Filing your taxes with UAI accounting pays for itself. Mr. Updegraff not only did a phenomenal job saving me lots of money on my taxes, but he also went through the taxes done for me by HR block and found me even more savings on my past filings!Best of all, he is very responsive and easy to reach via his website chat feature. I was expecting to not hear from him for a couple of days but got a response just a few minutes later.

I usually do my own taxes but this year with a home sale I thought it best to use UAI services. The whole thing took about 30 minutes. I will use UAL in the future when the situation warrant their expertise.

I highly recommend UAI. My taxes were too complicated for me to do on my own, and tax software seems so sketchy whisking you through complicated details. I chose to go with UAI based on positive reviews I read, and they proved accurate. Stephen is incredibly professional, courteous, easy to work with, and a very friendly guy. His fee was a drop in the bucket compared to how much he saved me by identifying mistakes that I had made trying to figure things out on my own. Seeking Stephens expertise is a decision Im glad I made.

I needed a new accountant for my business after my previous firm was going downhill in service (of course I dropped them and found out within a week by mail that they were merging into another firm which explained so much). Have been using his services for 6+ months now, has been more than fair on pricing compared to previous experiences, and has handled all of our taxes very well. As a small business owner, a good accountant is a huge asset to have in your corner and I am very happy with my decision.

I shopped around for the best prices. He told my dad and me he would not charge for getting the transcript in the first meeting. I told him h and r block said they would charge 150 for that and he jokingly, maybe I should charge you then. Then laugh. At the ended he charged me. If he was honest about the prices I would not have went with him. I would have been fine going somewhere else for the same price. It’s just dishonest.Response to his response: You are lying. You told one price then charged us way more. Don’t tel me a price then take back the “discount”. Plus you added something to the bill that you said you don’t charge for!! You are not giving me a break by price matching someone else then afterwards uping the price. You did not immediately refund. At first you defended yourself and wouldn’t refund me. Then I came back in and you refunded me partially. You shouldn’t be able to regret your first offer and charge me more

This is our second year with Stephen, and we couldn’t be more impressed. HR Block repeatedly made mistakes on our taxes so we sought out a CPA. After several years of CPAs, we finally found Stephen. He always goes above and beyond to take care of us, even mailing out the multiple city tax forms for my husband who is a realtor and has to file with multiple cities. It’s also worth mentioning that he charges us half of our last CPA. We’ll keep coming back as long as he is here because you can’t put a price on being confident that your taxes are done correctly. UAI just prepared our taxes and did a wonderful job. First off, I am not an accountant and they speak in normal-person-language. We had several complex issues to deal with. Steve presented us with our options, and what he recommended we do, he was easy to understand. I would recommend these guys to anyone, they do good work.

Just Say It! hired UAI to get us switched over to a new accounting software, as well as take over doing our company taxes. He is trustworthy, knowledgeable, helpful, and so very patient while teaching me to use Quickbooks (at a reasonable price). He has started doing my payroll as well.
