I am definitely letting everyone know about Meineke in Beaumont on Major Drive as being the very best place to take your car to get great service and people who really care about you. They go above and beyond all expectations. I am very grateful for these wonderful caring people .

Didnt have a good experience. I was just trying to get checked in for the services I booked an appointment for. On the way walking with the clerk to get my license plate to get checked in. Some guy asked a question, and boom jus walked away from me and started talking care of him. Which wouldnt have been a big deal if I hadnt took off work for the service. I just wanted to get in the system. So after sittin there being patient I walk up to the counter I get blown off. Sit back down over hear the guy talking he didnt want to get his car fixed. Told them he will bring it somewhere else. I walk back up to the counter get blown off again. I was there willing to spend money, and to get that customer service. I chose to leave and get serviced somewhere else. Maybe just my experience, and besides that I have nothing bad to say about. Lost a customer.

On September 9th I showed up to my appointment to get a quote for some exhaust work on my truck. I was very pleased with the quote they gave me of $316 for a single pipe system with a new muffler. Later that evening I made another appointment to have the work done the next day on the 10th and changed the muffler to a cheaper muffler. While at work I received a call telling me the work would be over $600. I asked how it had gone up and they had change it to a duel pipe system with two mufflers which isn’t what I wanted. I repeated what I wanted originally and they called me back to say it would be $500.86. Again I asked how it had gone up $200 from my original quote and she told me they had given me an incomplete quote on the 9th. I ended up paying $419 for the system which is better than $500.86 but I was very displeased with the fact that it seems like they baited me in with an incomplete quote.

Brought truck in for a alignment a week ago. Said they couldnt do it cause of bad lower control arm bushings plus rack and pinion bushings. I replaced all they listed and brought it back and then they said upper control arm bushings were bad. Never will use that place ever again.

I went in for a quote on exhaust, not sure why couldn’t give price over phone like everyone else, but was closest to work. Got quote for muffler swap and resonators deleted, when went back to get work done, asked girl at front desk to make sure they let me hear before they delete the resonators like the mechanic and I talked about. They said ok, got the muffler swapped they pulled truck up and said it was done, and if I wanted resonators done it would be extra and would have to come back other time. They charged me what they quoted for the whole job and didn’t do half of it. Now there is multiple exhaust leaks and the worst welding job Ive ever seen. Contacted corporate hotline but that got me no where, now I have to get this repaired elsewhere.

The service was great they did a good job. the people at the counter were in training and a little slow but very polite . When they needed help figuring out something when it was time for me to pay their manager with the short haircut was completely rude . Very unprofessional the way she had an attitude with the employees at the counter when they needed her help figuring something out. I know it was close to closing time but i feel she was out of line.

Had front brake hoses replaced after finding a leak in the system. They were very helpful to suggest a tow company, and were able to get my vehicle evaluated and fixed same day. Really appreciate the timely service and communication around my vehicle repairs.

Great place to go for all my cars need. They have fabulous customer service 😀.

Must have caught them on a bad day, have used meineme for over 30 years, the serviced all my after coverage cars. Been using the major road beaumont texas location for the last 4 or 5 years today was the only time I felt like a second class citizen going there. I lady at front desk was very short and dismissive with me. Guess I will have to shop around to find a new place to service my car. I I even bought life time pads with them, but not worth the humiliation I experience today to continue patronizing them

I had catalytic converters and C O2 sensor changed at Corvette Specialties. After that my muffle sounded different. Took truck to Meineke where they found a exhaust leak at the C O2 censor. Thanks Meineke.

I really wanted to give them a good review because the girl at the front was great but i have to say Im a little disappointed. First i had a coupon from their website for 19.99 basic oil change, well i was charged an additional 7.00 for a oil filter which states it is included on the coupon. But I was happy even at $30.00. I was not happy because they did not check my fluids, my windshield wiper fluid was out and still is. I know thats not a real big deal but if they skipped that then what else did they not do. I know that If I have any issues with my vehicle in the future that will probably come to my mind and I would not choose them to do business with again . Attention to detail is important especially is this competitive market. The girl up front saved them from 3 stars.

