We made a reservation way in advance of our trip. We asked for a full sized car with navigation. We received a confirmation showing that we were to receive a Toyota with navigation. When we picked up our car it was a Dodge SVU with no navigation. We had 5 days planned in Yellowstone National Park and other places in WY and MT and had no idea where anything was. It was quite stressful. Also, the car was not clean when we got it. My first stop was a store to purchase windex and paper towels so that I could see out of the windshield. The car was comfortable and large enough for our purposes and seemed good on gas, but the lack of navigation was a major issue for us. When I complained and asked for another car I was told that only 5% of their cars has a GPS system and I should just use my phone! We took the car to a car wash and cleaned all the windows so it was nicer when we returned it than when we received it. The return policy was very convenient, we just dropped it off and went to the airport.

My rental car experience with Budget was exceptional. Checking out was quick and uncomplicated, and the rate was very reasonable. On top of that, the vehicle was a late model, in good condition with low mileage. Definitely going to Budget for my future rental car needs.

Was told that the auto insurance was $30.00. Turns out the cost was $30 per day not just $30. My mistake. However returned the vehicle completely full of fuel which I had topped off 2 miles from the airport and received a fueling charge of $23.72 on my final bill. That is just stealing money from me. Can not encourage doing business with a dishonest company.

This location closes at midnight at this airport. There is no contingency plan in place when planes are delayed. Our entire flight was scrambling to find transportation at 1:15 a.m. when we arrived. This was not pleasant for any of us.

There was only 1 very long line to wait in to pick up our rental. Per the emails/messages that I received, we shouldve been able to pick up our rental via Fastbreak. There was no fastbreak location in Belgrade/Bozeman as reported. Budget and Avis were together. No separate line. We were in line at least 45 mins. Please remove your info that Fastbreak is available at this airport rental pickup location. And our rental car was to be a Camry or comparable sized vehicle, and we were only offered a Corolla or we could pay to upgrade to a Chevy Mini-van. Not cool. Customer service had a couldnt care less attitude.

I reserved my car early(months ahead) through American Airlines website after booking my ticket. I received at a reasonable rate which was honored at rental time. It was fairly easy to pick up car and even easier to return it as I was met by an attendant in the parking deck. The only issue I had was the car was pretty dirty inside and somewhat outside. The windshield was really bad. And I did not notice a childs car seat in back til I was at my next stop. Other than those things the car ran great and I had no issues.

Tried to upgrade many times prior to arriving and was told there were no vehicles available. At the airport was able to upgrade with no problem (which was GREAT, THANK YOU) there were so many SUVs.. It took me 3 vehicles before I was given one with a spare tire, the manager was great but after an early morning and a long flight and a long drive ahead of me, walking back and forth 3 times from the lot to the counter was not a good experience.

I had an issue with the car and wanted to speak with someone about and got the run around from the agent at the airport and the customer phone line . Agent at the airport told me to call the phone line. Agent on the phone line told me I had to speak to the agent at the airport.

On arrival the staff didnt properly queue the line. We had to stop someone from jumping the line. We also waited for over 30 min for our car. The staff wasnt efficient and clearly not enough with just 2 of them. On the return we filled up our tank just outside the airport. The lazy attendant at car return didnt check and charged us for an empty tank. Now its up to us to prove that we filled the gas tank. The phones at this location have been closed and forwarded to main line. This will take longer to correct the issue. We are not happy to have our wonderful vacated this way!

Everything is smooth. when picked up the car, every supplier had long waiting line, only budget had two guys serving the customers, the others had only one. when dropped off the car, just left the car there without any other additional step.

It was trouble free and easy. The young lady behind the Avis counter was extremely helpful and even remembered the details when I returned the car three days later ,and that was really surprising.The rates compared to others were reasonable.

Car was too small to fit golf clubs in. We had to spend $360 to rent clubs then when we turned car in there was an extra charge $247 no one told us about. Ridiculous for a Toyota Corolla. I feel a refund is in order.

Just returned from a trip to YNP and Grand Tetons. Was very worried about rental cars based on reviews of the vendors here, but will say this was one of our best experiences ever. Had booked with two agencies and the other one (rhymes with Burtz) sent us a revised estimate that was over 2.5 times what we had booked back in February a week before the trip, making Budget the VERY easy choice, even though it was slightly more expensive than our original Burtz quote). The first vehicle they gave us was damaged in multiple spots, so I requested another, and the gentleman at the counter set us up with a brand new Toyota 4Runner, no hassle at all. The vehicle was perfect and really helped us enjoy our trip.Saw him on our return and thanked him....this simple move helped make the trip that much better!

