We called Bedford Tree Service for an urgent maple tree removal job. We have an ongoing landscaping project, during which we found we need to repair our garage wall, but this tree was in the way. I left a message with Bedford Tree, and Steve called us back the same day and even came out that afternoon! He gave us a quote on the spot, and sent the proposal via email that same afternoon. I had received 2 other quotes for the job, and Steves price still came in as the best deal. Bedford Tree was able to come out that weekend, very early morning before their other jobs. They cut the tree down precisely, and ground the stump as close as they could to the wall (the tree was right up against it). No damage was done to any part of our property, and nearly all traces of the tree were gone when they were done. Overall they were prompt, professional and very considerate of our situation. We even received a handwritten thank you card a couple days later. We were sad to lose the tree, but we highly recommend Bedford Tree Service for tree removal and stump grinding needs!

Would not ever recommend this service in the future. Was scheduled for a service the last week in May, signed contract with estimate, then when contacted the company to discuss service was told that they couldnt do the job until July. Couldnt get the owner to call me back, he replied via email and then removed us from their scheduled jobs. Funny because he wouldnt tell me when we were actually scheduled because from what it sounds like is he never actually scheduled us and just promised a service he couldnt deliver on. Now its too late to get anyone else to help us. Extremely disappointed and we didnt do anything wrong. Nor would he correspond to discuss. Dont support this veteran owned company. Service And honor means nothing to him. Way to go Steve

I signed a contract with Bedford Tree Service in October of 2019. They never showed up to do the work. All I needed was two branches removed from my neighbors tree that hangs over my house. I emailed a few times asking for an approximation of when theyd come. No response.

Try Ducharme or Boisvert. Better rates for the same service.

I had BTS come and remove a huge birch tree from my back yard. It was a very overgrown tree in a really difficult position. We called and let them know we needed it removed ASAP and that we were on a budget. They gave us such an amazing deal and came that same weekend. They did an amazing job with the removal and the clean up. You would never even know they were there! They were quick but very careful as well. We had a great experience with them and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much!

Ive had Bedford tree service on 2 occasions cutting down huge trees, they are very professional and did a fantastic job. I would recommend them to anyone. Great family owned business.

Called them one year ago. No one answered the phone or returned my message. Called them a few weeks ago. Talked to someone who said theyd come by. Never showed. Never called. I called and left voice mail and a text message and got no response. Waste of time.

Im so disappointed in this company. They were cutting my neighbors tree down and managed to allow a big branch to take out the lines (electric and cable) to my house as well as some Christmas decorations. I talked to the owner who said he would take care of anything that is broken. I have three broken Christmas decorations and have called him numerous times with no response. So my granddaughter is looking for the deer that moves its head...should I just tell her it got flattened? Would be nice to have this guy step up and do the right thing...Merry Christmas...dont ever use this company.

Had Steve come out to quote a project and we agreed on work and cost. We wanted it done as soon as possible, but first available was 4 weeks out and we agreed on Saturday date. Day before job received a TEXT telling me that they cannot make it out the next day because their current job added work and they would have to find another Saturday, implying the delay would not be a couple of days, but instead a couple of weeks. I expressed my disappointment and requested he provide me a new date as soon as possible. NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN. Incredibly unprofessional. I was treated as if I was a throw-in customer to fill his dead time and not a valued customer. It has now been 10 days since he cancelled by text (not even a call) and I am amazed that nobody has reached out to me to re-schedule or to apologize for the cancellation. I guess when business is going well customer satisfaction doesnt matter. One day it will catch up with a company like this that does not care about its customers.

OK, I so I have tried Bedford Tree service a few years ago, I got a high quote, ended up going with someone who did a good job for less money.My brother just had work done by them and said his price was great, around $700 or so to have a couple of large trees brought down.I decided to give them another chance and called to set up a quote. 9 am was the agreed upon time. The person I spoke with has been in my neighborhood many times and finding my house is not a problem. I received no phone call, just a no show. Im glad I didnt plan my day around them showing up.This is far too common for a contractor to do this and its time people start spreading the word when they are treated like this.
