Local, convenient location.Fast and friendly service both times Ive rented here. The woman working yesterday morning was especially efficient.Beautiful, clean, well loaded hybrid Toyota mini van. Excellent gas mileage!Second time Ive rented from this location, using a great Costco discounted rate. Will definitely use again when needed.

If you go for the cheaper Pay Now option when you reserve online, they will confirm your reservation, charge your credit, then tell you they have no cars when you arrive to pick up your vehicle. Then they will give you a customer service number that *you* have to call to tell them the situation and make sure you dont get a cancellation charge. And the young person working the counter acted like she could not care less about her job or how upset the customers are. Wish I could give this pace zero stars.

My experience was stress free and a very pleasant experience. I liked the text messages on reminders of picking up my vehicle and I was not overwhelmed with messages. I was able to pick up vehicle quickly and it was spotless and ready with a full tank of gas. The drop off was even quicker and the staff made me feel welcome and assured that they would take care of everything. They only asked that the tank was full (gave them the gas receipt from closest station) and for the keys, then I was on my way. I even got a text when they were done checking vehicle in. I really appreciate the staff and business😊

The experience was overall good. As an area of improvement I would suggest you staff the locations better. Only one person was there when I picked up rental and when I dropped off rental. This lead to us having to wait longer than usual both times. Also may be best to offer the newest year model or nicest car instead of the customer having to inquire about it first.

Good customer services, not enough car to rent , they need more cars if they want to grow their business, there’s not enough cars for rent in the state of Alaska.

The operator of the SW Canyon location in Beaverton, OR was very accommodating. When my plans changed and I needed a car for several hours a day earlier than my reservation, he offered me a van at a reduced rate. When I returned the van the next day, I had a great 5-door Kona waiting for me. He took very good care of me. It was worth taking MAX from the airport to Beaverton.

0 STARS is more appropriate. When given the opportunity to make things right 5 different Budget representatives would not. The vehicle i was given was not safe for travel of any kind. The oil maintenance required warning light was lit, the back seat would not fold down due to a missing part, hibeams did not work, cruise control kept slipping out, the back window would not close. I explained that i was moving to California and brought these things to the attention of the Beaverton Budget agent as well as several of Budgets customer service agents. I was directed to a different budget in the middle of the night that was not open then another at dawn that was not open. When i tried to drop off the vehicleat 4:45 well before 6pm which I was told was closing time, there was no drop box and I did not have a ride any other time. This was the most terrifying, stress filled and traumatic situation for me. How could a company put me in such an unsafe vehicle and still charge ME for the experience?

Rented a truck a month out so we could move across the country. The day we were going to pick up the truck we get a call from an extremely rude woman at this location to let us know they never got the truck and there was nothing they could do for us. She was very condescending and didn’t try to help us at all just kept saying there was nothing she could do but told us to call the other Budget places and see if they have a truck available. When I asked why she didnt already do that she responded with “I don’t get why you can’t do that.” EXTREMELY RUDE!! Did not try at all to work with us and find a solution. She also said, “Well I have it in my file someone was supposed to call you yesterday and tell you that we didn’t have the truck but they forgot.” Like that would help. Go to the Budget in Portland, much nicer! Total idiots here.

This is the worst place to rent from.. Do not go here!!!I made a reservation three months in advance and these people tell me we have no truck. Not just me but it was like 10 customers waiting to rent their truck and we could not get one. No one called to let me know, just absolutely ridiculous and a complete waste of time. Never again. People do not rent from Budget!

I dont know why Ive read so many bad reviews, on this place... Ive rented cars from them multiple times, now. And I have never had an issue. I get there, they get straight to the point and get me out of there pretty quick. Have even gotten upgraded, because they were out of the car I originally picked. Guy is nice. Pleasant experience. The process to rent the car went smoothly. The car was not totally clean on the inside, but not too bad. The clerk was friendly and efficient. She may consider wearing clothes that cover her cleavage considering some people might feel uncomfortable with that.

The person in the office was very good at her job. She engaged with me and helped me know about your Ultimate Test Drive program.

Dont expect any customer service. I had to call corporate since they are unable to provide end user a receipt.