Reserved a mini van 5 months prior to my trip. When I got there no mini van was available. was switched to an suv which was not comfortable at all for 6 adults. Tried to upgrade to larger vehicle, Yukon/Explorer. Was told none was available when 2 of each was sitting next to the vehicle we were assigned.

My family rented two vehicles for the two families on the trip - one was a Ford Transit that could fit all of us, which was the one we used primarily. Everything was fine with the smaller vehicle. With the Transit... different story. For about 2/3 of the vacation everything was fine. But as we got into the van after doing the activity of the day, we found out that a tire was deflating. After locating most tools - as well as the spare tire - with ease, we realized that there was not a lug wrench with which to remove the spare tire. We called Budget on the companys landline (we were dozens of miles away from the nearest town, no cell service), telling them we needed a tire change. We got through to them and they dispatched a truck, but they were apparently short staffed or everyone was busy, so we knew it would take a long time. Ill keep the struggle of working on the van in the cold rain beyond my complaints with Budget. We had one person manning the office landline for two hours until we got the van working after a kind woman at the nearby campsite offered us to use her lug wrench (the only reason she had one was because she lived out of her van and had basically every auto tool imaginable stockpiled). I kid you not, ***1 minute*** after we replaced the tire, the truck from Budget arrives. Now we were expecting a phone call that he was on his way, because at that point we were unsure if anyone had come, as we had given them the tip to call the landline we were using to contact us. But Budget had given the truck driver my uncles CELL PHONE number (which they had because we had given the name of the reservation in the original call) to call, which we didnt give them because it would not have worked, being so far from any tower. We have nothing for him to do, so he just leaves. Really nice guy about it, though. We drove back to Bozeman to get a replacement van, which was luckily in a ready supply. The two stars is 1.5 for the car that worked perfectly when it was used every other day and the fact that they had NEARLY every tool in the van is a 0.5. The missing 3 is for whoever didnt think a lug wrench was a good idea to have with the other tools (if AT ALL), as well as whatever operator or server that gave the truck driver the cell phone number and not the explicitly mentioned instructions on how to contact in the new situation. I know for a fact that some poor person or family will be stuck for even longer than we were (by the generosity of that woman, only 2 hours) because they have no opportune line of communication if these same mistakes are made by Budget. Improve, now.

Started off getting a car that within a few days needed maintenance so had to take it back to the rental company, wasting 2 hours of our time. The next car a week in had engine problems and had to be towed- we lost a day waiting for all this to happen. 2 month after returning the car we get a letter in the mail stating we owed over $900 for “glass damage”. I know we didn’t return the car with all the windows busted out (windshields only cost 200 to replace), tried contacting company to figure out what damage mysteriously happened costing that much in repairs. No answer- they didn’t care cause they just billed the credit card on file. DON’T RENT FROM BUDGET!!!!!!

When we got the mini-van at BZN airport we were pleased to see our reservation had been honored as requested. BUT, the van had not been properly cleaned. There was a fair amount of trash from the previous renters still in the vehicle: sippy cup, pacifier, multiple open packages of Skittles, a nail clipper, empty little bites packages and lots of crumbs and food particles in cup holders. It was rather gross, especially in light of COVID and cleaning protocols that are supposed to be followed.

If I can Ill give 0 star. We picked up the car at Jackson Hole, found the tank was empty, reported, and the front desk hand-written crossed the fuel tank, added EMPTY 92396 and signed. When we returned the car at Bozeman, we showed the receipt, but still charged for the fuel service. We asked for a solution, and they told me Bozeman Budget and Jackson Hole Budget are independent stores and I should call Jackson Hole Budget for a solution. even worse, the guy said anyone can write something on the receipt???!!!!! This is totally unprofessional and rude. I was so shocked.The resolution could be so simple, they are both Budget stores, I show the receipt and they cancel the fuel charge. I am not sure if they do not want to be helpful, or the management in Budget is just this awful. This is totally a waste of time!!I personally wont use Budget anymore, and hope my horrible experience could be helpful for anyone who intends to use this company or specifically this location. Worst car rental experience ever!!

