Recently dealt with James Davidson at Blue Ridge Funeral Home after the passing of my Father. The meeting for the arrangements went very smoothly and the service at Blue Ridge was very nice. James and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of during that time. They have my gratitude and my highest recommendation.7 months later my mother also passed away. The experience with Blue Ridge this time also exceeded my expectations. Gary Diehl and David Tobias have my utmost gratitude for their compassion and efficient handling of the arrangements and services. When I should need these services again, I know that I will be very well taken care of. Thanks to all who made that day better.

Blue Ridge provided outstanding service during the recent funeral of our mother. They were compassionate and helped us through this very difficult time.In addition their presentation of Mom provided a peace and encouragement.I would recommend this group of people to any one dealing with a loss such as ours.

This place is awesome. My father passed unexpectedly of a heart attack. The staff at BlueRidge was super to deal with on arrangements and they included private burial open and close. Theyve been in touch with me and my mother almost daily to see if we needed anything. They stepped above and beyond what I expected and even though I dont want to think of the circumstances but Id recommend. To you and me in the future. Yall are awesome .

My brother-in-law passed away the previous weekend and we have been absolutely distraught trying to plan. I am from out of town and found Blue Ridge on Google listings.They were beyond understanding and helpful with our current situation and gave us tons of options and helped make the experience super smooth even when it felt like the universe was against us. Definitely use them before any other funeral homes in the region because they treated us like family!

They were very helpful in every way. Took their time in explaining details & each process to me & my family. They continued to serve me even after the funeral was well passed. The only complaint I had was because of the virus, we opted for the grave site funeral only. They did not let us know about our bookmark obits of my mom that you give out, were on the ground. So we were unable to give them out. All in all they were great to us. Thankyou Blue Ridge.

Blue Ridge has been in my family for over 50yr the staff is very professional and thoughtful So if you are looking for eternal resting blue ridge funeral home is the place you will want to go to they keep everything very well groomed and it is just beautiful there And I just want to say thank you to the whole staff

What a disrespectful place to lay your love ones to rest.My mom passed away June 6 2019.My dad had paid for everything in cash 18 years ago.After taking care of everything and meeting with the Funeral home.We had talked about what was to be written on moms marker. And everything was finalized.After selling the house on November 12 2019.And moving out of state.On February 9 2020 I went to pay my respect to mom and pop.And there was no marker on moms side.Almost 8 months later with no phone call or ever a letter.When I called they told me the lady that worked there forgot to get me to sign.What if nobody came there we would have never know.Just another corporate business with no respect.I wouldnt buri my dog there.

At first, we were very disappointed with the services regarding cremation gifts for our family. It took longer than it was suppose to and we were never told anything about updates. However, the service we were given by the staff was excellent in regards to my mother. The owner made up for all the delays and at the end of the day, we were very satisfied.

I used the link on this website to order flowers for my aunts funeral, I paid an extra fee so that the flowers would be delivered the day before the service just so I could make sure they arrived on time. Not only did they not get delivered on the promised day, they were never delivered. I spent time on the phone with their customer service reps, who were really hard to understand obviously English was a struggle for them to speak or understand, the day before I was assured that they would get my order their before the funeral service. I called the day of the service, and was told that my flowers were being delivered that very moment. My flowers never arrived. I was out of state so I had to get my father to verify that the flowers were not at the service. I called the customer service and was told a refund would be on my account in 3-7 days. But I really just wanted the flowers to be there. It was the only way I had to honor my aunts passing because I live in another state and couldnt get there. That opportunity has passed and thanks to crappy floral services Ill never be able to make up for this.

This is a very lovely looking place and is perfect for anyone looking for burial in the ground. I would not recommend it if you want to be place either yourself or someone else in the mausoleum. This is because of their visiting system. I understand that they have had vandalism before, but it is very hard (especially if coming from out of town) to visit your loved ones. Online it says they are open 24 hours but that is only the outside part of the burial site. To visit the mausoleum you have to get a ket from a worker as you enter and return it when you are leaving. The hours that you can do this is what upsets me. On Mon-Friday you can do this only until 5pm, so people that work cant visit most of the time. On Saturday you can only visit 9-noon in the morning. On sunday you cant visit at all. My grandfather was buried here and we came up on saturday morning the weekend before christmas to visit the family and go see him. When we went to visit at 4pm and saw they closed at noon, especially on a saturday before a big holiday when lots of people would come this upset both me and my father. I would love to see some changes made to the system like a keypad put in and each family would have their own code (so the mausoleum would know who was there if anything happened).P.S. - We only figured out this information then because my grand-dad had only passed a week earlier.I would love to see comments from the mausoleum on what could be done, and others experiences.
