I have been a State Farm customer for nearly 42 years. The agent I previously had retired last year.Without any consent from me, my account was (sold, I assume) to Ms.Memdoza. Since she acquired my account she has not even take the time to contact me to introduce herself, check in with me to see if I’d like to make any policy changes or even just to provide me with contact info for her office.I called the agents office about 3 months ago regarding my vehicle getting rear ended on the freeway because I needed information on what I should do since I was not at fault. I was basically told to take it up with whatever agent the driver had that caused the accident, oh, and good luck.Today my phone showed a missed call from her office. I called back and was greeted by an answer machine. I left name and number and asked that they call back if whatever was important.When the representative called me back, he said he wanted to check in and commented about all the vehicles I have on policy with them. Then he starts into why he really called, and the sole purpose of that was to sell me life insurance.My phone number was not made available to them for the purpose of “Cold call sales”. After finally getting the agent to stop trying to talk over me, I ended the phone call.State Farm has been a fantastic company that I chose and pay monthly to represent me if I have the unfortunate need. I do not need cold sales calls.Due to this event, the lack personal service prior when the account was transferred, I’ll be looking for another agent that actually knows what customer service is and how apply it to their chosen profession.I encourage you to purchase State Farm products, just choose an agent that actually knows how to be an agent.

After all was said and done, I now have insurance on both of my vehicles PLUS homeowners insurance with additional coverage up to 1-million dollars for a monthly total less than what I was previously paying for just car insurance alone. The customer services is terrible they barely answer the phone or mails. I got extra fees everytime without explanation. When I called them they kept saying the same thing for months that I paid late it wasnt true because I made on time my payments. I canceled my policy weeks ago and still getting bills for $276.00 when the guy who works there said. You wont have more charges

If it wasnt for this office, I may not even have gotten insurance through State Farm. Finding assistance with their national numbers or website isnt so smooth, but fortunately the folks at Sarah Mendozas office are very helpful, respond promptly, and are a pleasure to work with.I needed to retrieve some updated insurance information, and when my online account access was giving me trouble, Rey was super helpful and got back to me straightaway with what I needed.