Sunday night around 8:00pm, the night before our return, we experienced a flat tire in Big Sky, about 50 miles from the airport. I called Budget roadside assistance and they offered to have a tow company come out and change the tire. Unfortunately, that wouldnt solve the problem because the temporary donut tire compartment in the trunk of the Chrysler 300, would not hold the original tire. Meaning that it took up half the trunk, not leaving enough room for our luggage. I offered to change the tire myself and save Budget the cost of have to send the tow company out to Big Sky, but let them know I needed them to come pick up the original tire because it would not fit in the car. The local rep at Belgrade spoke to her manager and passed the message back to me that they would not come out and pick the tire up and that it was my responsibility. So I had to borrow a car from a friend, bring the tire back 50 miles to Belgrade that night at 10:00, drive back to Big Sky to pick up my family and leave for Belgrade at 1:00 am on a temporary tire. Our companies went back and calculated how much we have collectively spent with Budget/Avis over the past decade and the number is over $50,000. We will be moving our rental car business to Enterprise because of the managers decision in Belgrade to refuse assistance in this matter. Remember, you work for a decade and provide decent service and all it takes is one short-sided decision by one of your franchisees to cost your company tens of thousands of dollars in profit. As a business owner I realize how important it is for you to get feedback from loyal customers. Hopefully you can use this to train employees on how not to handle this type of situation. I was and am upset at the way this was handled. I rarely get to this point, but the stress of a failed vehicle with an impending snow storm happening at my departure time, mixed with bad customer service at Belgrade created a lasting impression and not a good one.

I use this rental service professionally, through a corporate account. After several opportunities, they have yet to provide the car we reserved. To add insult to injury, they’re often cosmetically damaged or filthy on the inside. My most recent rental had smashed cans under the front seat and trash in the back seat. It was abundantly clear that no one looked beyond the drivers seat to clean the vehicle. I don’t advise renting here.

I purchased Budget gift certificates in January, then reserved a vehicle in that same month. I was not able to use the gift certificates online, and I was told to simply present them when I picked the vehicle up. When I got to the counter, the Budget counter was closed, but the Avis counter was open so I went there. The woman working advised me that she wasnt able to accept the gift certificate because she was logged in on the Avis side, but I can call and get them applied to my rental. I called the next day and the gentleman I talked to said that this isnt possible, but to try calling customer service. I attempted to call but couldnt get through to anyone. I created a support ticket and explained my scenario, and before getting a final response, returned my rental. At the desk, the man said he wasnt able to apply the gift certificates but to call customer service and ask for a manager because he knows for a fact that they can apply the certificates. Today, I received a response saying that the certificates cant be applied after the contract is closed. This is walking the line between terrible customer service, deception, and stealing. I will be, yet again, calling customer service and waiting on hold for hours tonight to try and get an answer.

I rented a car to drive from Montana to Wyoming in the winter. The windshield washer fluid did not work on the front window, it was horribly out of alignment, and the tires were worn down to the belt. I did not notice the washer fluid until I needed it. I also found out about the tires the hard way. 40 minutes away from my destination the low tire pressure light came on. I pulled over and noticed that the tires were worn so bad they bitterly wore a hole in them. I called roadside assistance and they were completely unhelpful (i would be happy to provide more detail on that). I called a nearby tire shop who was able to help me get on my way safely. I had to pay for this. I dont think I need to tell you how dangerous this situation could have been and it was completely negligent on Budgets part. When you rent a car it should be in full SAFE and working order. I am in shock that this car was allowed to be rented and someone should be fired for not realizing the condition of these tires sooner. This was beyond unacceptable.

Left my phone in the car as I returned the vehicle. I realized this two minutes after dropping the vehicle off. Spoke to the manager at the window and was told they could not tell me if my phone was in the car for are least 20-30 minutes. I asked if they could call the employee who immediately took the vehicle off the lot as soon as I grabbed my bags and was told they have no way of contacting their employees because they dont allow them to use cell phones at work. I returned 20 minutes later and was told no one could locate the phone. I was told it may be another hour before the vehicle is returned to the drop off location.... Less than a minute later, I saw the vehicle being returned to the lot, and after my insistence and luck, I was able to find my phone that was clearly left in the vehicle in an obvious location... Terrible customer service and possibly attempted theft.

I rented a car in January-February 2021. At the time of pickup, there was a crack in the window and a crack in plastic in front of the RPM gauge - I took a photo of both prior to leaving with the car. I told the budget staff about this and they said to just let the people know when I turned it in. I let the staff know at the end of my trip and they told me that they already knew about this and that I would not be charged. 2 months later, I received a charge on my credit card for ~$300 from Budget with absolutely no notification that they were charging me. I called budget and the gentleman on the phone was very helpful and told me the charge was for broken glass and that he would start a case for me to dispute the charge. I will not be booking with Budget-Avis again.

