Today my daughter who is 21 and her husband who is 23 were denied service at this place. They would not sell them cigarettes and when they went to the station near there they were told that they were the 4th white person to come in and say they were denied service today. The lady then said she sent a friend over earlier who happened to be a black gentleman to see if he could buy cigarettes and they were sold to the man without even being IDed. How is this acceptable?? They buy them there everyday even a customer recognized them and told the girl behind the counter it was unacceptable that they shop there all the time. Not anymore. Did I mention my son in law works for a local TV station?? Wonder what will happen to their business if that gets out!!!!

This location is convenient, well stocked and has a great breakfast. But there is a very negative aspect about this location as well. You can always count on the cashier being on her phone texting as she handles your transaction. This morning I put a bottle of water on the counter to purchase. The cashier finished her text, and read the response before she acknowledged my waiting. She scanned the bottle of water, picked her phone up and begin texting, not telling me a total or even looking up from her phone to indicate it was time to insert my card. When she realized I was staring at her, not going to assume she was ready, she then placed her phone down with a frustrated look to me and told me a total. I understand she could have been texting her kids or someone important. But lady when you handle people’s money I a transaction they puts money in that business, PUT YOUR PHINE DOWN AND BE PROFESSIONAL. This is the third time a cashier has portrayed a careless ethic from this store. I will not stop here again. Maybe they don’t care, but a tank of gas and my daily purchases account to about $450 a month. The store down the road will get it from this day forward.Be blessed!