Dont go to Budget or Avis. They will rip you off with outrageous charges. Last month we made an extension over the phone for the car we were renting. After returning vehicle I saw a charge for $600 exact dollars. They said last extension was not processed correctly and the charge was $800 for the last week when we paid only 700 for three weeks prior. This is total robbery. I feel as if they came into my house and stole money out of my wallet. This is not cool and I am going to do everything in my power to get this money back and hopefully get a news broadcast about the company that steals during the Corvid-19 pandemic. Good day. I booked a reservation for a 26 foot truck over a month ago. I called the day before to confirm the truck was there with my reservation. I was assured it was and ready for me. I showed up at 850 for my 900 pick up to be told there are no 26 foot trucks in the area and I could get 2 x 16 foot trucks for the same price......this is unacceptable. Unfortunately they did not care at all. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I placed my rental reservation. Went to the store to pick up my rented SUV. They didnt have what I had reserved. She offered me a giant van instead. No thanks. The clerk at the location said I would need to call customer service as she couldnt cancel my reservation herself. She then proceeded to give me the customer service number for AVIS even though she was looking at my Budget rental contract. I had to call AVIS for them to tell me it was the wrong number. So, my plans are now on hold and I had to sit on the phone for half an hour or more. I will say cancelling on the phone was easy enough, hopefully my money will be refunded. Also, during a pandemic and when the signage at the store mandate masks (which I am ALL for), the clerk was unmasked. There is a plastic barrier, but not in the correct location as it was to the side of where business is conducted. Its really quite useless.We normally use another car rental company, and Im remembering why.

My last time renting a car there. He tried to charge me for gas. After I filled it. The cars that I hot from there were nice.

Reading some of the other reviews this location didn’t even sound like the same place.I was lucky enough to pick up and drop off during week days so I was the only one at the counter and had a decent selection of cars. Paperwork was quick, rates competitive.

Best advise: Please avoid this location.Very bad experience. Never going back to Budget again. There is only one person to help and it took 2 hours to checkin. He said he needs to fill up the gas(gas station is very near by) which took him 1hr to return back and said the gas stations are busy. He also screwed up the billing while returning the car and said he will adjust it for us which never happened.

My wife and I made a reservation a month in advance, I. Was contacted today, the man named Mark said that her would have to cancel my reservation, because he would not have any inventory until after the first of the year. I planned whole mine around getting that truck. They are not professional and he suggested that I use another confidant company. DONT USE THIS COMPANY!

Worst car rental company Ive ever dealt with, zero customer service, zero accountability. This place is more than happy to take your money and run. I am thoroughly disappointed. Not going there ever again.

I am currently standing in the office at 10385 SW Canyon Rd, Beaverton, Oregon. When I came in to pick up my car that I prepaid for, I was told I had to pay an upcharge for all four days because I was 40 minutes early. When I refused, the employee told me I had to wait then and went back into the office. I am now standing here alone in the empty lobby, with no other customer in sight, while the employee sits in the back making me wait out of spite.I cannot think of another rental business that treats customers like this.

Budget is always my preferred! and this location is perfect for me! I always prepay online to get their best prices! Their vehicle selection is great and hes cool if you want to double check if the size is right for you. I sign up for their fast break services so that 90% of my paperwork is always done... then when i pick up its just ID, credit card, sign, keys and Voila!

As said in other reviews, only one employee was working when I went. However, Jordan was extremely helpful and responsive. Best experience Ive had yet with Budget

I was there waiting for an hour! They just had one person working and there was 6 people waiting in the line. I left and cancel my reservation since we had to wait entire night to get the car. I do not recommend this place!

SEAN was friendly and very Professional...He got me a truly unbelievable rate for the week. I was in and out in 15 Minutes,If i ever find myself in need of a rental car again ,SEAN will be the only person I will call. And i will tell all my friends about his Great Service.

Booked the reservation online, picking up and dropping off the vehicle went very smoothly. Used a coupon code, so got a great deal and a free upgrade. The staff was very helpful and offered some solutions to some travel issues I was having unrelated to the car rental.

The office is cluttered, the agents are usually very busy, and there is a darn good reason. They have great deals and are always very helpful. And most important, they dont try and push a bunch of services I dont need.

Quick and easy car check out process, with really good daily rental prices, especially when you make your reservation ahead of time online through a discount site or smartphone app. Economy vehicle was surprisingly roomy...and got the best gas mileage I have ever seen! Only complaint; no cruise control! Basic model (manual transmission and door locks, etc) Im ok with, but if I rent a car, I probably need cruise control for taking the long boring road trip I am getting a car for in the first place. A good experience, though, overall.

Prepaid Online for 4 days... it cost me $371 for 1 day... I found & bought a car. Returned rental 1 day later. Because I PrePaid. I get NO REFUND. To me thats Theft. Ill Never rent from them again.

