were happy. If you follow his facebook account he is constantly asking for loans to keep his business afloat all while bragging about having more work than he can handle.Do yourself a favor and find another butcher.

Me and my son came into your shop mid to end November. Talked with you for a few minutes and it rubbed us the wrong way. Stating to your customers you have no experience and need absolutely anyone, doesnt look good, nor does it put faith in your work. I refuse to take animals to someone who cant tell me the difference between a chuck arm, and a mock tender, let alone know where they come from. My neighbor asked about you guys for bringing in a beef. I told them exactly what happened and they laughed. They will be using another processor. I believe everyone should know where and how their food is being handled. Avoid Dutch meats. The guys a drunk and all talk, thats why you get 1 star.

Absolutely a joke. Zero commercial game experience, cutting your own deer a couple of times does not qualify you as a butcher. Meat handling and cleanliness is terrible. Animals on the ground is not how good shops run. There are no experienced cutters there. And most of the carcasses get sent to another processor in town, because Dutch is looking to make money as a middle man that sources out work. It’s a brand new-failing processor playing the veteran card.

Got my meat back from Dutch today. I will say that they were very friendly. The service was pretty quick especially given how busy they were, and I know I got my own meat back. Price was a little high ($200 flat for a mule deer). Biggest problem is that I packed out 120lbs of animal all quartered. I got back about 55lbs of processed meat. The meat I gave them was very clean and bagged. The back straps and tenderloins were separated in their own bag away from the neck meat and rib meat. The meat I got back was labeled steaks, roast, and burger. Didn’t get tenderloins separated and I think they became burger. If backstraps were cut into steaks like I asked those are the only steaks I got. If not, they became burger as well. Minimum should have gotten about 70lbs back. Pretty disappointed but at the same time given how busy I am I didn’t have any other option since no other professors were taking meat. I would have much rather waited longer and gotten more meat back.

Incredible, timely, friendly and efficient experience from this veteran owned and operated business while having my bull elk processed. Extremely nice cutting and packaging of my kill, all on a short turn around on my native non resident tag.