There were Four rental companies beside Budget. There was a few people at Hertz, But we had at least 25 people in line at Budget with only TWO agents and a trainee and at times there was only ONE! It took us over an hour to get our rental!! When we returned a week later there was 12 people in line with the same two agents. Our vacation was cut short by waiting after a long flight by Budget!!!

Buget needs to change key fob batteries once in awhile. The premium SUV that we reserved was a nice GMC YUKON XL vehicle, until we realized that the remote battery was low. My husband thought he had the keys, he locked the car and knew that the key fob was one which the car does not allow to be locked inside. Well, thats when we realized that the keys WERE inside. We called the Budget 1800 number and they told us we had two choices: 1. drive back to the Budget location to get the second set of keys or 2. call roadside assistance and be charged an extra fee. We chose to drive 1 hour to the airport for the second set of keys. Once we arrived, the Budget location had no second set, so our trip was wasted and we had to call roadside assistance anyway. Turns out roadside assistance was able to connect to the car and unlock the door remotely. We went through such as hassle which wouldnt have ever happened if the remote batteries had been maintained.

I paid a lot of money for this rental. When we got the car it was filthy. There was mud all along both outer sides of car. The inside was filthy and had trash and something sticky on the back of both front seats. It was so dirty I went and vacuumed it and cleaned out the inside. I should not have to pay all that money to get a dirty car that has not even been sanitized between uses. What a disappointment!

I returned my car with half a tank of fuel. I am aware of a fuel service fee to fill it, but I was, in essence, charged 10 dollars per gallon, or more. 69 dollars and change was the fuel charge. Fuel is 1.99 per gallon in Bozeman/Helena/Great Falls. I filled the tank there twice. I understand markup for convenience, but this is ludicrous. The two stars is for the amazing and helpful person at pick up of my car. Nothing more.

We booked 2 intermediate SUVs via Costco for a week long stay. We were lucky to get upgraded to a Jeep Wrangler and Kia Sorento. Both were AWD and roomy for all our luggage. The pick-up and return process was very simple at return you just leave the keys in the car and walk away. We got eReceipts in our email the next day. This made catching our flight super easy. The staff were friendly and we had no issues with our rental. We would definitely recommend renting with Budget when in Bozeman.

Let me start by saying i NEVER EVER EVER write reviews. Like ever, but this deserves a review, unfortunately.We just picked up our rental car from the Bozeman airport and i couldn’t have been more disappointed. The little red head behind the desk that checked us in was so rude! She mumbled the entire time and then got mad when i asked her to repeat herself.We had reserved a 4Runner and got an outlander which is fine in a sense, however, when i asked if they had any 4runners, she rolled her eyes and rudely stated they very rarely have those vehicles. Hmm okay great, THEN WHY ADVERTISE THAT YOU DO! Our crew had 4 Big bags + Snowboarding equipment. I could imagine if we had another person with us. Not only that when we walked up to get the vehicle we did see a couple 4Runners which of course irked us even more.Lastly, as the snobby desk lady handed us the keys and the agreement papers, she stated that the car was inspected and there was no noted damages to the vehicle, however, that once the vehicle is left, it is left unsupervised... NO NOTED DAMAGES!! LOL!!!! Everyone be aware of this honestly! I don’t know what happened between the last person and us but we found 7 very noticeable scrapes, dents and chips on the outside of the vehicle and a ton of marks on the inside roof. Make sure to take pictures and note everything, even if you don’t think it’s a big thing, note it.I typically always go with a rental car place or any business, based on 4.0 ratings and above and this absolutely proves why i will continue to do so. This place only had 3.4 stars and it shows. Never again. I will always pay the additional price for the better service.

I booked a Kia Soul online, and when I got to Montana they gave me a Toyota Camry for $153.59 for 4 days. I was given the option of upgrading to a 4wd SUV for $10 more per day, which I did to drive in the snow for a total of $198.18. It turns out the Ford Edge that I got wasnt even a 4wd or AWD and I got stuck in the snow twice. It was front wheel drive. I assumed that it was 4wd/AWD when I drove off in it, but got completely stuck in the snow twice. Once was going up a steep hill in mud and snow, the tires wouldnt budge.