We are traveling coast to coast with our tiny motorhome, and they were able to get us in on short notice. They welded on a tailpipe and replaced the shocks quickly, so we were back on the road by 1030. Tisha, Dave, our mechanic--Scott, and the whole crew took great care of us. Id definitely recommend them if youre near Beaumont.

Called before hand to see if they where capable of servicing my vehicle detailed my vehicle and what needed service they said yes had to make sure because I live 40 minutes out of town. Went to the location to get the service done which was getting a/c recharged/inspected, and abs light checked they estimated 2hour wait which was fine the dissatisfaction was when I received the called that my vehicle was ready for pick up went to pick it up just to find out the services that my vehicle needed they where not equipped to complete/perform. All my questions were answered with i dont know why did they take 2 hours/money spent on uber/long travel just for them to tell me they couldnt perform the service fyi I own a very common vehicle (2016 Ram 1500) I dont understand.

This shop is good for their availability. Called the same day to get an alignment appointment. Other shops in the area require you to leave your for part of the day.

I did have an issue with the alignment job on my truck. I spoke to David, the store manager and he and his team fixed problem in a prompt and professional manner. Assuring me that Mienike would take care of any issues that may arise in the future, of any. I was very please on how I was treated.

Very pleased with my service experience. I called and made an appointment same day for my oil change and mentioned a few more concerns that I wanted them to take a look at while my car was in their shop. They had no problem accommodating and inspected my car for the additional concerns I had. When they were done some of my concerns had led to additional recommended repairs. My inspection report was emailed and texted to me and a risk ranking was associated with each additional recommended repair complete with pictures and videos to help the customer understand the component that needs repaired. Very pleased with this interactive learning environment. Meineke truly cares about its customers.Thank you!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE CITY! These guys are IT.THEY WILL FIND AND FIX ANYTHING! I own a jaguar and most other shops are clueless and have given me many an incorrect diagnosis. Costing money! Most mechanics only see profit especially for a female, but these guys are fair and true lovers of their trade. Best shop in the city.

Alright place to have your vehicle worked on. One of the ladies wasnt very friendly but the lady working when I picked up my vehicle was. Had my A/C compressor replaced or maybe as it looks like the same one that was previously attached. Either way the A/C now blows extremely cold which you need in southeast Texas. Only issue was the mechanic didnt tighten up the belt tensioner which resulted in the engine squealing with a load on it. I tightened it up myself and now there are no problems and my A/c still blows cold. Thank you Meineke.

This review is quite long, but I highly recommend that you read it, just so you go in there with an idea of what you may be dealing with as well.Part 1. Since it said my character limit was exceeded, Im doing this in two parts, this needs to be seen.Not even one star. This place is a joke. I brought my car in two weeks ago for an alignment and some front end work that they said had to be done before they could align it. Cost me almost $900. Had the front lower ball joints replaced and the steering knuckles replaced, got two new tires put on the front and got the alignment. Yesterday I noticed my BRAND NEW tires were wearing out and almost bald in the EXACT SAME SPOT my old tires were wearing. So I brought it back to them and explained to them what happened. They pull it in and get it on the lift (remember this part...its on the lift). They told me that they would replace my tires and give me a free alignment if I got the work done that they were about to show me. They took me out into the shop and showed me that both of the bushings on my lower control arms were bad, and that if I got those fixed, they would agree to replace my front tires and give me a free alignment. Turns out replacing those two control arms would have cost me over $500. Having parts store experience and a knowledge of brands, hearing him mentioning that they were getting Moog brand parts, I requested that they go with a cheaper brand. Moog is very expensive, and yes, they are a little bit of a better quality but not by much that would make a huge difference and they offer a lifetime warranty on their parts, which most parts manufacturers dont. Once I mentioned that I knew about Moog and requested a cheaper brand, they did drop the price down to around $480.The second part of my review will be in the pictures since it exceeds the character limit but I feel it needs to be seen. I went in for an oil change & I was out in 35 min... The gentleman that worked on my car was very thorough & the young lady at the front desk was very friendly.. This will be where I bring my car for service and you should too..HAPPY CUSTOMER

