My kids absolutely love this place. Everyone there is amazing, and they truly take the time to get to know every kid and parent. This is exactly what my family needed, only wish we found them sooner.

This place has become such a family to our family! The environment is positive and encouraging while being challenging and innovative. The kids program is full of fun but well disciplined, and at every level, respect for teammates is required, emphasizing safety and helping one another to improve. There are regularly multiple black belts on the mat, and the lineage to the Machados is treasured and tight. I highly recommend trying a free week to anyone remotely interested in jiu jitsu, child or adult!

Carlos macho jiu-jitsu MID Cities is an outstanding facility. It is a great place for our kids to develop their confidence, to exercise, to have fun, and to learn discipline. Ive known Professor Greg Hamilton for many years. I first met him back when he was a purple belt. Ive never seen a person so passionate about jujitsu; also, his ability to apply jujitsu principles in everyday life is very impressive. The building space is brand new and freshly remodeled. Mats are amazing and very large. Theres a kids area for small children to play in, and ample seating for adults. A coffee bar is also available. The coaching is amazing and is taught by two of the most dedicated teachers around. this is not just a place to take Jiu-Jitsu. Its a place to build relationships and community.

I truly cannot say enough good things about this place. My son has been doing jujitsu on and off for about five years and starting at Machado’s in January his passion has grown exponentially. My son has been wanting me to get in jujitsu for years but I’ve never felt comfortable at a studio enough to do it but Greg and Phillip made it so inviting and so comfortable. My youngest son and boyfriend started here when it opened in November. Our oldest son and I started training with them last week. It is a great family activity to do together and has brought us all closer. Not to mention a phenomenal workout! Our youngest loves the kids classes. I started Carlos Machado jiu-jitsu mid cities on November 11th after my youngest son Mateo. There are not enough stats to give this academy. Their thoughtful approach and planning that goes on shows. Ther kids class is nothing short of perfect. Coach phillip does an amazing job and his assistance follow his lead in being there for the kids, whether its a ji five, help with a technique, or helping keep a standard and discipline the kids leave learning important life lessons, social lessons, self defence lessons, and a great time with their freinds. They incorporate games that help with focus and attention, I cant say enough how much I recommend this academy as a place where kids can connect, learn, and play . My daughter loves it and started at 4.
