Average and will cost you more money for shipping physical items you need like credit cards. Good for security (mail doesnt sit in your mailbox) terrible for anything government or bank related. Many gov. agencies like my city water bill, banks, and state tax authorities refuse to use or send to a PO box. They are ignorant and they dont care, but its cost me hundreds of dollars in fines and penalties because they wont ship notices to Earth Class (even though Ive told them!) they wont email, but they will send you to collections. Two stars. Mixed due the rampant ignorance of many financial and gov. organizations. The water bill notice below is perfect example. Its due on the 25th of Feb. I still have nothing in the mail and often it will arrive at Earth Class after the due date. US Postal Service incompetence and gov. organization I dont care attitude.

I have been a member of ECM for about 13 years. The initial interface was easy and simple to use. The recent updates are in my opinion non-intuitive, complicated, do not work if you are out of the country and generally a huge step backward. I used to be able to run through my mail every few days and drop what I wanted to save into a shipment to be added to and shipped at a future date.... no more. Customer support is non-existent and when, after 14 years I closed my account I didnt even receive a Thanks for being a long standing customer. Not all progress is an improvement!

Ive been using this service for about four years, and it WAS very good up until a month or so ago. They have gone completely off the rails and it is nearly impossible to get any customer service. There are too many issues to list here, but heres a sampling:-They have been loosing scans that I was saving, and the new interface is unusable and doesnt function.-Over 50 items, some from over a year ago have shown up in my inbox, but important scans I was retaining for reference are gone. Uh...On the new interface:-Delete function no longer works: I select Actions when viewing an item, and then select Shred from the pop-up menu, but nothing happens and the item is still in my inbox.-Full shipping address not in system: The c/o addressee that I have and see in the old interface doesnt appear in the new interface, even when I re-enter the shipping address. So... that function, which is important to me, is no longer available.-Scan grayed out: When viewing an item, Scan is grayed out (and no... Ive not already scanned the item). Uh... this is sort of a basic functionality of the service that no longer works.-Biz address in personal inbox: Ive had a second addressee/inbox set up up for four years to sort two different recipients, and that no longer works on the new interface.I wouldnt be writing this review if I could at least get a customer service response that was more than: Thanks for taking the time to write to us. We understand that our new website takes some getting used to and that we still have some improvements to make. Our Development team is working around the clock looking for ways to improve our users experience and ensure there are no bugs on our new site. I have forwarded your feedback to our Development team on how they can improve our interface.Unable to speak with a rep in person. Email responses from them are vacuous at best. And they are by far the most expensive Virtual Mailbox out here. Im shopping for a new virtual mailbox.Hows that for a confidence builder, eh?

Ive been a customer of Earth Class Mail (ECM) for many years, but the recent more-than-doubling of their prices (from $14.95 to $29 and now to $79!) has forced me to move to another better, cheaper provider (Anytime Mailbox). The last time ECM doubled their prices (in 2017, shortly after their bankruptcy) they committed in writing that us loyal customers would enjoy a lifetime credit for an extra address and should accept the change on the basis that we will not be excluded from new features and improvements in the future. Not even a year later they instead reduced service levels, claiming it was not an economical business model. Then a year after that (September 2019) they reneged on their lifetime promise, instituting a huge 70% price increase and charging for addresses. As if that wasnt enough, the premium San Francisco address is itself a forwarder, meaning that my packages are more often than not being rejected; this service currently costs $109/month before usage fees! To add insult to injury, Ive just learned from another irate customer that they plan to continue charging me for 6 months after I leave, but theres no point discussing with them as they will just refer to clauses buried deep in their terms. The best way to avoid the disruption and expense Im experiencing now is to avoid signing up in the first place; there are plenty of other, better options out there.
