I will start by saying that their quality is usually 4-5 stars level quality, every time. The reason for the 1 star rating, however, is that they havent ever truly honored my appointment times. I would be happy to update my review if this changes and I decide to go back.I started going here based on word of mouth referrals from coworkers in the spring and got acrylic nails every 3-4 weeks for 4 months. Like I said, the quality of the nail job has been top notch and thats why I kept going back. However, I started to notice that, even if I had an appointment time, I sometimes would not have my nails started on until 1-2 hours after the appointment time! Super ridiculous. There is no way you can possibly plan your day around it.At first I just took a book with me and surrendered to the fact that Id be there all afternoon regardless of my appointment time. But after a few 1-2 hour waits I had to be done. Im now taking a break from acrylic nails and painting my own nails for the time being.Its unfathomable to me that a place wouldnt honor appointment times and allow people to walk in without appointments and get helped. I really dont get it, personally.

Never honor appointment times. Why offer appointments if walk ins take priority? Great work, but not worth waiting over an hour after my scheduled appointment time to start my service(s). Expect to be there all day or night. Not the most friendly either.

Very rude when I called. Was told I had to make an appt and I still sat for over 30 minutes before beginning my pedicure. The pedicure was so quick and barely did anything. It was pretty much a polish change and looked like a kid did it. Then I sat for another 20 minutes before they started my nails. Not enough staff to attend to the customers they had so employees kept going back and forth. Took me 2.5 hours at least for a bad toenail polish change and a dip manicure. I couldnt wait to get out of there.

We were visiting from out of town for a wedding and had a wonderful experience at wonder nails! I love that they accommodated my young daughter and made her feel like a princess. Beautiful space, professional, and lovely people. We would come all time if we didn’t live hundreds of miles away!

Very nice place. Clean on patrons side. Calming zen, spa, relaxing feel! Great work on nails. Only a 4 star as the employees ( owners) were very short, and snobby (mostly the wife. Husband seemed to be more personable). They would talk with some customers, and not others. They seemed to be the regulars (very clicky). Aside from that....very good

Wonder Nails has a relaxing environment. My nails are well done and the employees do a wonderful job of coordinating walk-ins with appointments. They are friendly and always remember you.

Hands down a great salon. The inside is quite amazing. They redid it and I have never been before the renovations as I was new to the area when they were done but omg 😱 I absolutely love this nail salon. Not to mention their work is absolutely above average. Every time I have been here they are soooo friendly and actually talk and carry a conversation. Worst place I could have gone to get my nails done. I have gone here a few times and they never seem to get what I want right. They messed up the first time and I asked them to redo it, well they didnt fix the issue and made it worse and they were definitely talking bad about me and the other customers. All my nails are pointed up and hurt. Not to mention the fact that he kept nicking me with the drill. Absolutely will not be returning and I now have to go to a new place to get them fixed. Save your money and go to a different place.

First, Alisha (or Alicia) was polite and did a good job, even though she was overbooked and it seemed understaffed, but these times are difficult. I waited around 35 minutes past my appointment, but she made it worth it with the herbal spa pedicure! I will visit here again.

The bad reviews on here are so bogus! i went here with my grandmother and mother and the results were impeccable. all of our nails are perfect, and everyone there is extremely nice. they constantly ask if you’re doing okay or if anything hurts or if the wax is too hot. i had my eyebrows done and NOWHERE has been able to do them as perfect as they look right now. so so so so pleased. will never go anywhere else again. decor and environment is beautiful too. there’s entertainment and little waterfalls, honestly don’t think you could find a better nail salon...

I’ve been going here for years. I’ve considered trying places closer to home, but I don’t trust anyone aside from Annie and Marv with my nails. Everyone here is very kind and understanding. They know who myself and my friends are when we walk in. They’re always making me laugh and do an AMAZING job on my nails. People who write bad reviews are clearly upset over something else or are lying altogether.

I have been going to wonder nails and spa often and their service has always been an average for the price. However, when I went this time for manicure and pedicure, the service they offered was very poor. The girl rushed my manicure and I wasn’t satisfied at all. Looking at my hands after the manicure it didn’t feel like I had a manicure because there was no finish on my nails and cuticles weren’t done at all. I was disappointed and felt like I wasted my $60 on the manicure and pedicure. I won’t go again.

Always quick service and very kind! Got me in right away for a nail repair at no charge since I had recently had a fill done! Very much appreciated! I love it here! Beautiful salon too!

The inside is gorgeous, the selection of nail polish is huge, and the workers are nice. They did my full set in 20 minutes, yet did the best job I have ever had! Not too thick, the nails look so natural, absolutely in love. Highly recommended, and will be a repeat customer!

I scheduled an appointment for 2 the day before, and when I came in they sat me in cold water for 40 minutes and no one came to give me the pedicure. They didn’t even come over to tell me I would be waiting. Ridiculous. I don’t know why people like this place.

My mom and I have been going to Wonder Nails for years! Weve always loved it. It is so relaxing and they do such a wonderful job! Before we ever went in there I had awful looking toe nails. After leaving for the first time my feet have looked better since. It is a nice way to sit back and relax. They take their time. Im glad we started going there when we did.