I specifically asked for an oil change. My appt was at 230pm it took until 419pm...At 418pm I asked why would an oil change take that long. I was very polite when I asked. They said because you need 4 new tires. I asked how bad are the tires and i was never given an answer. Instead they continued to try to sale me 4 new tires. I was on a schedule and needed to be in Houston by 530pm. Again I only asked for an oil change. Thanks

I made an appointment to go get my oil and back brakes change they took off my hubcap to check my brakes but due to me refusing to pay $800 for brake change,I end up getting my oil changed and ended up losing the same hubcap that they removed to check the brakes on that same day after buying them from Houston a wk ago and I didnt notice till my daughter seen it missing.... Thanks Meineke... My brakes was most definitely going out but the rotors was in good shape that wasnt even an $800 job. I was charged less than $100 for my brake change and it took less than 30min...I give 2 stars for no problems with the oil change, but Im still riding on 3 hubcap..

I went to Meineke as a first-time customer for an oil change. Upon check-in for my appointment, I confirmed with the clerk that the Oil Change Package includes a free tire rotation, tire pressure check, etc. Though I was early for my 7:30am appointment, and was the first customer of the day, the oil change/tire rotation took 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete. When the service tech brought my car around at the conclusion of the service, he again confirmed that they did the free tire rotation and tire pressure check. However, given that I placed a visual marker on each tire prior to arrival, I knew that the tire rotation was not preformed, nor was the tire pressure topped off. When I complained to the Clerk, she told me I was wrong and the service(s) were performed. DO NOT USE MEINEKE as they falsely advertise a free tire rotation/tire pressure check with all Oil Change Packages and it was not performed.

Absolutely amazing service. Dylan and I dont know the name of the other guy who worked on my car, they Replaced my headlights, back up lights, bunch of interior lights. They were nice and friendly.Highly recommend this place. Ill be taking my car to these guys everytime now!I genuinely wonder how some people have given them a 1 star rating. Had a 1:00 PM appt. Car not taken back to change oil & rotate tries until 2. :05 & hardly anyone other than another elderly lady & myself were wearing mask... Told new lady tires had not been done on last two oil changes. Also informed manger I would not tolerate any oil on recently detailed carpets. Finally got car at 3:05. & after getting ticket tires not rotated & getting into car same wrong ticket on windshield & dash computer not reset. I reset computer & young man came out with new sticker & I added 3,000 miles & he replaced. Said he was new so evidently not teaching new techs properly. No oil. Thank goodness. Sign posted said to set appt to be able to have a place in line for appt. But kept taking walk-ins as they came in. When I complained about the wait was ASKED IF I HAD AN APPT. ( by Dave mgr. which I did.) I always call a day or days ahead for a time but have had to waits 2/3 hours for service. Have used this location for many years, as close to where I live & have become friends with owners. I expect much better service but they have frequently turn over in staff. Considering a change UNLESS THINGS IMPROVE. I AM ALWAYS ON TIME. I do often recommend this location but may stop. Thanks.🙏

Great service, Thank you. I normally handle all my own repairs, but some things are a pain without a lift. My car had been in an accident, direct impact to the front tire, ruined the wheel and bent the strut. I replaced the wheel and strut. However, adjusting the camber and re-aligning everything, while rolling around on the ground under a jacked-up car, is a real pain.They fixed the main issues, and told me about other problems (of which I was already aware) that would need to be addressed soon. I appreciate their honest evaluation and not being hard pressed to make non-critical repairs. The parts and labor prices were fair.While I will continue to make many of my own repairs, I will most certainly use this shop again. Especially for pain repairs that need a lift ;-)