Returning the truck before the office opened was equally done with ease and the price expected to be charged was what was eventually billed from my account. Gave me a great car with a good deal, mileage was average so the car was smooth. They gave me a premium so that was good. Agent was very quick at getting us the car, Ive been to places that took forever to get a car so that was a big benefit, though I didnt get to choose what type of premium, I would rent from budget again in the future

Dudeeeee don’t rent a car from here. There scam artist!!!We rented a car for like 24 hrs. We arrived an they handed us the keys. They didn’t inspect the car at all. We left. We drove around. Returned it the next day before our flights.Then get a letter almost 2 months later saying we’re being charged a $150 cleaning fee for the car being excessively soiled.A month later.No pictures of the the issue. They didn’t even check the car when we returned the keys.A month later.Something Fishy is going on here!!!!Not sure if it’s Managment or the staff but be aware. Pay more for a different company.Don’t rent from them.

I was told misinformation about extra charges several times by several different employees in different locations. All 4 people I spoke to in Belgrade, including Matt and Kelly were rude, unhelpful, and refused to accept the mistake one of their employees made. Rather than work with the 800 number customer service people to resolve my issue and refund my money, they flat out refused to accept any responsibility or help in any way. Even the 800 number customer service person I spoke to said “it sounds like they (the Belgrade counter reps) just don’t want to do it (help you so we can refund you).” Very disappointing. Horrible customer service. I will never do business with Budget again and will encourage others I know to avoid Budget as well.

After stating that i shouldn’t have to pay extra was told that they could make it $5.00 per day. This was my first experience with budget. We were not pleased. The woman who checked us in at the Avis counter was doing her best with a long line of 15 customers waiting. I cannot complain about her. However, the woman who was supposed to be at the Budget counter was nowhere to be found. There was a car full of girls driving around the parking garage and after her 3rd loop around she stopped and asked if we needed help. We rented car seats for our 2 kids and when we arrived to pick up the car seats the woman told us they didn’t have any. So she got back in her car packed with people and drove to a warehouse to go find some. She pulled up with two putrid stained car seats that are most likely as old as I am. Outdated and expired car seats with no base that would NOT pass safety standards today... I will never use budget again. It was such a disaster it took 2 hours after our flight landed with little kids for us to figure out our rental to be disappointed and for my husband to leave me and the kids at the airport to go buy car seats at target. I honestly am in shock as I type this. This woman was so rude to me and irritated that I wouldn’t take th car seat. Not sure who your hiring manager is for the Bozeman Budget but they truly fell short.

We waited almost 2 hours for a Budget Agent to assist us with our car rental. Once we were finally waited on, Budget did not have the premium SUV that we reserved and paid for. No price adjustment was made and we had to settle for less than what we expected. We had to make other arrangements to accommodate our passenger needs. Which led to a very uncomfortable ride for one of our passengers. Poor customer service.

They did not accept our reservation that we made with priceline. The clerk charged us the current rates which was double what we were supposed to pay. Clerk was rude and would not even look at our reservation and told us we should have contacted them instead. Will never use again.

I was given a Van and the front drivers side tire was bald. So bald the medal tread was coming through. I returned the van early. I called Budget - left a message but no response. I was riding with my Grandchildren in a dangerous van. There was also a cracked in the windshield. Not a good and safe experience.

I really liked the car and the pickup was easy, the billing was comparable to other car rental companies but then I got mysterious charges on my credit card without explanation. Budget eould have received a 10 but now u give a 4. Watch out for the unknown charges after drop off. I have yet to receive any explanation or email, text,letter telling me that anything was charged.

I have now made 9 phone calls asking to speak to a manager and was refused! You rented me a car that was filthy on the outside and inside. Tires were nearly bald, wind shield wipers did not work, no wiper fluid, faulty gas gauge and a check engine light on the whole time after being told by a customer service rep and given a case id# that i dont need to clean the car or fill it with fuel when i bring it back (because of the problems i had) and then they charged me $97 bucks to put $10 worth of gas in the car..........worst customer service ever!

The check-out was exceptionally efficient. The initial car that was rented to me had to be returned because of a key fob problem. That process was handled very professionally (and quickly) by the Budget staff by switching me into a second rental. I had that car for a week before returning it to the rental site. The check-in process was amazingly quick and easy. In short, it could not have been a better experience.

Aweful! 1) Told there was FastBeak and there was none 2) returned car on time as scheduled and later billed for TWO extra days. Required several phone calls, and told it would take a week to “check out” and to deal with it and I am still getting erroneous bills on my card from the rental: I have rented cars with Budget for years and they seem to not care about their regular customers. I won’t care to return.

