We have been with Bell & Hudson since moving here more than 40 years ago but, fortunately, have rarely had a claim. As an independent agent they regularly review our account to get us the best possible rates. When we had damage to our home from ice dams a few years ago they worked with us and negotiated on our behalf with both the contractor and the insurance company to get us the best possible settlement. I really believe they represent our interests. They are also very committed to supporting causes in our community and beyond.

Started out good but quickly wore off. The big turn off was no mileage reimbursement when COVID kicked in and the BS excuse that was given. Looked and found cheaper and better policies elsewhere.

Excellent service. Had to register an out-of-state, leased truck, which was difficult due to the leasing companys recordkeeping, but Christine at Bell and Hudson persevered and the job was completed successfully. Thanks!

The definition of Full Service Insurance agency. I was in between cars and had to re-register my car. At this point, I didnt have the new car registered so they told me I can register the car there and get my plates.At this point, I wasnt able to drive my car yet. So, I walked to Stop & Shop to do some shopping and retrieve money from my bank to pay for the insurance and registration. I called and notified them that I had the money but I need a ride there. The President of the company came to Stop & Shop, picked me up and brought me to their office.When I got there, they took care of everything, insurance coverage, registration and plates. I was all set to drive when I walked out of their office. That is the definition of full service.Matt

Ive been with Bell & Hudson since 1995. Thats over twenty years now. Im on my fifth vehicle with them. The company, and Erin in particular, have gone to bat for me more times than I can remember when Ive made (mostly stupid) mistakes in the past. When Ive had any sort of question, theyve always been quick and patient with the answers. They give me sage and sound advice. They magically save me money when Im not expecting it. They remain a local business with their feet rooted in the community and their fingers on the pulse of everything happening in it. Bell & Hudson is collectively excellent at what they do. It may be true that I could find some huge national chain and shave a few bucks off my bill, but it would never be worth it. I wouldnt dream of it.

My husband and I have been doing business with Bell and Hudson for more than 20 years. I have always been extremely happy with their service. They are extremely knowledgable about all the different types of insurances that are out there. They know you by name, not by a number. They have a small town feel but a big league education. We recently reviewed all of our insurance needs and they were able to save us over $200 a year. They not only are an incredible insurace company but they are always donating to special causes within our community. They run a big fundraiser for the Jimmy Fund every year call the Putt-a-Thon. They are very very active in the community. I am blessed to have an insurace company that looks out for us and cares about the community in which we live. Bell and Hudson has been our go-to insurance agency for our homeowners, vehicles (four of them including two collector cars) and even our rental property insurance for decades now. The entire staff is quite pleasant and courteous...and treat you like you were their only client! The entire operation really shined this past March when my wife and I were forced into buying a new vehicle while vacationing in Florida when our aging vehicle at the time decided to go South on its own volition. Our Bell & Hudson rep, Candace McN., walked us through the daunting tasks of dealing with the MA and FL DMVs red tape while simultaneously getting our new vehicle insured for its journey home to Belchertown---including the overnight delivery of our license plates! Going way beyond the call of duty, Candace continued to follow up with the MA RMV several weeks later--until all of the ts were crossed and the is dotted!!

Have made the difficult process of insurancing vehicles seem so simple and carefree!