Excellent service!I went in at about 5:10pm to get my car inspected. Unfortunately, I didnt get the ladys name, but she was very professional. Up front, she explained there would be a 30-45min wait. She said she had one certified inspector there, they were doing an inspection, and a brake change that were ahead of me. She asked if I wanted to come back there would be two inspectors. She informed me that normally they dont do the inspections after 5, but made an exception. I explained that I didnt mind waiting. It wasnt even 15 minutes, and I had been taken care of, and on my way. She was very nice, and suggested other services I may need for my car without being pushy. The other employees had held the door for me, and smiled each time they came into the office. Thank you for the exemplary service!

First and last visit! I had a scheduled appointment for an oil change, after the oil change I made it home and my car was leaking oil took my car back I was told the problem was corrected, next day my car was leaking oil again. I took my car back again and another technician corrected the problem. The manager was concerned about fixing the issue, but you shouldnt have to make several trips for a simple oil change. Overall customer service is fine, but because of the issues with my oil change I wont be a returning customer!

I went here a couple months back. My car had crapped out on me and I got towed to the shop pretty close to their closing time and they werent gonna be able to get me in. Im not local so I was gonna have to sleep in my car until the next day. About 30 minutes after they locked up and left the guy had came back because he didnt feel right having me out there all night and worked on my car after hours so that I could be on my way. Really nice people here. Would use them again.

Not a single employee wearing masks. The guys outside I get, but at bare minimum the 3-4 people in the office could put one on.

Brought my vintage sports car in at 7:30 am with an exhaust issue and got it back at 11:30 am with a quality repair. They did exactly what I needed them to do.

Total RIP off. I paid 25 to plug a slow tire leak and it leaked the very next day. They wanted to charge me 55 to change a rear bulb. It took my husband 3 minutes to do it .

Upon my last oil change(at a lube shop in Houston) they informed me id be needing new brake pads. So I went here because it was close to my work. Knowing full and well that my rotors were in fine shape, i took my car to this Meineke location hoping they could put new pads on while I was at work, and I’d be on my way. Simple as that. I inquired as to the price of just having new pads put on, i was told that the mechanic would have to “look over everything to find out what was wrong, address said issues, and they’d have a quote for me.” I had a certified mechanic inspect my rotors literally right before I went here. The Meineke mechanic said he couldnt put new pads on “if” my rotors needed to be changed(minimum $250-$300)...Should I opt not to want that service. Company policy. Now I understand their ‘policy’, but really it seems like it’s all about money. I wasnt about to be charged upwards of $300 for parts and a service I did not need. I had my rotors rotated, brake pads changed for a grand total of $100 at a different company. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is due to the front desk lady being polite. Nicole was her name I believe. I hoped I could get honest service at this location, but alas, I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere. After talking to a slew of associates at work, they all mentioned a similar sentiment with this location. Trying to overcharge people for services and issues not needed, no thanks!

I got an appointment for a diagnostic of my cars problems and they did an excellent job explaining to me the possible causes of my problem and charge me nothing. Thank you guys, I always be willing to recommend you as a very reliable people.

I stopped by to have a second opinion on the issues Im having with my engine. They ran diagnosis and pinned down the problem quickly and Julie explained the situation to me in terms I can actually understand. I didnt have any work done at this shop but judging by the way they conduct the business, I think they make quality repairs. Highly recommended.

I have really enjoyed every one of my experiences at Meineke. Everyone I interact with is sweet and patient, all of my questions are answered and all of my needs are met. Ive brought two different vehicles to Meineke on Major Dr in the past month and you cant put a price on how fast they do work on a vehicle. My trucks were out of there in less than 24 hours each time.