I am giving a 6 is because of the great experience I had when we determined there was a foreign object in our tire and wanted to assure we did not get stranded with a flat tire. I called roadside assistance and they gave me our options. We were able to get the spare put on the vehicle and submit a copy of the receipt. The charges were immediately deducted from our invoice. The entire experience was quick, professional, and entirely what one would expect. That experience actually brought the rating up. The reasons I was unhappy with our Budget experience were 1) We waited in line for an hour and a half to pick up a vehicle I had booked nearly 2 months ago. The Budget counter was closed and we had to go through the Avis counter. Many possible remedies-Budget counter open and staffed, Avis counter could have been running 2 lines the entire time instead of only sporadically, or have a separate line for people who had pre-booked their rental car. It took us longer to pick up our rental car than it did to fly to Bozeman from Denver!!!!! 2) I had booked a mini-van in JUNE because we had 6 adults in our party. When we arrived there was not a mini van available. Instead we got a Tahoe, which they claimed would hold 7 people. There were 7 seatbelts, but part of those 7 people needed to be small children. Leg room in the 3rd row is basically non-existent. Not to mention very limited space for luggage. Thank goodness we only had carry on bags. Had we had large luggage there is no way we could have all gotten into that vehicle. All of this being said, the staff in Bozeman were ALL very professional and helpful. They were doing the best they could in a situation where management and leadership had let them down. This was not communicated by the staff--as stated previously, they were professional, but it was clear to customers they were not given what they needed to provide good customer service. Also-stale french fries in backseat cup holder. Gross.

Ive always rented from Budget in the past and Ive had many great experiences. However, this time, it went terribly wrong. I arranged & prepaid for a rental car at the BZN Airport using the Budget Website over two weeks in advance. When I arrived, the clerk ran my debit card to complete the transaction. She then told me that they cannot accept debit cards. I explained that she can run the card as credit OR debit. She then stated that she couldnt run the card again. She said it was a company policy that she would be fired if she ever ran the same card twice.At that, she stated that there was nothing else she could do. Standing there, with my family & my luggage, I was out of luck despite having prepaid for the vehicle (and having followed all of the exact same steps from previous rentals with Budget).IF YOU EVER RENT FROM BUDGET AT BZN: Make sure you tell them right away: Run my card as a credit card. Otherwise, you will be left standing there with no vehicle.FYI: I called the 1-800 number for Budget three times and eventually got a full refund. But my experience at BZN was terrible.

There was a big crowd of customers at Budget when we arrived. One of the staff member was taking time explaining the policy, fuel surcharge, while I was wondering oh my, this will take long.I am sure she was a genuinely an honest person and knows when she puts bread on her table at home, she earned it honestly and I appreciate that. When it was my turn, the manager who helped me my paperwork was quick and asked the most basic questions and wrapped up my contract in as little time as possible, again an honest gentleman true to his job and doing the right thing.Both these individuals were honest at their jobs and I definitely will go back to Budget/ Avis for my next rental. The Hertz is full of cunning agents, who are sly, coy and dissimulative in communicating the hidden fees.Hope Avis and Budget keep the honest and fair business practice at this location. Cheers, people like you keep this world going and makes us hopeful of better future.

Why? We had one of your rentals and wanted to increase the rental by a week. We had a new car reserved at Budget for this time period so that we could use our Costco membership which we use always when booking cars. I phoned you folks MULTIPLE TIMES to ask you to honor the rate booked online and with a Budget confirmation number so that we did not have to drive 35 minutes, each way, over a mountain pass, at our age (70s) in this very scary and trying time in the world. The fact that you flat out refused (2 telephone agents; 1 telephone supervisor; 2 people at the BZN counter) is deplorable. For the $50-$60 difference in rate, I hope you lose 100X in business based on my online reviews in as many places as I could post them. My 76 year old husband drove to the BZN airport this morning, only to keep the same car, just to say the money at this point. SHAME ON YOU!

To our surprise, a month after we rented a car just for a weekend, Budget is charging us over $500 for a broken windshield. When we returned the car there was never a broken windshield. The Bozeman airport location is under staffed as they did not have any service person meet with us when we returned the car. When we checked in and they gave us the car we noticed a dent and had to go back in to report the damage before taking the car. Again, no service person came out to see it, they just made a note of the damage reported. There is obviously a serious break down in communication and how the damage reports are claimed. If you use Budget make sure when checking in and out you have everything in writing and that a Budget representative comes and looks at the vehicle when you are checking in and returning it.
