I am so glad this organization is on track for getting the funding and community support it needs. Im a serial plunger (the annual Polar Plunge fundraising event) and Im always inspired by the young athletes I see out there, participating and very cheerfully taking the plunge along with us more grumbly grownups ;-). A wonderful organization.

Ive had a great experience with special Olympics and the organization is needing our financial help right now. Im a special Olympics athlete and it makes me very angry to see or hear about big fat rumors on social media. Instead of using social media as a venting mechanism why dont you people help with fundraising for special Olympics. I have been an athlete for 21 years and counting and in Jackson county its a really sad turn out for fundraisers, what a huge embarrassment. Its very sad that all everyone wants to do is spread rumors and run the organization into the ground because thats what is happening. How disappointing for a bunch of athletes and selfish that no one wants to help with fundraising for special Olympics. What a huge disgrace
