Total dedication by Master Tran to the art as well as his students! He takes a very hands on approach and knows how to meet them where they are at in their learning and push them to recognize their potential (and beyond). He has always makes himself available before and way after class to make sure you understand what you are doing and how it applies to being better in the sport. His passion for his studio and teaching his students is unmatched. Great facility and very dedicated staff (and students) to help you learn. I would highly recommend Master Tran to anyone looking to get into the sport.

So very impressed with Master Tran! He is a master at challenging the students and they respect him to the point that they will try beyond their current capabilities to reach his expectations. The instructors/coaches are wonderful as well and all of them are great with the children. As far as working in a classroom during covid - he has taken this task seriously. I miss being in the classroom to watch, but it really makes perfect sense and all the parents follow the protocols to protect ALL those performing.

We have trusted Master Tran to be an example of fairness, strength and community for our daughter for over 9 years... and we have not been disappointed. His teachings in TKD & Jiu Jitsu, along with all his guest instructors and student instructors embrace foundational martial arts teachings, plus add fun and encouragement. The students root for each other and embrace positivity and inclusivity... with Master Tran, their fellow students and their parents (who often come to watch and enjoy the classes) as leading examples. This is a martial arts school that you can take your children to that will be safe and where they will learn life lessons to make them respectful and stronger, both mentally and physically. Our daughter has spent formative years there and we are grateful to know that shes a better person from her time at Beavercreek TKD.

My family goes to Beavercreek Taekwondo every week to train. Master Ken Tran is a great teacher and has great trained instructors. The facility is always neat and clean. The classes are grouped by age level not by experience levels. There are lots of kid classes and adult classes offered. Kids learn and alot about martial arts but I think that they learn more about themselves. My kids have learned how to protect themselves but they have also gained confidence, get exercise, make new friends, gain compassion of others, and they have learned to push themselves to succeed in martial arts. Beavercreek Taekwondo offers not only Taekwondo, but also offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Hapkido for adults. One interesting fact is that this school is registered with the Kukkiwon in Taekwondo, BJJ is registered with Pedro Sauer Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. and Hapkido is registered with the GHA. You get real training, and you become a registered black belt in their organizations too. Master Tran also brings in masters from other schools for seminars and additional martial arts training. Find out more from the webpage or even come watch a class and see for yourself. I would definitely recomend Beavercreek Taekwondo. Please give a (like) if you did. TY!

We did the two week trial. Not our cup of tea. The website and feel of the staff is very gimmicky. It seems like it’s just a cash cow to them. They try to fit as many kids as possible into these classes. The classes are not disciplined, it’s more like open play then teaching. Like I said not for us, depends what you are looking for. My 9-year was looking for a place more focused with instructors that know him.The review a year ago from Terri Passage is spot on.

My son has been coming to Beavercreek Taekwondo for over 2 years now. Master Tran creates a warm and inclusive atmosphere for his students to train in. He radiates positive energy and creates a fun environment. He makes sure each student is doing their personal best, which is incredibly important as all children have different strengths and weaknesses. Many of the older students are instructors for the younger students. I love this! It shows the younger students what they can become with hard work. This also allows the older students to develop their skills and experience. My son loves Taekwondo and looks forward to coming to class each week. I think that Beavercreek Taekwondo was the perfect place to foster his skills and help him to work towards his personal best.

We enrolled our children and were so pleased with the life skills and martial arts training they received that my wife and I enrolled as well. Master Ken Tran cares about the development of his students inside and outside of class. Its inspiring to me as an adult to see so many young ladies and gentlemen achieving success.

We have really enjoyed our journey. We have watched both of our kids learn and grow through their experience here. Our daughter struggled in the beginning with her coordination and confidence. Over the last several years it has been impressive how Master Tran and his staff have worked with her. Heading into her teenage years now, we know that she has confidence and inner strength. Beavercreek has helped reinforce so many character traits that we want to develop in our kids. Our son has always been more athletic. He has thrived at TKD and achieved his black belt and now is trying to his hand at ju jitsu. He has been challenged and pushed to become a better athlete and person.I cannot say enough good things about Beavercreek TKD. It is a wonderful place to learn multiple forms of martial arts and the atmosphere is one of family.

I feel absolutely blessed to go to such an amazing studio, and work there no less. Master Tran has taught me so much over the years, and I’ve made so many amazing friends. The atmosphere here is so welcoming and friendly. I love how diverse our community is and how well-rounded we all are as martial artists, with taekwondo and jiu jitsu. I can’t thank Master Tran enough for being an amazing teacher, and giving me so many opportunities.

Not only is this school gorgeous, but the owner is amazing. Master Ken teaches the kids to train inspired. Its an incredible message that kids dont hear enough. They come in, worn down from the day, and leave invigorated and happy!Dont even get me started on the adult programs. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu here is a no-brainer. Hes a certified instructor under the venerable master Pedro Sauer and the attention to detail is unmatched in the area.As a person who has trained martial arts since 1984, I recommend Beavercreek Tae Kwon Do!

Ken Tran is a scammer, he sits on his computer and lets his students do all the work. We told him our son needed a break and he would be taking some time off to play soccer. He said ok that we could put his classes on hold for three months. After soccer season (about six weeks later) our son decided he did not want to go back, when we told scammer Tran this, he said we would still have to pay another month because we did not give him a one month notice. My wife told him ok next month we want to cancel his classes to which he replied it has to be thirty day paid notice. I dont think it would matter what we did this scammer was going to get another payday from us. For all his talk about honor he doesnt seem to have a clue.

It was my first time taking my son to class. I was astonished at the poor performance of all the kids, even the kids with a brown belt. The instructors werent even watching nor correcting the kids doing kicks incorrectly. They are going to hurt themselves especially as they didnt even take time to stretch. As a Korean American I am ashamed that they are representing a Korean art form so poorly. The instructors were just a bunch of kids with black belts. Not a single Grandmaster in the joint. Im never bringing him back.

Our son, Joel, and our daughter, Selah, have both greatly benefited from being in Tae Kwon Do these past several years. Joel was very distracted and energetic. With Tae Kwon Do, he had an outlet for his energy that was constructive and beneficial. He became much more mellow at home and during school. Selah was diagnosed with dyslexia. Her psychologist told us that Tae Kwon Do had done wonders for building connections in her brain that would help her overcome her dyslexia. She has done very well. She even won the National Tae Kwon Do Gold medal in sparring during 2014! What an accomplishment!
