You can get some really good deals on bulk items... especially food. You have to be a smart shopper however because not everything is a good price. Most people were wearing masks which is good, but there were a handful of a**holes not wearing even though they were passing out free masks at the entrance. I just dont get it.

Well you know birthday coming Friday, ran out of deer steaks. So walk on in found a great deal on tenderloin, I can cut my own mignon. Got us the biggest one. Beautiful 12 dollars a lb or 1499 a lb if already sliced. I know the deer tenderloins lot cheaper. Free around here if ya can shoot a gun

Only 3 self checkouts were working. Only 3 actual cashiers working. All lines backed up at least 5 people deep. Stood in line almost 20 minutes.

This time they didnt have a lot of the things I always buy. Missed getting Oscar Meyer Weiner, no corn, navy blue tee shirt, hot peppers.

Was buying a boxsprings that was at the top of shelves,I received help within 10 minutes,everyone was nice,helpful,and courteous.It was refreshing to be treated like someone special.Thank you Sams Club

Had what I wanted. I was able to get in and out quickly.

Sams online ordering/pickup is one of the more complicated/unstructured ones. This time there was actually a very large issue, but thanks to the helpfulness & friendliness of the people working, I wasnt as upset as I could have been. The system was down & not allowing online orders to be processed, so I had to go inside & have the items scanned & paid for. I was assured my online order would be cancelled & the money refunded. Normally this process would have been very aggrivating, especially after 12 long hours at work. But as I said the staff was wonderful & handled this issue very well!

Pretty nice store decent buys if you watch what youre buying. Also they have a pretty good selection of clothes now. I would recommend giving them a try.

Curb pickup is very slow and they dont get your orders together.

I ordered my grandsons 1st borthday cake 2 weeks in advance. They waited till the night before to call and say that the cake i wanted was no longer available. Ok. So i picked another one. It was an angela that i spoke to. I have the messages saved for proof. Well. I called back that evening to remind them that i needed the cake by 1030 am. They were like sure. No problem. Went there to pick up the cake and it wasnt even made. They had the attitude like ol well. It will just take us like 20 minutes to get it together they stated. Well i had no choice but to wait and was 35 minutes late for the event. Not again will i ever get a cake there. This is actually the 2nd time this has happened to us. Not to mention that when you call there customer service NEVER answers the phone. They have caller id so they know whos calling. So i couldnt even discuss this issue with a manager. Oh and the cupcakes matched the other cake instead of the one i had to settle for. Not a great 1st birthday memory at all

I do use the order online and pick up. Honestly I think Kroger and Walmart do a much better job with the whole process. I picked up today and the associates were not friendly and did not even acknowledge me I spoke to them. I think theyre whole process needs some work.

Long line because of Covid, but moves fast. Clean store. Good selection

They honestly close extremely early. Its not even worth the membership for me I work 8-8 everyday expect Sunday which is 8-6 and they are always closed when I get off. Wish they would just stay open until 10.

As of the Covid-19, there were several people not wearing masks. They were very crowded when I went in and the social distancing was not being done what so ever. I have had good experiences with the Sams Club at Beckley over the past two years. Especially the Tire & Auto department! All staff have been friendly and helpful. Professionalism is evident. This was not always the case. Two years ago a change for the better occurred. Keep it up, Beckley Sams!

Was a line to get in and a line going out. And I personally think its a waste of my time that they have to scan my receipt

Once youve seen one Sams Club, you can be pretty certain what youre going to get the next time. A few individual thoughts here: I have heard its a crummy place to work, but I have no personal experience. The parking lot is large, well striped and thankfully absent of potholes. The location is convenient to major highways, particularly I 64. A word of caution : this store is situate on the top of a man made hill and very windy and cold in the winter.

Clean, well run and organized. Using the check out app while shopping, get me out of the door the moment I finish scanning my items.

It’s also nice to have the option to grab a quick hot dog/slice of pizza before grocery shopping so we don’t over spend because we are hungry. Great selection of baby & kid’s clothing as well as men’s golf shirts.. Much better prices than Walmart. You can even load your groceries under the covered pick up area if it’s raining. Lots of perks to being a PLUS Member.

Most days I have a great experience at Sams. There is on cashier I avoid like the plague though. She is incredibly rude. Besides her I have never had an issue.

Huge store with a great variety of products. You can find almost everything at Sams! Its a Large Sized Familys 1 Stop Store for buying all their bulk sized needs!

Went shopping 10am with my mom, it was fairly crowded. The cashier was good.But the young man who worked carts was amazing. We needed help as we had several heavy items. He was very polite and eager to help us. Kudos go out to him. Wish I knew his name.

All though there is no place that is perfect, this Sams steps ahead of most all, in different states, that Ive been to. Enjoy when your a member in Beckley, WV.

They make the best cakes that nobody else around has including licensed cakes 4 cartoon characters and such. You can special order from literally hundreds of cakes including wedding and birthday from One tier 2 I believe 3 or 4 tier. So many different icings. They have good cookies and croissants along with so many other things. The staff is very friendly and will work with you if youre on a short notice Within 24 hours or so. They also keep in stock cakes of different flavors at all times and cupcakes. Great prices to beat!

Place is awesome as always...ppl are nice and friendly even through the crisis we are in... My only complaint would be there was NO Diet Mtn Dew lol... But its all ok

Several things happened at Sams for this Five star rating. Firstly the person at the information desk was very pleasant. Then when I ordered a pizza everyone was very nice. My pizza had the right amount of toppings. It was fantastic.

We love to come here to buy stuff once a week or sometimes more. We always seem to find stuff we need or sometimes not what we need. The staff are always helpful and friendly good place to shop for all kinds of things and quality.

They took out 6 handicap parking and put in 6 pick-up parking. I cant find any parking now!Also stop limiting 1 per person on items. You are a bulk store! I wont be renewing my membership!😪

This is a great Sams Club. They are also community driven. They are always doing things with local organizations. The people who I’ve dealt with here are very helpful. This Sams Club location is very well stocked and I’ve never had a bad experience here. If you need anything from fried rice to 32” curved monitors, and you have a membership, this is THE place to go in Beckley.

Great employees and great store, parking lot is busy and the persons who created the parking lot need to stop the flow in front of the store of traffic not part of Sams Club as some continue to run the obvious Stop sign there and run through the pedestrian walk while persons are in there. Other than that quick in and quick out.

There foods are good, and the free samples are great. Also the bathrooms are kept very clean.

Parking can be a pain some times but the costumer service is exceptional! A very clean place to shop (even the restrooms are great). Great prices on bulk products. As with any store some things are more expensive than other places but not many items are this way.

An excellent Sam’s Club. Have been a resident in the area for many years and this place always offers a consistent experience. The prices are as good as you can get and in some cases are better than Amazon. What really stands out at this location is the Tire department. They truely stand by their product and will go out of their way to help. They have worked on tires and wheels they didn’t even originally sale just to do the right thing. They will stand by a tire warranty without question. The guy with the poney tail, josh?, is the most pleasant individual you will find in a tire store. A far better experience than other local places. Besides that I also find the meat at Sam’s a bit higher quality than other grocery chains and have had decent luck with their live plants and bulbs.