I was just here Saturday and I drive a little over an hour to go here. I have never waited longer then 15 minutes as a walk-in, which is great to me. John and Vee are amazing and I love the work they did. My pedi was great and my fill/fix was the greatest!!! I love the relaxing but yet very classy atmosphere.

I have NEVER EVER had a bad experience here. They have always been accommodating to me. I am a very picky person and anne has always been great.

I only trust the shop managers on my nails. The husband there always makes sure I am comfortable and ok. Always understanding when my hands cramp up and I need a break due to my fibromyalgia. I feel bad because my nails are so tiny but he always does a great job. Thanks again.

Ive been coming here for years and Im EXTREMELY disappointed in the lack of service my daughter and I received today. We got there shortly after 10 and no one said Hi to us or welcome or anything of that nature, per usual when Ive been there in the past. No one even asked me what service I wanted and there were 3 ppl working. My daughter and I picked out our colors and someone motioned for me to have a seat and my daughter went to watch the tv in the bar area as it had a kids show playing. After about 20 minutes the person who walked in AFTER me was asked what she wanted and told to have a seat and I still hasnt been talked to. Marv then walked past my daughter after almost 25 minutes of us being there and her being over there and told her she couldnt be in the bar area without a parent and not nicely either, making her cry, shes 6. Why would you even have a kids show on the tv in the bar area if kids arent allowed over there. I left, its one thing to be rude to me but to be rude to a 6yr old is uncalled for. Like I said Ive been coming here for years but after today Im not sure Ill be back.

They closed at 3pm however reopened at 4 for us yesterday to get our nails done for a wedding as it was the only time all of us could go together! We had a blast there they were so nice!

Was not good service over all 😢 I went there for the first time today and was not pleased. I made an appointment at 2:30 and wasn’t seen until 20 minutes after that which was ok cause I get it they were busy. But then when the lady started working on my nails she had cut and burned me twice to where I was bleeding. Then my nails are crooked and not painted well. After that they didn’t give me a lamp to Dry my nails and told me to wait there for 10 minutes when there where several lamps open 🙄. When I was done my nail smudged(so it wasn’t dry when she said it was). But it wasn’t bad and I wasn’t gonna waist more time there because by the time I left it was around 3:30!!! Then she said well maybe if u got gel u wouldn’t have to wait that long !!!

Called twice so ask advice on what manicure to get and was very annoyed and gave me a strong negative provoke. First impressions are so important and for this I will NEVER walk in those doors.

I got a French manicure there today. Before telling about my experience I will say that Im very happy with the end result! She did a very good job. However, when she put the white part on I asked her to make it thinner...it was close to half way up my nail. She made it thinner, but not enough. I asked 3 times for it to be thinner. Finally she huffed and showed the woman sitting next to me my nails. Her opinion mattered because? I said, you think Im silly? She said no that it should be the way I want it. Exactly! I do not appreciate the way she treated me! If I had wanted a tiny sliver of white thats what she should have done, without the huffing and showing another customer. Thank you for doing a good job, but I will not thank you for treating me like you,thought I was wrong for asking that my nails be done to my satisfaction!

Not going to lie. I wasnt very pleased with their customer service. You walk in and you have no clue what to do... and after 5 minutes someone finally said something to us but with no hi or how are you doing... and then they pointed to a chair and didnt say anything like we will be with you in a little bit they just ignored us for 20 minutes and they dont talk at all when they are with you and they wouldnt let us use our card when other people just used theirs before us.

We walked in with an appointment and the girl was extremely rude, my mom asked if she could reshape her nails because the person that did them before did a bad job and she got an attitude and said no and then I showed her a picture of what I wanted and ask if she could do that and she got an attitude and said “I guess”..we ended up leaving without getting our nails done..and had to go somewhere else

First time going here and I won’t be going back. If I could rate this with zero stars, I would. They were rushing like crazy. The salon manager did my nails and cut two of my fingers open while filing. Instead of filing my nails, he filed my skin because he was rushing. And I specially told him I didn’t want my nails square but he filed them square. None of the workers seemed friendly. Worst service I’ve ever had!!

Asked for a deluxe pedi didnt get that. Young guy that did my feet didnt talk...didnt ask anything... didnt do a complete pedi. When I asked about only having one hand done for a manicure bc I only have one hand they were going to charge me over half what a normal mani would be. I agreed to price bc I really needed it done... didnt get that either. Young man just got up and walked off when he was done with pedi nothing said to me at all. Only reason I gave 2 stars is bc my daughter was with me as well and the lady who did hers did a great job and was attentive. I have come here several times and gotten great service and a great deluxe pedicure... hoping this was just a one time thing...

Was not welcomed at the door. Had to wait 15 minutes for a scheduled 12:15 appointment. Was not acknowledged that my nails were dry to leave. When paying for the service there was no option on their machine to leave a tip.

Really bad experience. I do not recommend this salon. Ive been to a few nail places in Madison so I thought id try one in Beaver Dam. I received the worst service in the 3 decades Ive had my nails done.

Have been to this establishment several time. We always schedule an appointment but we always wait at least 30 min. It becomes extremely frustrating!
