Mountainwood Homes allowed my wife and I to fulfill our dreams. They were wise ,supportive,and great listeners as we went on our journey of building a custom home for ourselves and our dogs. We contracted with Mountainwood Homes to redo our master bathroom. We picked them based on the positive comments they had from other prior clients. We started the project before Covid-19 hit. As a result, the project took longer than expected to complete due to difficulty in getting materials delivered from overseas. Throughout the project, the Mountainwood team (Cory - Project Manager, and Sierra - Designer) did a great job helping us with design/material selection, keeping the project moving forward, adjusting subcontractor schedules to move up the project when they could, communicating with us, and dealing with a couple of design changes we wanted. The completed bathroom looks great. The cost of the project was more than other quotes received, but the final product, professionalism, and project management of the Mountainwood team validated the higher cost. We would definitely use them again for future projects.

Mountainwood Homes did a fantastic whole house remodel for us. We recently had purchased a 30-year old home that needed the Mountainwood touch. Their experience and expert craftsmen created a new home for us. Due to the overall updates, we chose not to live in the home during the remodel so their efficient communication was greatly appreciated. They supervised everything so we didnt have to be there. As an interior designer and serial personal home renovator, Ive experienced my fair share of bad contractors. MountainWood Homes was a dream to work with. From the beginning their approach was personable and direct, wanting to get to know me as well as give me realistic estimates on my multiple projects. They were absolutely wonderful to collaborate with because I certainly came in guns blazing with fairly concrete ideas of what I wanted and they kept those ideas in the forefront while also helping me keep within budget. Meetings with the team were cheerful and very clearly presented. Jean, the interior designer, was a joy to shop with. We had our staircase, kitchen, dining room bar, and four bathrooms renovated largely over the summer while we were out of town. While we were gone they kept us perfectly abreast of schedules, progress and change orders. Chad, our project manager, even provided us with daily log pictures and clearly communicated any issues and questions that came up. When we returned, we found our projects nearly in the wrap up stage. Our punch list was taken care of promptly and MountainWood Homes even provides a 2 year warranty on their work!!! I mean, wow! They were uber professional and Id be absolutely pleased to work with them again!
