I would recommended Whole Hearts Counseling to anyone looking for counseling for their young child. My 2 children grew some much with their help and taught me how to continue the strategies used in sessions at home. Words cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for how they helped not only my children grow but myself as well. Thank you!

Alexia is an amazingly talented counselor. She is efficient and knowledgeable. She explains the entire process thoroughly. She is patient and kind. Not only has she been a huge help in understanding my children and our family dynamics but she is available and flexible. She is available to talk on the phone and she comes to our home. I would highly recommend her as a warm and caring child and family counselor.

There isnt anything I could possibly write here that would adequately express how grateful our family is or to express what a profound impact Alexia has had on our daily life. But here goes: my family underwent PCIT play therapy here for several months. I was very, very skeptical. We have participated in many different types of therapy over the past two years, each with varying degrees of success. This was a complete game changer. For reasons I still do not completely understand, attending these raltively brief session transformed our lives and our day to day experience with our child. My experience with counseling services with Alexia Fergoso were very helpful to me and my family. Divorce had left me tattered and worn out and my children needed me more than ever but my kids also, I recognized, could benefit from counseling, my son in particular was struggling, and I wanted him to have an opportunity with a professional to help him work through the emotions he was having and how to put words to it and express it in healthy ways. I struggled with this myself. Most of my sons therapy took place through play, play therapy. It was very helpful for him, I was also able to have my own time to talk to the same therapist who worked with my child and this indeed gave her a thorough understanding of my family and our unique dynamic since divorce. I found these services very helpful and chose to be an advocate for my child to provide him with every opportunity possibly to give him a buffer or tools to use for his own emotional growth and development through a very difficult time. We were able to target things like self esteem and confidence through assessment and create goals for my child around these target areas. Many sessions were in my home which allowed me to develop a personal and trusting relationship with the therapist. In the home was an ideal environment for my son to receive these services. This was a great benefit for my family, It was such a difficult time to manage everything in my life I needed some extra help, I was unable to help my son and doing this together gave me the tools I needed to help him and myself.

Alexia is a wonderful therapist. She is skilled and has a gentle, warm and supportive way of being. I would recommend Alexia to anyone who is looking for a real therapuetic connection.