These guys have incredible deals compared to Portland Dealerships. I guess Portland taxes really bump up the cost of renting cars? Ive rented from this place three times, and only had blood covering part of the car once, which I guess is a pretty good record. My SO wasnt very pleased having to sit in the blood, but they refunded us a significant amount of the money. The guy that works here works his ass off, and he has a good attitude, so Ill keep coming back. But you better believe I bring a blacklight with me now for fluid inspection! Also Ive ended up with really cool cars even after opting for the cheapest ones, so theres that. So, in summary, other than the blood found, this place rocks!

Sean and his staff are very customer oriented. I rent frequently and this is my first choice for when I have a vehicle need. Good people who work hard to make it happen.

I rented a truck at 15.99 per day. I was charged for that day and 57 miles. Only thing is, I only moved down the street and made one trip. I just calculated it myself and only drove 11 miles. I went in to the store and the guy refunded me 25 miles. Unfortunately, that still has me paying for 21 too many miles, which is $11.55! Wont be using Budget ever again. Just go to U-Haul. They wont rip you off and I assume they know how to read an odometer, unlike the people at Budget. Oh I also called their customer service and they were useless.

Its a shame that this is the closest truck rental place to our business. We would have used them too, except that they arent willing to be helpful if they make an error. No, I dont want to wait until the next day to get my rental. No I dont want to drive 30 miles out of my way to get my rental. If I have reserved it from the internet, and its not there, it is YOUR responsibility to make it right by offering me the same or better product at no additional cost. Your management is ridiculous, its no wonder your store looks as run down and shoddy as your customer service is.

Typical Sunday drop off at budget, long line, wait over 30 mins just to drop off, parking lot over flowing, one employee working at desk, no one to wash and clean cars, offering other customers dirty cars, only with a sorry. Felt bad for the employee, but he needs to tell his company and his manger to go screw them self, if your going to make me work alone.reason I only rent from budget is cause it is the only one of two car rental near me that is open on a Sunday, and the other is way more expensive

Unprofessional location and he is Sean. There is a sign and it says no argument with full tank return and no one pays for you. I tried to make sure that it is not full tank, but they argued me when I rented it...not return it....if you want to experience terrible service.....meet Sean and I will report him to c/s.

It was ok but they shoved unneeded insurance down our throats.

The service at this location was unacceptable. no one acknowledged me when I walked in either to rent the vehicle or to return it. When I went to rent my car there were a few people in front of me one of them being a corporate customer. I was waiting to pick up my car that was already paid for no one had acknowledged me and the person waiting on the corporate customer said I will go out and vacuum your car for you without even acknowledging that I was waiting to pick up a car. Very poor customer service.

Go to the U-Haul up the street instead. I reserved a truck online. They didnt have the truck available, and were not willing to rent me a larger truck at the same price due to their error. This is the second time Ive been disappointed by Budget. I will not bother with them again.

This was such a stressful experience. First, after reserving the car (weeks in advance), I called to ask if I could pick up the vehicle one hour early. No one answered. I tried calling again; no one answered. I called yet again and did get a person who put me on hold, then the call immediately hung up on me. Called again and got their national help line, followed all instructions to get a representative, and then THAT hung up on me. Thank God that I reserved through Expedia, because I called them and they called Budget on my behalf, and that managed to get through. Could I pick up the car early? No, but I could show up early to try to pick it up if available early.Fast forward to day of: I show up 45 minutes early. Staff person (there is only 1, on a SATURDAY MORNING) does not acknowledge me. There are multiple people in line but no system for lining up, so I have to ask other customers whats going on. At 9 am (the time I originally reserved for) there are still multiple people in line. And one staff member. And 0 acknowledgment of other customers. I cant imagine what the situation would be like if I had not shown up early.Was this annoying? Yes, but I was completely blown away by what happened next. I got to the counter and wouldnt you know, the staff person rented every single van out to the people ahead of me, despite the fact that I reserved one almost a month in advance. No more 15 passenger vans. But WAIT: there was a van that didnt get inventoried! Hooray!No. NOT HOORAY. Because, guess what? THE KEY IS MISSING. And the new driver who supplied it to the business LOST HIS PHONE. Oh, did I mention that theres still one staff member? And at least 10 new people in line? Finally, I just left. No van.The best part is that this was for my bachelorette party, and several of my friends came in from other states just for the event.Thus, my advice to other customers is RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK! Or maybe just avoid Budget at all costs (pun freakin intended).
